Ep 223 | Why You're Still Afraid to Be Seen (And What Your Nervous System Has To Do With It) with Anna Holtzman
If you've ever talked yourself out of being visible — pulled back from an opportunity, avoided putting something out there, or kept waiting until you felt more ready — you’re going to love this episode. I’m joined by Anna Holtzman, a licensed therapist, coach, and host of the podcast How to Trust Yourself, who works with accomplished women ready to express their voice with clarity and integrity and lead from the inside out. Anna's background spans TV, publishing, and years of nervous system-informed practice that grew out of her own experience with burnout and chronic pain — and what she and I get into in this conversation is something that doesn't get talked about enough in the business world: the nervous system's role in everything we do.What we explore together is why the most sensitive, most gifted people — the coaches, the healers, the creatives — are often the ones most afraid to be seen. It's not because they don't have something important to say — it's because the very openness that makes them extraordinary at their work is the same thing that makes visibility feel genuinely threatening at a biological level. But what makes this conversation extra juicy is how much Anna and I have in common — she brings the therapeutic lens and I bring my yoga perspective — but we both have a deep connection to the somatic, nervous system and inner work that we both love. Together we get to have the kind of conversation that goes beneath the surface of business strategy and into the real, tangible reasons why fear has such profound consequences for how visible you're willing to be, how you talk about your work, and ultimately how much of an impact you make. In this episode we talk about:Why coaches, healers, and creatives are wired for deep vulnerability in their work — and why that same wiring makes visibility feel so much more threatening than it does for othersThe nervous system explanation for why you talk yourself out of putting your work into the world, and why pushing through it without addressing what's underneath rarely works long-termAnna's dialoguing with fear method — and what it actually sounds like to treat your fear like a trusted friend instead of a problem to eliminateThe "readiness" myth: what's really happening when you keep moving the goalpost on when you'll finally feel ready to be seenWhy the moment things start working can feel just as destabilizing as when they're hard — and what that tells you about how your nervous system is wiredHow graded exposure — small, nervous-system-friendly steps forward — creates lasting change without the boomerang effect of going too big too fastThe role of co-regulation and community in making any of this possible, and why they aren't soft extras — they're the actual mechanism through which transformation happensYou don't have to get rid of your fear to be visible. You never will. But you can learn to move with it — and this episode is going to show you how!Connect with Anna on Instagram and get her free workshop, "Be Seen", for sensitive entrepreneurs & creatives who want to be seen and heard—without losing themselves.🔗 Ways to Work With Stacey & Free Resources💚 1:1 Coaching & MastermindBook your free Ultimate Impact Blueprint Session to explore private coaching or mastermind support and take your life and business to the next level.🌟 Passionate & Prosperous AcademyJoin the Academy for coaching, mentorship, and community designed to help you build and grow a transformational business without ads or complicated funnels—just powerful offers, relationships, and live delivery.📈 Free Resource: High-Converting Event PlaybookLearn how to create masterclasses, workshops, and talks that actually lead to clients (not crickets).💻 Free Mini-Course: Your Irresistible Signature 1:1 OfferFive simple steps to crafting a premium 1:1 offer your ideal clients are ready to say yes to.🧘 Passionate & Prosperous Manifestation Toolkit ($47)An exclusive toolkit featuring a 52-card affirmation deck and a guided journal with custom prompts to help you align, manifest, and take intentional action.Get Full Show Notes, Event Sign Ups and More Information Here:http://www.staceybrassrussell.com/podcast

Ep 222: Making Stuff Happen: The Difference Between Big Vision + Right Now Actions
There are two completely different kinds of action in a business — and most people are either mixing them up or don't realize there's a difference at all. There are the actions you take to make money now and get clients. And there are the actions you take to build toward the bigger vision — the life and business you're ultimately working toward. These are not always the same. And confusing them is keeping a lot of people stuck. In this episode, I'm breaking it all down — because the truth is, your business exists to fund your life. Not the other way around. The big vision — the body of work, the lifestyle, the freedom, the health, the version of yourself you're becoming — that's what this is all for. But you cannot start there. You cannot build the dream business model before you have a business that makes money. The money comes first. And that means the actions that get you to money now have to come first too. What I see constantly — with people just starting out and with people who have been building for years — is that they're doing tomorrow's work today. They're taking big vision actions when what they actually need right now is a client and revenue. Or they've been so locked into the immediate hustle that they've never given themselves permission to think about what they're actually building toward. Both are a problem. And this episode is about how to hold both — clearly, intentionally, and in the right order.Reasons to tune in:The difference between Big Vision actions and Immediate Goal actions — and why knowing which one you're taking changes everythingWhy you cannot build your dream business model first — and what you actually have to do before any of that becomes possibleHow to use a four-quadrant framework to map the full picture of what you're working toward: lifestyle, business, health, and identityWhy the right immediate action is almost always simpler than what most people are doing — and what it actually looks likeHow to wake up every morning and know exactly which kind of action belongs in your dayThis is for you whether you're just getting started or years into building — because the confusion between these two kinds of action doesn't go away on its own. It just gets more expensive.🔗 Ways to Work With Stacey & Free Resources💚 1:1 Coaching & MastermindBook your free Ultimate Impact Blueprint Session to explore private coaching or mastermind support and take your life and business to the next level.🌟 Passionate & Prosperous AcademyJoin the Academy for coaching, mentorship, and community designed to help you build and grow a transformational business without ads or complicated funnels—just powerful offers, relationships, and live delivery.📈 Free Resource: High-Converting Event PlaybookLearn how to create masterclasses, workshops, and talks that actually lead to clients (not crickets).💻 Free Mini-Course: Your Irresistible Signature 1:1 OfferFive simple steps to crafting a premium 1:1 offer your ideal clients are ready to say yes to.🧘 Passionate & Prosperous Manifestation Toolkit ($47)An exclusive toolkit featuring a 52-card affirmation deck and a guided journal with custom prompts to help you align, manifest, and take intentional action.Get Full Show Notes, Event Sign Ups and More Information Here:http://www.staceybrassrussell.com/podcast

Ep 221 | [Coaching Episode] How to Stop Leaving Money on the Table with Paulette Perhach
There's a story I hear constantly from service-based business owners: I need more leads. More reach. More people. And sometimes that's true. But more often than not, when I start asking questions, I find out the answer isn't out there — it's already inside the business.I was super excited when Paulette Perhach reached out to grab a coaching episode spot on the show. Paulette is an award-winning travel writer and the founder of Powerhouse Writers, a writing coaching business for memoirists, personal essayists, and creative nonfiction writers who have been carrying their stories for years and haven't been able to get them finished or published. She came to this call with a very common desire: to make more money in her business. She'd been investing significant time, energy, and money into her marketing and wasn't getting the traction she'd hoped for.Once we got talking, I discovered that Paulette has a decent-sized email list, a proven offer, powerful testimonials, and clients who get real results. And yet she couldn't quite figure out where the gap was — so she assumed she needed more leads. What we uncovered together is that the answer was already inside her business, and that the launch and conversion strategy she'd been leaning on likely wasn't the right match for the offer she's actually selling. Why you need to listen to this one:Why I told Paulette directly: I don't think you have a reach problem — and what that diagnosis actually means for her businessThe difference between a reach strategy and a conversion strategy, and how to know which one your business actually needs right nowWhy you don't need a massive audience to sell high-ticket — you need the right people and a strategy designed to meet them where they areHow to build a live launch experience that feels generous and valuable but is also intentionally designed to convertThe mindset piece underneath it all: what gets in the way of making your offer with confidence, and how Paulette and I worked through it in real timeIf you've been spinning your wheels on marketing while the real opportunity is sitting right inside your business — this one's for you.You can connect with Paulette on her website and Instagram.🔗 Ways to Work With Stacey & Free Resources💚 1:1 Coaching & MastermindBook your free Ultimate Impact Blueprint Session to explore private coaching or mastermind support and take your life and business to the next level.🌟 Passionate & Prosperous AcademyJoin the Academy for coaching, mentorship, and community designed to help you build and grow a transformational business without ads or complicated funnels—just powerful offers, relationships, and live delivery.📈 Free Resource: High-Converting Event PlaybookLearn how to create masterclasses, workshops, and talks that actually lead to clients (not crickets).💻 Free Mini-Course: Your Irresistible Signature 1:1 OfferFive simple steps to crafting a premium 1:1 offer your ideal clients are ready to say yes to.🧘 Passionate & Prosperous Manifestation Toolkit ($47)An exclusive toolkit featuring a 52-card affirmation deck and a guided journal with custom prompts to help you align, manifest, and take intentional action.Get Full Show Notes, Event Sign Ups and More Information Here:http://www.staceybrassrussell.com/podcast

