Situationships, Lies & Trusting Your Gut

In light of some recent life events, we're wondering- how big of a lie is okay (if at all), when do you let yourself truly trust your gut instinct, and what are these 'situationships' here to teach us?  Remind yourself that people choose their own place in your life by their behaviour and actions. You have standards and boundaries guiding you towards whats right for you. And as always, reflecting on our capacity to be honest ourselves, and vulnerable in relationship even when we want to point the blame at others. Its All Love, Baby.

  3. -2

    Truths, Judements & Existential Angst

We're a bit all over today, in our usual style, dancing between casual chit chat and the plight of our human condition. Top tier luteal phase content in a nutshell! Catch up with us before we get into the concept from our previous episode with Amber Carsten- keeping your Truths on a leash! Attempting to tame the judgement within us, the mystery of (some) mens' egos, being your own parent... like I said, a bit all over but it makes sense (mostly) I swear LOL.

The 48 Laws of Power- Intention & Influence + A Deep Dive into Law #3 (Conceal Your Intentions)

Today is a bit of a book club moment, we're talking about the book The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene. The concepts of power he outlines in this book can be a bit unsettling at first- imagining that it is innate in human nature to vie for power (sometimes quite manipulatively or aggressively), is not completely unreasonable, but hard to wrap your head around how this can serve for the good of all. A lot of us seem to think of power and something inherantley 'bad' or wrong to seek out (same with money), but how might this be an illusion we cast over others (and ourselves) as a method we're using inside the game of power? Why does it matter to try and understand the game of power? Is it moral to seek it out? Lets get into it ;)  Favorite quote so far-  "What cannot be seized and consumed creates power."

  10. -9

Therapy: Why We Need It & Discovering the Different Modalities

Starting today off with some new notes on cycle tracking (that follicular phase goes crazyyyy LOL). But our main topic today is therapy! Thinking about getting into it, maybe you already are... so let's learn about some different styles of therapy together. And watch out for those red flags you might see in a therapist.. indeed, not even the trained humans are perfect 0_0 Seems like a good idea to have an understanding of the many different modalities and perspectives that therapists support from, to help you find the right person or just know what they're guiding you through!

  11. -10

The Year of the Fire Horse is here!!

What does that even mean LOL? Lets get into it, reflect on the year of the Wood Snake (2025) and how the themes of the Chinese New Year actually feels pretty on point for a lot of us right now. Then lets chat about how we can increase our capacity for all that this year is calling us into.

  12. -11

Come hang with us while we chat about hot dogs, unnecessarily spooky trips and whatever else these goofy gals can cook up.

  13. -12

    Perspective Shift

How can we change the perspectives that are keeping us so limited? Not just in our physical reality but more-so how it limits our ability to feel GOOD about life. The material shifts matter too, but the mental comes first.

  14. -13

We're yappin and catching up for about the first 25ish minutes, then getting into some juicy relationship talk. What does it mean to have standards? How do you apply them to dating or a current relationship? And once you got em, you realize they aren't always all they're talked up to be...

We brainstorm kinder, less consumer-y traditions, mindset shifts, and even scroll through Bible TikTok... We LOVE Christmas okay! Red Flags & Empathy Fails: Navigating Relationships

Relationships of every kind will be difficult at times, seems unavoidable, but what justifies as a 'red flag'? Maybe red flags are just a sign our values or boundaries are being crossed or not matched in someone else. Being truly empathetic may help us sift our way through these issues that come up between us, it's our responsibility to stand up for our own needs AND be open to meeting theirs as well (if we really love them that is).

  23. -22

Nourishing Body and Soul with Authenticity

So many 'shoulds' these days, so many opinions on what is right for us or who we 'should' be, what we 'should' do... maybe we SHOULD just say fuck all that, and realize what I WANT to do, and who I WANT to be is really whatever I feel most excited about and thats up to me. That's really all it is.

  24. -23

    Increase Your Capacity in Uncertainty

Its in our nature to look for and assign meaning to life around us- but at some point, doing this with everything is preventing us from seeing, feeling an relating to the beauty and mystery that is all around us, only visible when we can be comfortable in uncertainty. Join us as we dig in and ponder why this can be so difficult- and how we can get clearer on our own standards and expectations to mitigate the anxiety that can come along with uncertainty at first.    TDLR: Grasping onto the illusion of control out of fear of the unknown is limiting your experience of bliss, love and the excitement of curiosity. Get clear on how you want show up in life (your standards), and use that as your guide instead of forcing your way or putting your peace in other people’s hands by waiting for them to do what you want (expectations).

  25. -24

Protect Your Energy: Rituals, Intuition, and Guardians

Hey friend — Its October! So today, we get real about the weird, wonderful, and sometimes spooky parts of expanding we're facing: 'love and light' is sweet, but energetic boundaries, gratitude for the protectors, and simple rituals matter too. We talk guardians, feeling safe in your body, and why protecting your attention is the highest form of self-care and self-preservation in times like this. If your phone time leaves you frazzled (which it does to all of us) or your emotions feel like mini-possession, then we might be on to something... We are questioning our inputs, and pondering how can things like cozy practices, grounding tips, intentional screen-time, and tiny rituals can help us feel more steady and calm.  Inspiration for this episode comes from this episode of The Emerald- a beautifully curated podcast that tells story through myth, metaphor and meaning. https://www.themythicbody.com/podcast/guardians-and-protectors/

Take up Space, Make Bad Art

It seems we all put so much pressure on ourselves to produce results, we forget the importance of creating just for the sake of expression. When we consume input so much more than we give output into the world, how does that affect our energy for life? Does it become dull and mundane? Allowing boredom the space to become inspiration is key. Pushing through the doubts of your creations is necessary.  All the excuses that pop into your mind to stop you, are just the rules that are begging to be broken.

  36. -35
