Simply it's about finding the things that 'float our boat' and sometimes even after getting them, you find that it's not what you wanted and you really haven't a clue as to what you're seeking. I guess it's all about finding yourself as well and getting to know the inner person.

Instead of the obvious I decided to pursue the loss of virility as characterised by the Flemish writer Des Esseintes who rather decadently held a black dinner party with naked black servants and funeral marches. No expenses were spared and the fountain was flooded with black ink completed the ideal setting in which to mourn the loss of one's virility.

Emerging from Lockdown I realised I had used the time to accumulate a lot of information about my neighbourhood in Chelsea. I was fascinated that all the British double agents that defected or got killed, lived in the neighbourhood. I thought that their analogue spycraft was quite extraordinary and inventive.

Airtight is the debut track from STELLE originally aired on Celine's Salon on Soho Radio 23rd December 2020. It will be featured along with its original mix on our forthcoming LP scheduled for release later in 2021. Multi-Genre, it features collaborations with a diverse collection of international artistes and ranges from experimental to commercial styles. The multimedia release is currently being researched and developed and aspires to bring new immersive elements to the listening experience. Stay tuned for live virtual performances.
