This week we have the distinct pleasure of sitting down with local Maine author of Season of Fire and The Starlit Shadow and all around great person Cidney Mayes. We dive deeper into both of her books, her background and what got her writing in the first place. Not only that, but she unveils the name of the sequel to her book The Starlit Shadow, you heard it here first folks! You do not want to miss this one.

This week we dig into the second novel of local author and friend of the show Cidney Mayes. Join us as we review Starlit Shadow, A Court of Thorns and Roses meets Moulin Rouge. A story full of court intrigue romance and fairy folk. David has a new crush and Matt has some choice words to describe the characters.

This week we review Game Stopper by Jaqueline Snowe. A book that we had the distinct pleasure of reading before its release (That's right we are THAT cool) Matt talks football injuries including CTE and manliness, David gets into hands and chest again, We all talk shoulders and Phoebe gets real steamy as we all start to blush. This week we review Crazy Wild Tara Janzen, a romantic spy thriller with all sorts of twists and turns. Matt gets a new nickname, David develops a new crush and Phoebe reads some juice box involved steamy

Once again we digress and sit down with Lauren H. Mae, author of The Fate Factor. We talk about some of the inspiration behind her novel including grandmothers, magic, art, Jäger, handsome men and candles. Join us for what was an incredibly fun conversation with another local author.

This week we review Triangle by Danielle Steele. Matt Protests reading another horrible Danielle Steele novel about another rich girl from Paris spending Daddy's money while in the midst of a very strange love triangle.

We're not even sure what's going on here, this is what happens when Matt lets the tape roll and we go on a ridiculous rant.

We finish off our "trilogy?" with Spellbound Seduction by G.M. Fairy. This book gets hot, heavy and murdery. As always Matt nails the plot despite not reading the book and David fawns over some male chest and offends the Mennonites while Phoebe reads some serious steamy.

This week we review Stay in my Swamp by G. M. Fairy. Picking up right where we left off with our oversexed characters Beck and Liona