Ep 220 | More Clients = More Conversations: The Law of Client Attraction You're Completely Missing
Most coaches and service-based business owners I talk to say the same thing: I need to figure out client attraction. And I get it — because if you don't have clients, you don't have a business. But here's what I'm seeing over and over again: people are putting almost all of their energy into posting online and wondering why it's not working — while leaving the activities that actually move the needle completely untouched. The truth is that client attraction has a law, and it's simpler than the industry wants you to believe. More clients equals more conversations. Not more posts, not a better content strategy, not a shinier website. Conversations — real ones, with real people — are where clients are actually created. And most people are so focused on what they're putting out online that they're skipping this almost entirely. In this episode I'm breaking down what client attraction actually looks like for coaches, teachers, and service-based business owners selling high-ticket one-on-one or group experiences. I get into why social media is genuinely the longest route to a paying client, what has to be true about someone before they're ever ready to invest, and what it means to be so embodied in your work and your offer that conversations about what you do start to happen naturally — online and off.In this episode you'll hear:Why posting online is the longest route to a client — and what most people are skipping entirely that would actually move the needleWhat has to be true about someone before they're ready to become a paying clientWhy every activity in your business should be designed to start or extend a conversationThe real role of social media, ads, and outside marketing help — and when (and whether) any of it actually makes senseWhat "leave your house" has to do with building a sustainable client base — and why this one shift changes everythingWhy you don't need a website, a big following, or a marketing team to get your next clientIf you've been pouring energy into your online presence and still waiting for it to translate into paying clients, this episode is going to reframe the whole picture.🔗 Ways to Work With Stacey & Free Resources💚 1:1 Coaching & MastermindBook your free Ultimate Impact Blueprint Session to explore private coaching or mastermind support and take your life and business to the next level.🌟 Passionate & Prosperous AcademyJoin the Academy for coaching, mentorship, and community designed to help you build and grow a transformational business without ads or complicated funnels—just powerful offers, relationships, and live delivery.📈 Free Resource: High-Converting Event PlaybookLearn how to create masterclasses, workshops, and talks that actually lead to clients (not crickets).💻 Free Mini-Course: Your Irresistible Signature 1:1 OfferFive simple steps to crafting a premium 1:1 offer your ideal clients are ready to say yes to.🧘 Passionate & Prosperous Manifestation Toolkit ($47)An exclusive toolkit featuring a 52-card affirmation deck and a guided journal with custom prompts to help you align, manifest, and take intentional action.Get Full Show Notes, Event Sign Ups and More Information Here:http://www.staceybrassrussell.com/podcast

Ep 219 | Why You're Not Making More Money in Your Coaching or Service-Based Business (And How to Fix It)
If you own your own business, there is exactly one way to make money: you have to sell something. And yet, some of the smartest, most passionate, most talented people I know are doing everything but that — and wondering why the revenue isn't reflecting the work they're putting in. I've been in so many conversations lately, both on the show and off it, with business owners at every stage — people just starting out, people already at six figures, people who have been at this for years — and the same patterns keep showing up. These are not beginner problems. These are business problems. And they are fixable. What I've come to understand is that making more money is never only a mindset issue and never only a strategy issue. It is always both. The actions you're not taking and the beliefs that are keeping you from taking them are working together to keep you exactly where you are. I've built my entire business on high-ticket, high-touch, relational work — one-on-one coaching and my group program, The Passionate and Prosperous Academy — and what I see stopping people from growing isn't a lack of talent or a bad offer. It's a handful of specific, nameable things that most people don't even realize they're doing. In this episode, I'm laying out five of them. I'm not holding back, and I'm not being gentle about it — because I'd rather you hear the truth from me than spend another year spinning in the same loop.Reasons to tune in:The mistake that happens before you even create your offer — and why it's quietly capping your income before you've given the market a chance to tell you anythingWhy trying to automate your way to more revenue might be the very thing killing your salesWhat you're actually doing (and not doing) when you tell yourself you don't want to be pushy or salesyThe business model conversation that most coaches and service providers are not having — and why it matters more than your marketingThe internal shift that has to happen before any of the strategy will work — and what it means to truly see sales as serviceIf you want to take everything in this episode and put it into action live with me, I'm hosting a free three-day training — How to Sell Coaching Anytime, Anywhere (And Actually Love Doing It!) — April 28–30, 2026. Ep 218 | [Coaching Episode] From Doing More to Converting More: Turning Leads into Clients with Elise Armitage
Coaching episodes are some of my favorites to record because what you get to witness is a real conversation — not a polished presentation, not a perfectly packaged lesson, but the actual moment where something clicks for someone. And in this episode, there's a really good click. My guest is Elise Armitage, an OG content creator and travel and lifestyle influencer who has been in this industry for 14 years. She left a career in branding and events at Google to run her blog What The Fab full time, and about a year ago launched What The Fab Media — a wedding and event content creation business based in Napa Valley.Elise came into this conversation feeling something I think a lot of you will recognize: she was stretched thin, generating real momentum, full of ideas about what else she could be doing — more platforms, a blog, Pinterest, a new lead magnet, an agency model — and yet something still wasn't quite clicking the way she wanted it to.What we uncovered together is that Elise didn't have a marketing problem. She had a conversion and connection problem. The leads were coming in. What wasn't happening was the kind of nurturing, follow-up, and human touchpoints that actually close a high-ticket, high-trust sale. And when you're talking about being present at someone's wedding — arguably the most emotionally significant day of their lives — that's about as high-touch as it gets.We also got into something that comes up a lot with business owners who are genuinely talented at what they do: she was selling the service when she should have been selling herself. Her eye, her point of view, her 14 years of experience, her personality — those are what people are actually paying for. The clients who booked her fastest already knew that intuitively. The work is making sure everyone else feels it too. Here's what you'll get from tuning in:Why feeling scattered and stretched thin is often a signal that you're in "add more" mode when what you actually need is to optimize what's already workingHow to tell the difference between a marketing problem and a conversion problem — and why that distinction completely changes where you put your energyWhat it looks like when your lead magnet is attracting the wrong person at the wrong stage, and how to think about building something that meets people where they actually areWhy high-touch, human follow-up is non-negotiable in a high-ticket service business — and how to build it into your process without it feeling like chasingHow to stop selling your service category and start selling you — your gifts, your perspective, the thing that genuinely cannot be replicatedA conversation about platform strategy and where searchable platforms fit into a lead generation ecosystemElise walked away from this conversation with something I think you'll feel too — not a longer to-do list, but a clearer lens. The question she came in asking was what should I be doing that I'm not doing? And the answer, as it so often is, had nothing to do with doing more.Connect with EliseInstagram: @wtfab and @wtfabmediaWebsites: https://www.whatthefab.com and https://weddings.whatthefab.com/🔗 Ways to Work With Stacey & Free Resources✨ Save your seat for How to Sell Coaching Anytime, Anywhere (And Actually Love Doing It!): A free 3-day event for coaches, teachers and experts who want to turn conversations into clients, make confident offers, and convert from the stage — without funnels, scripts, or feeling salesy.💚 1:1 Coaching & MastermindBook your free Ultimate Impact Blueprint Session to explore private coaching or mastermind support and take your life and business to the next level.🌟 Passionate & Prosperous AcademyJoin the Academy for coaching, mentorship, and community designed to help you build and grow a transformational business without ads or complicated funnels—just powerful offers, relationships, and live delivery.📈 Free Resource: High-Converting Event PlaybookLearn how to create masterclasses, workshops, and talks that actually lead to clients (not crickets).💻 Free Mini-Course: Your Irresistible Signature 1:1 OfferFive simple steps to crafting a premium 1:1 offer your ideal clients are ready to say yes to.🧘 Passionate & Prosperous Manifestation Toolkit ($47)An exclusive toolkit featuring a 52-card affirmation deck and a guided journal with custom prompts to help you align, manifest, and take intentional action.Get Full Show Notes, Event Sign Ups and More Information Here:http://www.staceybrassrussell.com/podcast

