#212 It was the worst of times, it was the best of times

The 2025/26 season is done for Norwich City, and we're filing this one under 'eventful'.The OTB podcast team of Ryan Livermore, Dan Brigham, Zoe Morgan and Steve Sanders look back over a nine months that started with optimism at a time when we thought Big Phil was an Eastenders character, took in sackings and boardroom farce, and then a daring rescue by a heroic Belgian. The team revisit their highlights (Tony Gary's comeback, Clement's bleep test, Kenny waving his arms to help Vlad save a penalty) and lowlights (Sargent, Nunez, basically everything up until November) of the topsiest-turviest season in years, hand out some awards including a tightly fought Player of the Season, and take a deep gulp and revisit a truly honking set of pre-season predictions with the help of Michael Bailey.Thank you for listening to the OTB (and On The Ball) podcast this season. We'll be back again for the start of our glorious promotion epic in August!

#211 Ram-ifications of a Carrow Road swan song

So close yet so far for Norwich City! The OTB panel (bar Steve) are joined by the Pink Un's Connor Southwell to dissect and digest things other than press room pies.Ryan Livermore, Zoe Morgan and Dan Brigham, along with Connor, talk a squad that may be ready made for a play-off push next year, a wonderful, unified reaction to a *checks notes* 9th place finish that would rival most promotion celebrations, and Kenny's place in our all-time City XI's.Plus, Dan puts a Gunn to Connor's head to find out his end of season accolades, condemnations, most unusual moments but most of all, his distaste of Blyth services.

    #210 Mo Toure No Problems

He's only gone and done it again. All on the OTB podcast hail Mo Toure, Norwich City's wonder from down under, who bagged himself another hattrick, as the Canaries came from behind to triumph away from home again, this time with a 4-2 win at Roy Hodgson's Bristol City.Ryan Livermore, Dan Brigham, Zoë Morgan and Steve Sanders congratulate themselves on their decision to tune in, kick off the Toure v Makama debate ahead of next season, ask how many strips Big Phil tore off them at half-time, and give some kudos to the thoroughly uncheeky Ryan Garry/Garry Ryan.Plus, there may be no mysteries left to solve in the league for Norwich City, but there's still the case of the tactics board of truth, vending machine and all the other stuff to wrap up, as ChatGPT Get Banged draws to a dramatic . And arise the versatile Liam Giggs, an idiot leaves his phone on, and the launch of a new OTB feature coming next season featuring [dramatic pause]...audience participation!

    #209 A halfwit's head loss

That's not how that was all supposed to go. The On The Ball podcast reacts to the big one/damp squib (delete as appropriate), and try and find some positives amidst the disappointment, as Ipswich Town get their first win at Carrow Road for 20 years with a 2-0 win on Saturday.Ryan Livermore, Dan Brigham, Zoe Morgan and Steve Sanders take up the less than enviable task of reliving the soreness of the weekend's result, including refereeing cowardice, a misjudged starting XI, and the cameo from a little Chilean fella who totally lost his head.Plus, the criminal offence of grabbing the ball, the low hanging fruit of 'Roy Hodgson is old' gags, a chip on Ruddy Jr's shoulder, and the greatest Delia impression you'll hear this year in ChatGPT Get Banged.

  5. 2

    #208 OTB or not OTB

Slightly new name, slightly new look, same podcasters, and absolutely the same vaguely coherent waffle. The On The Ball podcast is now the OTB podcast and Norwich City have helpfully kicked off the 'OTB' era with a win (they must have known), triumphing in one of their finest performances of the season at The Den with a 2-1 victory over Millwall.Ryan Livermore, Dan Brigham, Zoë Morgan and Steve Sanders dish out more praise to the lads as Toure comes over all supersub, Field plays the field, and one of the panel has to eat some humble pie over Pelle Mattsson's finishing.Plus, big derby anticipation, canaries landing on Nunez, the pointlessness of tiny shinpads, and why letting political party leaders into your dressing room probably isn't a great idea.

  6. 1

#207 Tattoo sleeves and water bottle hands

After a midweek blip, normal service under Philippe Clement was resumed for Norwich City as they took to The Valley to grind out a 1-0 win at the weekend. However, in every great heroic quest there's a chippy little Welsh fella … the panel of Ryan Livermore, Dan Brigham and Steve Sanders examines the tape of the Nathan Jones vs Philippe Clement and the handshake that wasn't, as well as talking up Norwich City's new-found solidity, the rise and rise of Pelle Mattsson and the versatility of Liam 'Ryan' Gibbs.Plus, there's the ultimate verdict on two left-footed lads of yore, Mattsson's hair-and-tat combo and that whole thing about paying people a wage they can live off.
