In this episode, we will be discussing whether affirmative action is considered just, in light of the case the Supreme Court is currently looking at: Students for Fair Admissions (SFFA) v. Harvard. SFFA is arguing that Harvard’s current admissions practices violate the Equal Protection Clause, and is looking to overturn Grutter v. Bollinger, which currently allows race to be a factor, but not the determining factor, in college acceptance. Harvard, on the other hand, says that they aim for a demographically diverse student body.