Ep 217 | People Do Want Transformation (Don't Let Anyone Tell You Otherwise)
In this behind-the-scenes episode, I'm pulling back the curtain on some real-time stuff I'm working on in my business right now.One of the things I started this show to do — and what I pride myself on — was to always come in here and tell the truth. To share the real deal of what it's like to grow a business, fulfill your purpose, make things happen, build the life you want, and most importantly — get to do the work you are meant to be doing in the world and get paid for it. I have always been here for the creatives, the coaches, the transformation junkies, the personal growth people — the ones who GET it.In this episode I'm bringing you up to date on what I've been working on, where I'm headed, and how I'm doing it. I have always been someone who values investing in working with people, experts, getting coached — AND I have had the experience many times that other people's opinions aren't always the right ones for me. As I am in a process of evolving in what I want to be doing and how I want to be showing up, I've been having a lot of conversations — and here's the good news: at my core, I am still here for what I have always been here for. Transformation. It hasn't changed.Tune in as I walk you through a recent epiphany I had after working with an expert on keynote speaking and core messaging — and how I was reminded of something I have taught on this show and to my clients more times than I can count: you can't be for everyone, and that's okay. I'm doubling down on what I know I am here to do and sticking with my intuition. But I'm also pulling back the curtain on the discomfort and growing pains we inevitably go through every single time we are ready to uplevel — in our businesses, our lives — and what it actually takes to do it.In this episode, I'm talking about:What it really means when you start feeling restless, plateaued, or like something needs to shift — and why it's actually the invitation you've been waiting forWhy all growth is uncomfortable — and how to stop making that mean something is wrongThe experience I had working with an outside expert that sent me into a total tailspin of self-doubt — and how I found my way back to myself and what I know to be trueWhy evolving does NOT mean burning it all down — and why staying true to the heart of what you do is everythingWhat it looks like to trust yourself when someone else doesn't get what you do — and how that moment can actually make you more grounded in your purpose than everWhy personal growth and transformation aren't woo — they are the most real, tangible, legitimate work there isWhat transformation really is, why we as human beings are uniquely wired for it, and why I am doubling down on that message no matter whatIf you are a coach, teacher, or service-based business owner who knows they are meant for more and is ready to stop making that feeling wrong — this episode is going to hit. The discomfort you feel when you are growing is not a red flag. That's the work. Ep 216 | [Coaching Episode] How to Get Unstuck and Find Your Next Business Move with Jessie Kwak
Coaching episodes are some of my favorites to record — and if the messages I get are any indication, they're some of yours to listen to. There's something that happens in a real, unscripted coaching conversation that you just can’t do in advance. I have no idea what the person is going to need at the moment and that’s what makes these conversations so authentic to what coaching really is! Just an actual human working through something real, in real time, with all the honest uncertainty and genuine clarity that comes with it.In this episode, I'm joined by my friend Jessie Kwak — author, ghostwriter, and story coach — who came to this conversation at what I'd call a true pivot moment in her business. Jessie had built a successful ghostwriting practice, one that grew almost entirely through reputation and referrals, and yet something needed to change. The work she was doing could only scale so far, and she was ready to figure out what came next. She just didn't know which path to take — and that not-knowing was starting to feel like something was wrong with her. (Spoiler: nothing was wrong with her.)What unfolded was one of those sessions where things start to click, one by one. We got into her business model, her natural gifts, and the real difference between being confused about your next move and being bad at what you do. By the end, Jessie went from feeling like she was standing in a field full of unclear game trails to having one obvious path forward. If you've ever been at that exact crossroads — good at your work, ready for more, but genuinely unsure how to make the leap — this one is going to land.In this episode:Why confusion about your next business move has nothing to do with whether you're actually good at what you do — and why collapsing those two things together makes everything harderThe "one sun" business model concept and why everything in your business needs to revolve around one clear center offerWhy narrowing down to a specific niche isn't limiting — and why the fear that your audience is "too small" is usually the thing keeping you stuckWhy starting one-to-one — even when you're dreaming of a group program — is actually the move that sets you up for long-term successHow to build your offer around what your client actually needs to get results, and then charge accordingly — instead of building it around how little access you want to giveWhat boundaries in business actually mean, and how knowing your own needs shapes your offers in ways that work for everyoneWhen Jessie came into this conversation, she was standing at a crossroads that so many of us know well — good at the work, ready for the next chapter, but genuinely unsure which direction to walk. By the time we wrapped, the path was clear. That's what coaching can do. And if anything in this episode cracked something open for you too, I hope you'll let us know. You can connect with Jessie on Instagram and at www.story-rebel.com. 🔗 Ways to Work With Stacey & Free Resources💚 1:1 Coaching & MastermindBook your free Ultimate Impact Blueprint Session to explore private coaching or mastermind support and take your life and business to the next level.🌟 Passionate & Prosperous AcademyJoin the Academy for coaching, mentorship, and community designed to help you build and grow a transformational business without ads or complicated funnels—just powerful offers, relationships, and live delivery.📈 Free Resource: High-Converting Event PlaybookLearn how to create masterclasses, workshops, and talks that actually lead to clients (not crickets).💻 Free Mini-Course: Your Irresistible Signature 1:1 OfferFive simple steps to crafting a premium 1:1 offer your ideal clients are ready to say yes to.🧘 Passionate & Prosperous Manifestation Toolkit ($47)An exclusive toolkit featuring a 52-card affirmation deck and a guided journal with custom prompts to help you align, manifest, and take intentional action.Get Full Show Notes, Event Sign Ups and More Information Here:http://www.staceybrassrussell.com/podcast

Ep 215 | Why Doubling Down on Human Connection Is Your Biggest Business Advantage Right Now
If you've been hearing that live launches are dead, that nobody wants to invest in high-ticket offers anymore, and that the way you've been building your business just isn't working — this episode is going to feel like a relief. Because I just closed a high five-figure launch in February with a small audience selling high-ticket coaching, and I did it the same way I've done everything in my business: through genuine, real, human connection.Full disclosure — I was prompted to make this episode after seeing a well-known business coach declare his “brand new groundbreaking framework” that was going to be a game changer for coaches everywhere. And when it turned out to basically be "human connection," I wanted to cry. Because human connection is what I have been preaching and teaching for years. So naturally, I had to get on the mic and talk about it!In this episode I'm going back to my roots and talking about how being an actor, a yoga teacher, and a coach all have key things in common — they all have to do with human connection and even more so, human transformation. And that's really the heart of what I want you to understand: transformation isn't just what happens when someone becomes your client. It's what has to happen throughout the entire sales process. The way someone decides to invest in working with you, the moment they say yes, the trust they build with you before they ever hand over a dollar — all of that is transformation. And it only happens through real human connection. I'm making the full case for why that is your single biggest business advantage right now, getting specific about what genuinely high-touch looks like behind the scenes during a launch, and talking about the long game — why the person who didn't say yes at your last launch isn't a lost cause, why consistent human follow-up is where real revenue lives, and why treating your business like a series of transactions instead of a series of relationships is the thing that's actually killing results. In this episode, I talk about:Why live launching and high-ticket offers are far from dead — and what's actually driving results for the businesses that are thriving right nowWhy transformation doesn't begin when someone becomes your client — it begins the moment they enter your worldWhat genuinely high-touch looks like behind the scenes during a launch — and what I'm doing every single day while one is unfoldingWhy the person who didn't say yes at your last event or launch isn't gone — and how to stay in relationship with them until they're readyThe long game of human follow-up and why it's where real revenue livesThe crucial difference between cold outreach and warm human connection — and why one builds a business while the other doesn'tIf you're a coach, teacher, or service-based business owner who has been second-guessing your model because of all the noise out there, this episode is your permission slip to stop listening to it — and your roadmap for doubling down on what actually works.🔗 Ways to Work With Stacey & Free Resources💚 1:1 Coaching & MastermindBook your free Ultimate Impact Blueprint Session to explore private coaching or mastermind support and take your life and business to the next level.🌟 Passionate & Prosperous AcademyJoin the Academy for coaching, mentorship, and community designed to help you build and grow a transformational business without ads or complicated funnels—just powerful offers, relationships, and live delivery.📈 Free Resource: High-Converting Event PlaybookLearn how to create masterclasses, workshops, and talks that actually lead to clients (not crickets).💻 Free Mini-Course: Your Irresistible Signature 1:1 OfferFive simple steps to crafting a premium 1:1 offer your ideal clients are ready to say yes to.🧘 Passionate & Prosperous Manifestation Toolkit ($47)An exclusive toolkit featuring a 52-card affirmation deck and a guided journal with custom prompts to help you align, manifest, and take intentional action.Get Full Show Notes, Event Sign Ups and More Information Here:http://www.staceybrassrussell.com/podcast

