The Third Day with Flute
I was listening to The Third Day and realized it might sound good with a flute part, so I played around a bit, and here's what I came up with... About halfway through I realized that the chords go crazy on this piece. Whew! You'll have to forgive me for the notes that are off.

Jam Session
One of the funnest things to do is get together with friends and have a Jam session. I'm just lucky enough that my best friends are also family. Ria and Jake are both incredible on the piano and flutes. This was a unique jam session because all of the flutes played were made by Jake. The solo piece Jake plays is also his original composition - and quite amazing.

Row, Row, Row Your Flute
I was having a little fun with the copy and paste function on my recording program. Did you know Row Your Boat could be split into 8 parts? It works - even with a tenor flute. But finding that even a couple rounds of row your boat makes a pretty short podcast, I threw in a couple flute improvisations. You'll have to excuse the little kid voice in the background - I guess my daughter wanted to be in the show.

Rain - with Words
This is the song Rain from Dayspring. Maria Hathaway, my sister, wrote the words, and Shelly Hathaway, my other sister, is the singer. I highly recommend that you take a look at their blogs and websites. Both are incredibly talented individuals. In addition to being an amazing singer, Shelly designs incredible websites. In addition to being an incredible poet, Maria is an amazing artist. Five Favorite Fifer hymns
A collection of hymn solos, played on the fife. The fife is like a cross between a side-blown flute and a recorder. These are not original tunes, but are traditional hymn tunes.

Practice Session 5
This is a piano piece I've been just starting to work with. It still has a lot of work to do on it, and I haven't mastered the rhythm yet, so keep that in mind when you hear my mistakes. I've been trying to match the interestingness of Gazelem. I'd love to have everyone's input. What does it need? What could be changed?

Sopranino Improvisation
This is another flute improvisation. The sopranino is my favorite recorder, probably because it was the first flute I taught to myself play, 13 years ago.

Tenor Flute Improvisation
This is a recording of a first time improvisation. The only editing involved was the adding of the echo. Everything else was on the spot. The Tenor flute being played was built by my brother, who sells them through Willowrise.
