This special episode brings together advocates, organizers, and community voices to reflect on why water must be treated as a human right and how equitable water management can support healthier neighborhoods.The conversation begins by grounding listeners in the global significance of World Water Day and what it means locally for residents across Allegheny County. Guests discuss how access to safe, affordable water is not only essential for health and dignity, but also a key component of environmental justice.The episode then turns to stormwater mitigation, unpacking how flooding, runoff, and aging infrastructure disproportionately impact environmental justice communities.