Ep 214 | Why the Act of Writing Is Your Most Powerful Business Practice with Terri Trespicio
One of the things I talk about a lot on this show is how much writing we discover we have to do when we start our businesses. Nobody warns you about this. You get excited about your thing — your coaching, your expertise, your offer — and then you realize that getting people to know you exist requires words. Everywhere. All the time. And most of us, when that hits, immediately decide we're not writers. That's exactly why I wanted to bring Terri Trespicio on the show.Terri is someone I spotted from across a room before I ever officially met her — days before the pandemic, at a Luminary event in New York City — and I was instantly obsessed. If you don't know Terri yet, she's the author of Unfollow Your Passion, her TEDx Talk has been viewed over 8 million times, and she is one of the most compelling, funny, and genuinely wise people I know when it comes to helping people find and use their voice. Years of persistence (and a few missed Instagram DMs) later, we're actual friends. And this conversation did not disappoint. Here's what I want you to really hear before you press play: the reason you think you can't write? It's not the truth. It's conditioning. And Terri explains it in a way that I think is going to genuinely change how you see yourself. We got into why writing feels so hard for so many of us, and why it has almost nothing to do with whether you're "a writer." We talked about the inner critic, what's really going on when you stare at a blank page, and the sneaky ways we try to outsource the one thing we actually can't. We also got into AI, templates, and what it really means to show up consistently for your audience in a way that actually sounds like you.If you've been avoiding the blank page or struggling to find your voice in your business, this one is going to feel like a deep exhale.Listen to this episode to find out:What's really behind your resistance to writing (it's not what you think)Why outsourcing your writing might be costing you more than it's saving youThe mindset shift that makes content creation feel less like a grindWhat Terri means when she says creativity is weather — not lightningHow to use AI without losing your voice in the processWhy templates might actually be working against you📖 Book rec from this episode: Writing Down the Bones by Natalie GoldbergAbout Terri TrespicioTerri is the author of Unfollow Your Passion: How to Create a Life That Matters to You and her TEDx Talk, "Stop Searching for Your Passion," has been viewed more than 8 million times. Ep 213 | [Coaching Episode] How to Raise Your Price and Actually Say It Out Loud with Zhara-Marie Henry
In this episode of Passionate & Prosperous, I'm joined by Zhara-Marie Henry, founder of ZMN Co., an online operations agency that helps established coaches and consultants increase capacity and revenue through manageable, scalable operations — without constant founder intervention. This is a real-time coaching session episode. Zhara came in knowing her numbers, believing in her offer, and ready to raise her rates — so why couldn't she do it? What we uncovered in this conversation is something I think a lot of you are going to recognize in yourselves. If you've ever done all the right things to justify a higher price and still felt frozen when it came time to say the number — this episode is for you.In this episode, we discuss:What's really going on when you know your value but still can't say the priceThe brain habit that makes us cap our own rates before our clients ever get the chance toWhy the identity shift you think you need might not be what's actually missingWhat you need to believe about yourself, your clients, and the world to charge moreHow to refine your messaging when you're calling in a more growth-driven, mission-led clientWhy the first time you say a higher number is the hardest — and what changes after you doFollow Zhara on Instagram and Threads @zeetheobm and on YouTube at Zhara-Marie.Download Zhara's free Home Run Systems guide here.🔗 Ways to Work With Stacey & Free Resources💚 1:1 Coaching & MastermindBook your free Ultimate Impact Blueprint Session to explore private coaching or mastermind support and take your life and business to the next level.🌟 Passionate & Prosperous AcademyJoin the Academy for coaching, mentorship, and community designed to help you build and grow a transformational business without ads or complicated funnels—just powerful offers, relationships, and live delivery.📈 Free Resource: High-Converting Event PlaybookLearn how to create masterclasses, workshops, and talks that actually lead to clients (not crickets).💻 Free Mini-Course: Your Irresistible Signature 1:1 OfferFive simple steps to crafting a premium 1:1 offer your ideal clients are ready to say yes to.🧘 Passionate & Prosperous Manifestation Toolkit ($47)An exclusive toolkit featuring a 52-card affirmation deck and a guided journal with custom prompts to help you align, manifest, and take intentional action.Get Full Show Notes, Event Sign Ups and More Information Here:http://www.staceybrassrussell.com/podcast

