They Are Robbing You Of Your Spoons!
Doomscrolling is robbing you of your creative potential! Got a lot of projects you want to work on? Do you believe you have the time for it, but just not the energy? You're not alone! Let's fight to get our spoons back. #mentalhealth #mentalenergy #spoonsanalogyI continue my Unpacking playthrough in this episode instead of doing a jigsaw puzzle. It's still a puzzle game, it still counts!Catch me on Twitch:https://www.twitch.tv/puzzleemptymCheck out Gamify This:https://www.youtube.com/@UCXEDb_8tg4qhvPkpj1K-sqgEver heard of the "spoons analogy?" The Spoon Theory, created by Christine Miserandino in 2003, is a metaphor for managing chronic illness or disability, where spoons represent a limited daily supply of energy. Each task (showering, working) costs "spoons," and running out means resting to replenish, forcing individuals to prioritize activities to avoid burnout, according to Verywell Health and the National Center on Health, Physical Activity and Disability.CHAPTERS:00:00 Let me paint you a picture...

What Happens When No One Cares About What You Make? | Puzzled Ep 9
Time for an unscripted, unprepared, 20 minute rant. I was angry, sad, frustrated, and lonely while recording this. I have since cooled down but I feel like I need to publish it since I recorded it. Normally when I record stuff like this I delete it afterwards, but I realized I just need to put this out there.#adhdawareness #burnout #creativeblock Catch me on Twitch:https://www.twitch.tv/puzzleemptymCheck out Gamify This:https://www.youtube.com/@UCXEDb_8tg4qhvPkpj1K-sqgCHAPTERS:00:00 Intro

Why Everything Feels Urgent (and How To Unlearn It)
Patience has always been a problem for me, and ADHD makes it worse. So in this episode, I’m talking through impatience, deadlines, and that constant feeling that everything needs to be solved immediately, while I work on a 4,000 piece puzzle of Van Gogh’s Starry Night (yes, I started it three years ago and it’s still haunting me). The main takeaway: I’m trying to practice living slower on purpose, doing things thoughtfully and methodically, without using “slowing down” as an excuse to stop showing up. If you’ve got your own patience strategies (especially small, realistic ones), drop them in the comments.Catch me on Twitch:https://www.twitch.tv/puzzleemptymCheck out Gamify This:https://www.youtube.com/@UCXEDb_8tg4qhvPkpj1K-sqg
