"Rock on Samus!" was the first mashup I had ever produced, and it was heavily inspired by "Brinstar Rock" by Hauntershadow, a mashup producer I highly look up to. For Metroid's 29th birthday I made 3 special Metroid mashups, including this brand new take on my introduction to the mashup community. With my skills and experience far surpassing my last attempt, I do think this turned out much better! Of the 3 mashups I released today for Metroid's 29th birthday, this is BY FAR my favorite. It takes the essence of Metroid and infuses it with various instrumental takes from Five Finger Death Punch's debut album, "The Way of the Fist".