Ep 212 | The 5 Things Running in the Background of Every Successful Business
I recorded this episode fresh off the heels of wrapping my Profitable Coaching Business Bootcamp — a six-day live event I run a couple of times a year — and I'm still buzzing. Not just because we welcomed five incredible new members into the Passionate & Prosperous Academy and a brand new one-on-one client, but because every single time I do this bootcamp, I come away with the same powerful reminder: this is all an inner game.Yes, I teach strategy in the bootcamp. You need a niche, a clear offer, a content plan, and the ability to have conversations that convert. That stuff matters. But what I know after years of doing this work — and what I'd be completely remiss not to tell you — is that strategy alone will never be enough. You need two operating systems running simultaneously: the operating system of your business and your own inner operating system as a human being. And here's the truth: your inner OS is the one that actually determines your success. So in this episode, I'm breaking down the five essential qualities your inner operating system must be running on — and I promise at least one of them will completely reframe how you've been thinking about your own success. Like, did you know that confidence isn't actually something you can build directly? It's a byproduct of something else entirely. Or that the urgency you feel about growing your business might be the exact thing that's sabotaging it?These aren't mindset buzzwords. Think of them as muscles — things you can build, strengthen, and upgrade with intentional, daily practice. And the beautiful (and tricky) part? You can only develop them by taking action. You have to build the plane while you're flying it.Key TakeawaysBusiness success requires two operating systems: your business strategy AND your inner OS as a human beingThere are 5 inner OS essentials — and they're not what you think (tune in to find out!)Confidence is a byproduct of something else entirely — you can't shortcut itUrgency fueled by scarcity will sabotage your growth before you even get startedThese qualities are muscles — they need support, coaching, and daily practice to strengthenYou don't work on your inner OS before taking action — you develop it by taking actionThis is the work that never really ends — and honestly, that's the beauty of it. Every new level you reach is just an invitation to upgrade again. So wherever you are right now, know that the inner work and the outer work are happening at the same time, and that is exactly as it should be. You've got this. Ep 211 | Rewiring Your Relationship to Money: Identity, Journaling, and The Science of Getting Rich with Edward Vilga
In this episode of Passionate & Prosperous, I’m joined by Edward Vilga to talk about his new book, The Science of Getting Rich Journal.Edward took the original 1910 prosperity classic, The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles, and created a 40-day guided journal designed to help readers actively apply its principles. Instead of simply reading about wealth, gratitude, faith, and creative thinking, this journal turns those ideas into a structured daily practice. Our conversation centers on identity and wealth — and why mindset and belief systems must come before strategy. We talk about the difference between passive manifestation and aligned action, and why visualization without follow-through isn’t enough. Edward shares the neuroscience behind journaling and how consistent reflection can help rewire the brain, increase clarity, and shift long-held patterns around money. In this episode, we discuss:How Edward transformed a classic prosperity text into a practical, action-oriented journalWhy identity and belief shape your ability to create wealthThe difference between passive manifestation and aligned actionThe neuroscience behind journaling and brain rewiringGratitude as a foundation for abundanceCreative mindset vs. competitive mindsetWhy repetition and structure (like a 40-day practice) support real transformationStrengthening your relationship to money without shame or guiltIf you’re building a business, leading clients, or working to strengthen your own relationship with money, this episode offers a grounded framework for thinking about prosperity differently. Wealth, as we discuss it here, isn’t about quick fixes. Ep 210 | Scale Solo: The Smarter Way to Grow Your Expert-Led Business with Pia Silva
If you’ve been questioning what “scaling” is supposed to look like for an expert-led business, this conversation will bring a lot of clarity. In this episode of Passionate & Prosperous, I’m joined by my friend, Pia Silva, founder of No BS Mastery, longtime business strategist, and author of Badass Your Brand, with a new book, Scale Solo, coming out soon.Pia has spent more than 15 years helping consultants, coaches, and boutique agencies build highly profitable businesses with small or no teams. She’s coached hundreds of business owners, and what she teaches is refreshingly clear, grounded, and practical. In our conversation, we dig into what it actually means to scale as an expert-led business — not the internet version of scaling, but the real decisions behind offers, pricing, confidence, and business models that create sustainable growth. We talk about how to build a business that works because it’s designed intentionally — not because you’re chasing trends, adding complexity, or following someone else’s definition of success.Pia and I both share some behind-the-scenes of our businesses – what it feels like when we’re going through an evolution and period of growth, how we’ve made certain decisions and choices around our offers and what we’re creating and the reality of how our businesses often reflect the seasons of our lives. If you’re a service-based business owner who wants to grow with clarity, confidence, and ease, this episode is for you.In This Episode, We Talk About:What most people get wrong about scaling service-based businessesHow to design a business model that works with a small or no teamWhy selling outcomes changes both your confidence and your revenueThe role decisive action plays in building authorityHow looking at the right numbers can simplify everythingPia’s upcoming book, Scale Solo, breaks down her approach to building a profitable, streamlined business — one that prioritizes expertise, simplicity, and sustainability. After you listen, consider this:What would scaling look like if it were designed around your expertise instead of someone else’s rules?Follow Pia on Instagram and listen to the No BS Mastery Podcast. Ep 209 | What You’re Really Selling in Your Coaching or Service-Based Business (and What You’re Not)
If money feels harder than it “should” right now, this episode is your reset: you don’t have a marketing problem, you have an offer clarity problem. In this conversation, I’m breaking down the foundational truth that changes everything in your coaching or service-based business: you can’t sell what you can’t name. And I know that sounds basic. But I’m telling you, after talking to business owners every single day, this is the pattern I see over and over again: people think they need better messaging, more leads, a stronger launch, or “visibility.”Meanwhile they can’t clearly answer one question:What are you selling?I also share how my background teaching yoga shaped the way I understand offers: one class doesn’t change your life, but a practice does. And your business needs to be positioned the same way.If you’ve been feeling stuck, fuzzy, or like your business should be working better than it is, listen to this episode. It will help you stop spinning and start selling what you’re actually here to do.Because your next level isn’t hiding in another funnel. It’s hiding in the question you’ve been avoiding. In This Episode, I Talk About:Why revenue doesn’t feel “easy” when you’re unclear on what you’re actually selling The difference between selling a modality vs. selling a transformationHow most coaches and business owners are misdiagnosing their “problem”Why people won’t invest time, energy, or money if they can’t picture the outcome they’re buyingWhy specificity isn’t a “niche trap” What “profitable” actually means in terms of business modelsHow values-driven businesses can lead right now, creating spaces of love, safety, and belonging when people need it most.If you’ve ever found yourself asking “why does making money feel so hard right now?”, pop your earbuds in and give this one a listen. And if you want help getting clear on it, come join me inside the Profitable Coaching Business Bootcamp (week of February 9). Ep 208 | Why Coaching & Teaching Skills Matter More Than Ever In Your Business (and not just for coaches)
In this episode of Passionate & Prosperous, I’m diving into one of the things I care about most — and honestly, one of the biggest reasons I believe so many service-based businesses struggle to grow or convert right now.If you work with human beings (coaches, teachers, healers, creatives, experts, facilitators, consultants… this means you), you must understand how people actually make decisions, learn, change, and say yes to transformation. This episode is all about why coaching and teaching skills aren’t just for delivery — they’re the foundation of attraction, sales, and results.I’m breaking down what’s really happening inside the human brain and nervous system when someone is considering change, investing money, or committing to a new outcome — and why no script, funnel, or “perfect messaging” can replace true coaching mastery. We talk about why objections aren’t something to “handle,” why information alone doesn’t create transformation, and why being great at what you do isn’t enough if you don’t know how to help people actually move. This conversation was inspired by real conversations with clients and colleagues, and what I’m seeing across the coaching and online business space right now — especially in a market where trust, discernment, and results matter more than ever.If you want to build a business that feels ethical, sustainable, and genuinely effective — where people don’t just buy, but actually change — this episode is for you.In this episode, we explore:Why understanding human behavior is essential if you sell transformationHow resistance and objections actually work (and why scripts don’t)The difference between learning information and creating real outcomesWhy coaching and teaching skills impact attraction, sales, and deliveryHow people decide to invest — and what they really need to feel safe saying yesWhy “being good at marketing” isn’t enough if you can’t deliver resultsHow embodied expertise builds trust faster than tactics ever willThis episode is an invitation to raise the bar — not just in how you market or sell, but in how you serve, lead, and create change.Because businesses that last aren’t built on hacks. They’re built on skill, integrity, and knowing what your clients really need to get the results, outcomes and change they are looking for.If you want to learn more about what it takes to have a profitable coaching business, make sure to sign up for the free Profitable Coaching Business Bootcamp here. Ep 207 | Coaching Session: Clarifying Your Niche, Messaging & Unfair Advantage with Michael Barnes
In this special coaching episode of Passionate & Prosperous, I coach Michael Barnes, a certified health and life coach in the early stages of building his coaching business.Michael came into the session wanting clarity around three things:where to focus his limited time and energy while working a full-time job, how to talk about his work without sounding “coachy,” and what it really looks like to embody being a coach — not turn it on and off depending on the room. What unfolded was a layered, honest coaching conversation where we got to the heart of what Michael actually does, who he’s uniquely positioned to help, and why his lived experience gives him what I call an unfair advantage — even if he hasn’t fully been using it yet. You’ll hear Michael have real-time breakthroughs around his messaging, his ideal client, and why people are already drawn to him — not because of his certifications, but because of who he is, how he lives, and the life he’s actively creating. We also talk about why clients don’t hire coaches because of polished language or perfect positioning — they hire us because they see us being, doing, or having something they want for themselves. And why sharing your story, your evolution, and your perspective isn’t optional if you want your work to land.In this episode, we cover:Why it’s important to know what outcomes and results your clients are really looking for (and not just what you think they want)How to stop hiding behind “coach language” and start speaking in a way that calls in your ideal clientsHow to leverage your unfair advantage — and why it’s a key to knowing your nicheWhat it really means to embody your work instead of trying to switch it on for marketingWhy people are drawn to coaches who are visibly living what they teachHow specificity (not being vague or universal) makes your message more powerfulMaking intentional choices about visibility and connection when you don’t have unlimited timeThis episode is a powerful reminder that business growth isn’t driven by finding the perfect script, niche sentence, or marketing formula. They’re built by developing your skills, taking action before you feel “ready,” and letting your lived experience lead the way.🔗 Ways to Work With Stacey & Free Resources💚 1:1 Coaching & MastermindBook your free Ultimate Impact Blueprint Session to explore private coaching or mastermind support and take your life and business to the next level.🌟 Passionate & Prosperous AcademyJoin the Academy for coaching, mentorship, and community designed to help you build and grow a transformational business without ads or complicated funnels—just powerful offers, relationships, and live delivery.📈 Free Resource: High-Converting Event PlaybookLearn how to create masterclasses, workshops, and talks that actually lead to clients (not crickets).💻 Free Mini-Course: Your Irresistible Signature 1:1 OfferFive simple steps to crafting a premium 1:1 offer your ideal clients are ready to say yes to.🧘 Passionate & Prosperous Manifestation Toolkit ($47)An exclusive toolkit featuring a 52-card affirmation deck and a guided journal with custom prompts to help you align, manifest, and take intentional action.Get Full Show Notes, Event Sign Ups and More Information Here:http://www.staceybrassrussell.com/podcast

