    Forgotten Bayou

We're back, baby. Victoria Greene, the producer/director behind the upcoming documentary, Forgotten Bayou, joins me on Projecting to talk about her production, the Bayou Corne Sinkhole, and the insanity that is creating a documentary. Check it out and consider donating to her kickstarter - it's pretty remarkable what she has done.

  2. 22

Make Scifi & Horror Great Again!

David Bienvenue returns along with Greg Manson! We discuss Sci-fi and horror as an art form, movies in general, and close with a brief (and unexpected) discussion about the upcoming presidential election! (By now you probably get the absurd title...)

  3. 21

    A Special Announcement!

I am incredibly excited to announce the upcoming launch of a new podcast: Rumor Flies. Ryan Caligari rejoins me on Projecting along with Josh Honses. The three of us joined forces to produce Rumor Flies as a comical, weekly podcast about rumors, myths, and misconceptions. In this episode of Projecting we discuss our love of podcasts, the origins of this new project, and examine the road we see ahead of us.  I will continue to produce Projecting, so hope to have you back next week! Happy Easter and thanks for listening!

The Cost of Education, Old Memories, and Match Day

My old friend Mark Correa joins me on Projecting. We take a nice trip down memory lane (yay cliche), discuss the issues with rising costs of education, and the interview process for potential medical residents!

  5. 19

    Beer, Bros, and Bojack Horseman

Davis Callais joins me on Projecting! Davis has a glorious radio voice, quick wit, and is very much a renaissance man with many talents. My old friend and I chat about some fun past stories, our mutual love of beer and brewing (including his time at Abita), and more.  Questions? Thoughts? Hit us up! [email protected].  Twitter: @3tiltdat

Mardi Gras is Upon Us // Thank You

It's solo time! *cue guitar* Short episode this week due to Mardi Gras/work owning my life. Checking in, say hey, and a few small announcements! Thanks for the support as always.

Where we Park, Food Recovery, and Cultural Challenges to Sustainability

Sheila Borkar (my old friend from UVA) and her roommate/compatriot Hannah Gingerich join me on Projecting! They discuss their backgrounds and current work in different but still very related fields  with one overarching goal in mind: sustainability. We talk about their day to day, some aspects you may not have considered, and the cultural challenges and pushback they sometimes face. Enjoy! Hit us up: @3tiltdat and email at [email protected]

  8. 16

An Evening with actor Will McGovern!

The incredibly talented Will McGovern joined me on Projecting! We had a great chat looking over our growth the past few years, the amazingly skilled and hard-working friends we've made along the way, and the cool projects we have gotten to do and have in the pipeline. Questions? Thoughts? Holler at us: [email protected] Follow Will: @_The_Real_BM Follow Greg: @3tiltdat

Scott's Back! French Resilience, Bureaucracy, and the Occasional Fulfilled Stereotype!

My brother and comrade in arms Scott Tilton returns to Projecting! We discuss his first months in France, his insights into the ISIS attacks in Paris (November, 2015), and close out with a brief but fascinating chat about how the US handled the economic realities of the attacks on 9/11.  We had to record in a different location out of the blue, unfortunately, so we apologize for the ever so slight echo our location produced. Follow Greg at: @3tiltdat Questions? Holler at us! [email protected]

Myths, Misconceptions, and Firing up the Best Steak EVER

An old comrade, Ryan Caligari, joins me this week on Projecting! Ryan discusses his time researching the effects and misconceptions of GMO's, how to battle ignorance and emotional responses with evidence while understanding people's frameworks, and why your steaks aren't as good as his!  This episode was recorded at the inDEPTH Media offices in New Orleans, LA.  www.filmindepth.com Thoughts on the show? Sarge is back! Bioware, Black Protagonists, and way too many Digressions

Ben Gilyot joins me once again on PROJECTING. We discuss Bioware, changes in super hero movies and fandom, and as always, the politics of representation in media!  Follow Ben on Twitter!Follow Greg on Twitter! www.filmindepth.com Thanks for listening! There were some minor technical mishaps, but after much editing the episode is now good to go.