Ep 206 | What If You’re Not Behind? Rethinking Time, Momentum, and the Story You’re Telling Yourself
Time is a construct and if you ask me, it’s magical. But, for so many people, managing time (and the lack of it) is incredibly stressful. If you’ve been telling yourself that you’re behind, that you lost momentum, or that something went wrong because you slowed down- this episode is for you.Today, I’m diving into one of the most common (and quietly destructive) patterns I see with entrepreneurs: turning time into proof that something is wrong with us.We replay the past, obsess about the future, and label ourselves “stuck” when we don’t know what to do next. And all the while, time itself stays exactly the same.In this episode, I break down why “I’m stuck” almost always just means “I don’t know what I should be doing,” how rest and pleasure get mislabeled as procrastination, and why you are the one who decided how long things are supposed to take in the first place.I also share personal examples from taking time off, to nourishing myself with art and beauty, to very real moments of procrastination and the questions I use to interrupt the spiral when I start questioning my pace, my progress, or myself. If you’ve been using time as a weapon against yourself, this episode will help you put it down.In This Episode, I Talk About:Why our brains struggle to stay in the present momentHow entrepreneurs make up timelines and then punish themselves for themThe difference between changing pace and losing momentumWhy not knowing what to do doesn’t mean you’re stuckTime, energy, and money as our three core resourcesHow rest, pleasure, and beauty actually support sustainable successThree powerful questions to reset your relationship with timeA reframe I want you to sit with: what if you’re always right on time?Get Full Show Notes, Event Sign Ups and More Information Here:http://www.staceybrassrussell.com/podcast

Ep 205 | Why “Value” Isn’t What Sells Anymore and How to Write Emails People Actually Want with Laura Belgray
In this episode of Passionate & Prosperous, I’m sitting down with my friend Laura Belgray — OG in the online business world, Queen of storytelling, founder of Talking Shrimp, and author of Tough Titties — for a conversation that covers a lot of ground (on purpose!)Yes, we talk about email marketing — why your email list still matters, why emails don’t have to be boring or “salesy,” and how selling to your list can feel normal, relational, and very human. But I also wanted to give Laura the space to really share how she built her Passionate & Prosperous life and business. We get the inside scoop on Laura’s business evolution: what it was like in the early days of the online business space, figuring things out as she went, creating offers by listening closely to what people were responding to, and building a business by taking action, trusting her instincts, and being unapologetically herself. We also talk a lot about writing and storytelling and Laura shares her perspective on finding your voice, showing the journey as it unfolds, and why your emails (and content overall) get to sound like a real person wrote them. Frequency, consistency, trust, connection — it’s all part of the same ecosystem. If you care about building a business around what you’re actually good at, creating opportunities instead of waiting for permission, and leaning into relationships as a growth strategy, you’ll get a lot out of this one.In this episode, we talk about:Laura’s business evolution and what it really looked like to build as she wentThe early days of online business (and learning by doing)Why email lists are still one of the most valuable assets you haveSelling to your email list without making it weirdStorytelling, voice, and being unapologetically yourself in your writingHow consistency and frequency build familiarity and trustCreating offers by paying attention to real audience responseIn classic Passionate & Prosperous style, this episode is a reminder that there’s no formula for building a great business — it’s built by showing up, experimenting, trusting and being willing to take action before you know “how” it’s all going to turn out!Join Laura in NYC for her Bingeworthy Live Writing Retreat March 22 and 23, 2026!You can also connect with Laura through her website and on Instagram.Get Full Show Notes, Event Sign Ups and More Information Here.🔗 Ways to Work With Stacey & Free Resources💚 1:1 Coaching & MastermindBook your free Ultimate Impact Blueprint Session to explore private coaching or mastermind support and take your life and business to the next level.🌟 Passionate & Prosperous Academy Join the Academy for coaching, mentorship, and community designed to help you build and grow a transformational business without ads or complicated funnels—just powerful offers, relationships, and live delivery.📈 Free Resource: High-Converting Event PlaybookLearn how to create masterclasses, workshops, and talks that actually lead to clients (not crickets).💻 Free Mini-Course: Your Irresistible Signature 1:1 OfferFive simple steps to crafting a premium 1:1 offer your ideal clients are ready to say yes to.🧘 Passionate & Prosperous Manifestation Toolkit ($47)An exclusive toolkit featuring a 52-card affirmation deck and a guided journal with custom prompts to help you align, manifest, and take intentional action.

Ep 203 | Building a Right-Sized Business (and Scaling What Matters Most) with Amber Lilyestrom
This episode is a special collab conversation with my friend and fellow business mentor, Amber Lilyestrom — business coach, speaker, host of the Homeward podcast, and author/poet behind little big beautiful things and Master Your Money Mind. We’re talking about what it really means to build a right-sized, human-centric business in an industry that’s constantly pushing “bigger, faster, more.”Amber and I dig into scrappy entrepreneurship, high-touch containers, and designing offers that honor both your clients’ transformation and the actual life you want to be living. She shares candidly about her journey from traditional online business models into something more intimate, sustainable, and values-aligned, and we unpack what it looks like to scale what matters most instead of chasing every version of “more.”We also explore multidimensionality in your brand—letting all of who you are come through in your work—and how that impacts congruence, magnetism, money, and the way clients experience you.In this episode, we talk about:What a right-sized, human-centric business looks like in real life (beyond the buzzwords)Why high-touch, intimate containers can be more sustainable and satisfying than large, low-touch programsThe realities behind “scaling,” low-ticket launches, memberships, and volume-based models—and what most people don’t see behind the scenesHow Amber thinks about scaling what matters most: her clients’ outcomes, her creativity, her time, and her energyHow both of our backgrounds (Broadway and yoga studios for me, early scrappy entrepreneurship and big launches for Amber) shaped the way we think about business, money, and impactLetting yourself be the heart of the business instead of trying to disappear behind systems, funnels, or “passive” everythingMultidimensionality in a personal brand—bringing your creativity, quirks, and other passions into your work instead of keeping everything compartmentalizedWhy the work of helping clients make money and grow their businesses goes far beyond strategy and into identity, mindset, and who you’re willing to be as the leader of your businessIf you’ve been craving real talk about business models, “scaling,” sustainability, and building something that actually feels like you, this conversation will feel like a deep exhale and a powerful reminder that you’re allowed to build a right-sized business that scales what matters most to you.Connect with Amber on Instagram at @amberlilyestrom, listen to her podcast Homeward, and check out her poetry collection little big beautiful things and her program ELEVATE.Get Full Show Notes, Event Sign Ups and More Information Here:http://www.staceybrassrussell.com/podcast

Ep 202 | Everything Is Content: What You Need to Create for a Passionate & Prosperous 2026
As we move toward the end of the year, many of us are in reflection and vision mode—looking back at what 2025 has been and thinking ahead to what we want 2026 to look and feel like in our businesses and lives. In this episode, I’m talking about one of the most important (and often misunderstood) pieces of that conversation: content creation.I break down what “content” really is for a transformational, service-based business—not just posts on social media, not just a reel here and there—and why, going into 2026, you’re going to need content that is deeper, more intentional, and more aligned with your genius than ever before. We look at content as the foundation of your marketing, business strategy, and client attraction, and get honest about the kind of content you actually need if you want to grow a sustainable, prosperous coaching business.I also talk about the difference between paying for leads with ads and building your business through organic visibility, and why—even if you love the idea of “using other people’s audiences”—you still need your own thought leadership, frameworks, and offers to stand on.You’ll hear me connect this to my Yellow Brick Road client attraction system (ATTRACT–SERVE–CONVERT) and to my Genius Edge framework, because at the end of the day, everything from your offers to your workshops, talks, podcast, and live events is content. If you want 2026 to be different from 2025 in terms of revenue, reach, and impact, you’re going to have to create different content to get you there. In this episode, we explore:The difference between paid lead generation (ads) and organic visibility—and what that actually looks like in a coaching / service-based businessWhy reels and social media posts alone are not a content or client attraction strategy, especially if you sell higher-ticket, high-touch servicesHow to think about offers as content, and why your offer needs to be a sexy, transformational journey (not just a list of sessions or modules)The role of high-value, longer-form content—talks, workshops, masterclasses, podcasts, live events—in building authority, trust, and real relationships with your ideal clientsHow your content strategy supports my Yellow Brick Road framework (ATTRACT–SERVE–CONVERT) at every step of your client pathway, from first touch to “yes”A simple reverse-engineering process to look at what you want in 2026 (income, visibility, lifestyle, impact) and identify the content you’ll need to create to make it possibleWhy 2026 will require you to “up-level” both your content game and your delivery skills—and how this connects to Your Genius Edge and my upcoming Serve & Deliver programThis episode is here to help you see your business through the lens of content: your offers, your message, your visibility, your thought leadership, your live experiences, and the way you invite people into your world. If you’re dreaming bigger for 2026, this conversation will help you get honest about what you’ll need to create—and how to start mapping that out now.Get Full Show Notes, Event Sign Ups and More Information Here:http://www.staceybrassrussell.com/podcast