Ben Zschunke and The Polar Bear Club

My good friend and fellow filmmaker, Ben Zschunke, came on Projecting! His new amazing feature film, The Polar Bear Club, which he produced/script supervised/co-wrote/etc. (too many roles to count!), just had its world premier in Nashville, TN. Check it out, follow his work, and enjoy our chat about The Polar Bear Club, our trip to Tennessee, and a bit about our current projects!

  13. 11

Comedy, Cosby, and Which Cartoons are Best as Torture Tools!

My old friend and recent colleague David Bienvenue comes on the podcast. Our collective ADHD is a force to be reckoned with.  Holla back:  twitter.com/3tiltdat [email protected]

    Roadtrip with the Fiancée!

So someone was crazy enough to say yes. Way to go, Ann Marshall! We got engaged, it was actually quite the operation. Find out from Ann Marshall herself (naturally I NEVER injected myself in the conversation) what went down as we take a drive to Austin, TX!  We chat about the engagement, what's been going on in our lives lately, and give a little sneak peak in to recent reddit doc developments. We were on the road so there is a little background noise, but everything should be pretty clear (hooray noise cancellation!) Cheers

  15. 9

The Brothers Tilton Pt. 2: Electric Boogaloo

More Kung Fury, my sister's engagement luncheon, and the conclusion to our epic discussion on Creole identity. Let's get culturally sensitive!

  16. 8

    The Brothers Tilton

My brother returns to his humble abode in New Orleans, LA! We discussed the recent SCOTUS rulings, his time on "The Hill," and my favorite subject, his thesis on Creole Identity in Louisiana (most importantly, OBVIOUSLY, New Orleans!). Pretentiousness and accents abound in this "The Women's US Team just won the Women's World Cup!"-fueled episode of "Projecting."

  17. 7

Film, Rates, The DSLR Revolution, and I'm Getting my Eyes Lazered

This week I talk about working in film and some of the lessons along the way. From the DSLR Revolution enabling many like myself to break in to film, to how I sometimes struggle to walk the walk when it comes to my values and philosophies regarding film and beyond.  Yes, the episode is late. What do you want from me? It's free.

  18. 6

    A Little Check Up

This week I record from the road (luckily I don't mean that literally). Beautiful starry nights, the zombie apocalypse, and the Steam Summer Sale annihilating my wallet one transaction at a time!  Hit me up at twitter! Subscribe on itunes to "Projecting"! Wee!

  19. 5

A Little Throwback Filler for You - Cutie and the Boxer

Because I'm traveling, I decided to upload an old favorite from a podcast my friend Sarah and I did a while back. We focused on documentary films and discussed/mused/rambled over them. These will pop up from time to time when I am unavailable and/or when she and I decide to record more new ones! Weeeee!

  20. 4

Rufus Butler Comes to Town: A chat on the state of medicine, Kung Fury, and Halo.

My good friend Niels came to town! We discussed electronic medical records, the challenges of med school and the industry as a whole, how amazing Kung Fury was, and close with a little discussion on how awkward the end of Halo 4 is (his first play-through).  www.gregtilton.com www.filmindepth.com Check out Kung Fury! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bS5P_LAqiVg Disclaimer: We are in no way affiliated with or sponsored by Kung Fury, Halo,  or any of their representatives.

  21. 3

DC vs "Not DC," Queer Readings of Film and Television, and Flubber. feat. Ben Gilyot!

"Sarge" and I spent an awesome afternoon chatting primarily about film/comic books and their portrayals of superheroes. Controversy and big words abound from the brilliant Ben Gilyot!  Thoughts? Hit us up! @3tiltdat @Bengiyo Edit: Apologies for the brief period of flanging. Something happened between export and posting that causes some mild "phasing" of my voice during a brief part of the episode! Luckily, Ben is clean as can be and is far more interesting than I am.