Ep 201 | Coaching Session: Clarifying Caryn’s Offers, Workshops + Client Pathway in Her Midlife Coaching Business
We’re back with one of the most loved formats on Passionate & Prosperous: a real coaching session you get to listen in on and apply to your own business. In this episode, I’m coaching Caryn Bothman, a midlife coach and founder of Midlife Mama Co., who supports women navigating the transitions of midlife, empty nests, aging parents, and the “where did I go?” feeling that so many women have at this stage. Caryn is passionate about women’s empowerment, personal development, and creating community through workshops, retreats, and in-person connection, but like many newer entrepreneurs, she’s feeling the tension between all the things she could do and what will actually build a sustainable coaching business. We dig into where to focus first, how to think strategically about one-on-one coaching vs. group programs and workshops, and what it really takes to attract clients when you don’t have a big audience yet. We talk about audience growth, list-building, lead magnets, email marketing, social media, and personal outreach, and why repetition in your messaging is not only allowed, it’s required. If you’ve ever wondered, “Should I be doing more on social? A group program? A workshop? Where do clients even come from?” this conversation is going to feel like sitting in on a private business and marketing strategy session for your own coaching practice. In this coaching session, we dive into:How to reverse engineer your business by starting with what you actually want (income, lifestyle, and how you like to work) and building your offer strategy from thereWhy it’s usually smarter to focus on one-on-one coaching first before launching group programs, memberships, and paid workshopsThe real role of workshops, talks, and live events in a profitable coaching business (and why they often work best as visibility + client attraction tools more than primary revenue streams)How to think about audience growth, lead magnets, and email list growth so you have people to invite into your offersWhy only a small percentage of your social media followers ever see your posts—and what that means about being “redundant” with your content, invitations, and calls to actionThe power of personal outreach, DM voice notes, and actual conversations in signing clients (instead of hoping a post, funnel, or sales page does all the work)How to structure discovery calls, follow-ups, and intentional communication so you’re not accidentally coaching for free and then leaving people to talk themselves out of getting supportIf you’re a coach or service-based entrepreneur in the earlier stages of your business—especially if you love the idea of in-person workshops, retreats, and community experiences—this episode will help you see the order of operations that actually creates a steady, prosperous coaching business. You’ll also hear us talk about what it looks like to build your “yellow brick road” of offers and touchpoints over time, so that everything you do—social media, email, workshops, personal outreach, and discovery calls—works together to attract, nurture, and convert the right clients in a grounded, human way.Get Full Show Notes, Event Sign Ups and More Information Here:http://www.staceybrassrussell.com/podcast

Ep 200 | 200 Episodes, 4 Years + 10 Things You Need to Know for a Sustainable, Prosperous Business in 2026 (and Beyond!)
We’re celebrating a major milestone on Passionate & Prosperous: 200 episodes and 4 years of conversations about what it really means to build a transformational, service-based business and a purposeful, prosperous life.I started this show during the pandemic, at a moment when everything in the world felt uncertain and unstable. And as I reflect back on these four years—through all the shifts in the industry, the economy, technology, visibility, marketing, and our personal lives—what stands out the most is how the core principles I believed on day one have remained completely true today. The ideas I’ve always taught about service, connection, leadership, visibility, mastery, and the long game of building a meaningful business have not changed. They aren’t tied to trends or algorithms. They are timeless foundations of sustainable, prosperous entrepreneurship—the kind that holds steady no matter what’s happening in the world around us. These philosophies are as relevant now, heading into 2026, as they were when this show began in 2020.To honor this milestone, I’m sharing 10 things I still believe deeply about business and service—concepts that have shaped this show from the beginning, supported my clients across every stage of growth, and continue to guide what it looks like to build a business that lasts. These aren’t tied to strategies or seasons; they’re the perspectives and principles that actually matter when you’re creating a sustainable, human-centered business that thrives through change. In this milestone episode, we explore:The enduring principles of transformational entrepreneurship that remain constant even as the world shiftsWhat continues to matter most in service, visibility, connection, relationship-building, and client attractionHow to stay grounded, focused, and resilient within a fast-moving, often noisy online landscapeWhy foundational philosophies always outlast tactics, trends, and algorithm-driven strategiesHow these 10 things have guided the show from its beginnings during the pandemic through every stage of evolutionThe mindset, energy, and leadership needed for long-term sustainability, growth, and prosperityWhat it really means to build a business anchored in mastery, purpose, values, and human transformationEpisode 200 is both a celebration of how far we’ve come and a reaffirmation of the deeper principles behind building a Passionate & Prosperous business. These ideas have carried this show—and this community—through four years of change, and they continue to point us toward what’s possible now, in 2026, and for many years to come.Get Full Show Notes, Event Sign Ups and More Information Here:http://www.staceybrassrussell.com/podcast

Ep 199 | Basking and Celebrating: The Business Strategy You Didn’t Know You Needed
After wrapping Passionate & Prosperous LIVE 2025—our fourth annual event—I realized something that every entrepreneur and high achiever needs to hear: basking and celebrating aren’t luxuries, they’re strategy. This week’s episode of Passionate & Prosperous is about the part of entrepreneurship that doesn’t get talked about enough—the space after the big thing. The launch, the event, the win. The part where you stop, breathe, and let yourself feel what you created before rushing into what’s next.Because when you give yourself time to celebrate and integrate your accomplishments, you’re not losing momentum—you’re actually building it. Reflection and celebration are how you leverage your results into confidence, creativity, and sustainable business growth. In this episode, I’m sharing my reflections from this year’s event and what it taught me about:Why basking and celebrating are essential to long-term successHow to reframe stress as evidence of expansion rather than something to fixThe importance of creating space for recovery, reflection, and integration in businessWhy celebration and self-care are both leadership and growth strategiesHow to build a business model that honors your energy, not just your ambitionWhether you’ve just come off a big launch, hosted an event, or reached a personal milestone, this episode will remind you that integration is momentum—and that every accomplishment deserves to be received, celebrated, and remembered.Get Full Show Notes, Event Sign Ups and More Information Here:http://www.staceybrassrussell.com/podcast

Ep 197 | You’re Not for Everyone: Showgirl Takeaways, Critics, and Showing Up
Let’s talk about something that every coach, creative, and entrepreneur secretly fears: critics and reviews. This episode was inspired by (who else?) Taylor Swift. When The Life of a Showgirl dropped last week, my feed exploded with reviews—some glowing, some downright vicious. And as I was sipping my coffee and scrolling through the noise, I found myself thinking a lot about what it means to show up, be visible, and share your work when you know not everyone’s going to like it.Because here’s the truth: they won’t.I’ve been dealing with critics since I was ten years old—starting on Broadway, where a single bad review could close a show. Then later as a yoga teacher and studio owner, reading someone’s nasty Yelp post about my class being “too alignment-based.” And now as a business and life coach, I see it every day: brilliant entrepreneurs holding themselves back because they’re scared of what someone might think. In this episode, I’m sharing:Why the fear of judgment and rejection keeps so many entrepreneurs from growing their businessWhat Taylor Swift and Billy Joel can teach us about resilience, artistry, and creative longevityThe difference between constructive critique and destructive criticism—and why most haters aren’t qualified to judge your workHow to build the mindset and self-trust that keep you grounded and confident in your businessWhy you can’t and shouldn’t be for everyone—and how niching down actually gives you more freedom and fulfillmentThe more passionate you are about your work, the scarier it can feel to put it out there. But this is me reminding you that your business will grow faster when you stop trying to please everyone and focus on the people who are truly for you.If you’ve ever struggled with visibility, rejection, or the fear of being judged, this episode will help you take a deep breath, stay in your lane, and keep showing up for the clients and community who get it.Get Full Show Notes, Event Sign Ups and More Information Here:http://www.staceybrassrussell.com/podcast

She blends creativity, clarity, and a dash of AI to help solopreneurs and small business owners craft brands that are unforgettable. You’ll hear us get real about:Why “brand” no longer just means logos, fonts and colors—and what it actually is in 2025 for coaches and experts. How to weave your lived experience, passions, and quirks into your business so you naturally stand out.Why values, trust, and customer experience are part of your brand (and how misalignment erodes credibility fast). How Kristin uses AI + her proprietary process to uncover your “signature brand” so marketing feels authentic, empowering, and human. The truth about social media and “being private in public”—and why sharing glimpses of your real life builds connection. Why creating unique, authentic offers and engaging with your audience is the key to building a strong community.Kristin also shares the story behind District Brand Bar, her “brand cocktail” approach, and the choose-your-own-adventure email experience she built so you can start exploring your own signature style. Ep 187 | What If Slow Is the Best Way to Grow Your Business?
If you’ve ever felt like you're not growing fast enough, scaling fast enough, or doing enough to make your business “take off,” this episode is for you.In this solo episode, I’m sharing what I believe to be one of the most important conversations we can have about building a sustainable, soul-aligned, human-first business: the truth about slow growth.Because here's the deal: you’re not a machine. You’re a whole person with a nervous system, a life, and responsibilities—and your business should honor that. And yet, the online business world can make it seem like if you're not hustling 24/7 or getting instant results, you're somehow failing. That’s a lie—and a harmful one. This episode is a powerful reminder that your success doesn’t have to come from burnout, urgency, or constant scrambling. In fact, when you slow down, honor your energy, and give yourself space to reflect, assess, and realign, you create a business (and life) that’s not only sustainable, but joyful and impactful. We talk about: ✨ The mindset shift that allows for steady, sustainable growth ✨ Why urgency, hustle, and burnout are terrible business strategies ✨ How your physical, emotional, and mental well-being are your business strategy ✨ What it really looks like to scale with intention and structure ✨ The dangers of making decisions from emotion instead of data ✨ Why hustling isn’t going to get you there faster (and may actually slow you down) ✨ What it means to run a values-driven, service-based business rooted in trust and alignment ✨ How to grow your business without sacrificing your health, relationships, or joyIf you’ve been feeling pressure to “get there already,” this episode will help you breathe, ground, and reconnect with the kind of business you actually want to build.Because fast doesn’t always mean better—and slow doesn’t mean you’re behind.Get Full Show Notes, Event Sign Ups and More Information Here:http://www.staceybrassrussell.com/podcast

Ep 182 | Why I Think Reinventing Is Overrated (And What to Do Instead)
In this solo episode of Passionate & Prosperous, I’m digging into a topic I’ve been thinking about a lot lately: the difference between reinventing yourself… and simply evolving. We’re in a moment where everywhere you look, people are talking about rebranding, pivoting, burning it all down—and while I love a bold move, I think all this language can create unnecessary fear and pressure for so many of us.Because here’s what I believe:You’re not starting over. You’re building on everything you’ve already created. In this conversation, I share the personal stories and lessons that shaped how I think about evolution – not just in business, but in life. From losing my dad at 19, to creating and walking away from successful ventures, to making scary decisions in the name of alignment, I’ve never seen it as “starting from scratch.” It’s always been about taking what I’ve learned and created… and turning it into what’s next.I talk about:Why the “reinvention” narrative can keep you stuckHow to tell when it’s time to make a shift in your businessWhat evolving your offers, message, or audience actually looks likeHow to deal with the fear of changing things up (especially when people are watching!)Why your creativity and growth are essential—not optionalThis episode is for anyone feeling the call to make a change—but afraid of what it means. You’re not broken. You don’t have to burn it all down. You just might be ready to evolve.Let’s talk about what that really means—and how to do it.Get Full Show Notes, Event Sign Ups and More Information Here:http://www.staceybrassrussell.com/podcast

Ep 180 | The 3 Layers of an Ideal Client (And Why You Need to Revisit Yours)
If you’ve ever felt like your messaging is a little “off,” or like you’re attracting people who aren’t quite the right fit for your offers, this episode is going to give you the clarity you didn’t know you needed.I’m sharing the 3-layer framework I use (and teach) for identifying who your true ideal client is — so you can create offers, content, and experiences that attract the right people and feel fully aligned with your work.In this episode, we’re talking about one of my favorite (and most important) topics in business — what it really means to know who your ideal client is.Not just what problem they have or what outcome they want. Not just the surface-level ICA stuff you scribbled down when you first started your business. But the full, honest, multi-layered picture of who your work is truly for — the kind of person you want to partner with, spend your time with, and create transformational results for.I’m sharing this now because I just had a huge reminder of this myself. While working on the sales page for this year’s Passionate & Prosperous LIVE, I realized I was trying to make the event sound appealing to people who aren’t even my ideal clients. And that realization led to a total shift in how I’m thinking about my messaging, my audience, and who I want to call into the room.So I’m bringing you the full behind-the-scenes of that lightbulb moment, along with a breakdown of the 3-layer framework I use to define ideal clients — and how you can use it to recalibrate your business right now.In the episode, I walk you through:Why your ideal client is more than just their problem and desired outcomeThe 3 key layers that determine whether someone is actually the right fit for your workHow I reconnected to my ideal client while planning a major live eventWhy trying to “get” the wrong people to want your offer is a waste of your geniusThe energetic mismatch that happens when you're creating from misalignmentWhy transformation-based businesses only thrive when they attract transformation-ready clientsThis episode is part strategy, part pep talk, and part invitation to do the work that keeps your business aligned with who you are now — not who you were when you started.Whether you’re feeling a little off in your content and offers, or you just want to make sure you're still speaking to the right people, this one’s for you.Get Full Show Notes, Event Sign Ups and More Information Here:http://www.staceybrassrussell.com/podcast

Ep 179 | From Therapist to Coach: Julia’s Niche & Messaging Makeover
In this special episode, you get to be a fly on the wall for a powerful live coaching session with Julia Nedry, a therapist who’s making the leap into the world of coaching.Julia joined me after participating in The Profitable Coaching Business Bootcamp and winning our “Get Coached on the Podcast” prize. She came into the session full of excitement — she had already created a thoughtful and structured signature coaching program… but there was one big problem:She didn’t know how to talk about it in a way that would help someone understand why they would say yes to coaching vs. therapy. We also discovered that she needed to get even more clear and specific about her niche, messaging about the outcomes of her offer — the specific transformation it provides, who it’s really for, and what outcomes they are really desiring for themselves!.(And spoiler alert — that’s one of the most common places for brilliant, capable practitioners to get stuck.)So in true Passionate & Prosperous style, we got to work.In this coaching session, you’ll hear us unpack:Why “helping people with anxiety” is too vague when it comes to selling coaching (even if it’s your wheelhouse in therapy)Why “20- and 30-somethings who feel stuck” is not a niche — and how to get more specificWhat messaging actually is — and how it goes way beyond just describing your processThe difference between selling a coaching program and selling the results it deliversHow to figure out what your ideal clients are actually looking for so you can speak directly to themWhy your framework means nothing if people don’t understand what your offer helps them achieve in real lifeBy the end of the session, Julia experienced a total breakthrough, shifting from someone who felt stuck trying to explain a coaching program to someone who could finally own the transformation she’s here to deliver. She walked away with crystal-clear messaging, a deeper understanding of what her ideal clients actually want, and the confidence to start showing up and selling her offer in a whole new way.If you’ve ever felt like your offer makes sense in your head but doesn’t seem to land with your audience, or if you’ve been wondering why people aren’t saying yes, this episode will change the way you think about marketing your work. You can connect with Julia on LinkedIn and Instagram.Get Full Show Notes, Event Sign Ups and More Information Here:http://www.staceybrassrussell.com/podcast
