  1. 35

    Crystal Palace (h)

The caffeine must be kicking in as the boys make it 3 wins on the bounce after a 3-1 nailbiter against Palace at Anfield. Isak and Wirtz, the marquee signings put their names in lights, sandwiched around a vintage counter attack finished off by Robbo. It’s a soothing tonic for the bitter medicine that was Mo’s hamstring. All that and our morning routines in this week’s Red Heads.https://www.instagram.com/redheadspodcast?igsh=MWZsNndyY2Z2Yzhudw%3D%3D&utm_source=qrhttps://youtube.com/@redheadspodcast?si=KjSWx7B1yWlwhs10

  2. 34

    Everton (a)

It was a big, big weekend for talking points, and the boys let them percolate to a heady Red brew. A stoppage time sign off from the captain, another record for the raging King of Egypt, and a few rumors to whet our summer appetites. Go ahead, have a sip. It’s 5 to go somewhere. instagram.com/redheadspodcastwww.youtube.com/@RedHeadsPodcast

  3. 33

    Fulham & PSG

Yeah, Liverpool are out of the champion’s league. So what? Who cares? So Ekitike is out for 9 months, and? We beat Fulham. Everything is fine. First Merseyside derby at the Hill Dicko this Sunday. Everything could be a lot better by then.instagram.com/redheadspodcasthttps://www.youtube.com/@RedHeadsPodcast

  4. 32

    Man City & PSG

With 6 conceded and 0 scored, the international break hangover is hitting a little harder this week. In this episode, Ian and James pop an advil, grit their teeth, and do their best to remember what happened after a couple matches to forget. All that, and a second early obituary for the career of another Liverpool legend, this time our stalwart Scotsman, Robbo. This one stings.instagram.com/redheadspodcasthttps://www.youtube.com/@RedHeadsPodcast

  5. 31

    Brighton (a) & Salah

Mohamed Salah has announced he’s leaving the club at the end of the season, and suddenly a long year feels too short.  Andy said it best, I wish there was a way to know you’re in the good old days.  Well, we do know.  We are in them now, and not for much longer.  I think we’re all going to need a minute to process this news.instagram.com/redheadspodcasthttps://www.youtube.com/@RedHeadsPodcast

  6. 30

    Spurs & Galatasaray

A big champion’s league night is just what we needed to forget a damp squib of a match against Spurs last Sunday.  Four nil to the boys in red over Galatasaray, and your boys couldn’t wait to break it down on this week’s episode. Slot bought himself a stay of execution. How long will that last?  We don’t know and we tell you exactly that.  Up the Reds.https://www.instagram.com/redheadspodcast/https://www.youtube.com/@RedHeadsPodcast

  7. 29

    Wolves & Galatasaray

The boys dig into another classic Liverpool one-two punch. That’s right, another win loss.  Rio danced on the Molineux grass as we sung to a 3-1 FA cup victory. Then the boys went to hell, Istanbul that is, and came home empty handed.  Strap onto another pulse pounding episode of “Are Liverpool Bad?”, courtesy of your hosts, Ian and James.  The Winter Dance Party is over.https://www.youtube.com/@RedHeadsPodcast/videoshttps://www.instagram.com/redheadspodcast/

  8. 28

    West Ham & Wolves

Prepare to be whelmed by Liverpool’s 5-2 win against West Ham at Anfield, which they followed up triumphantly with 2-1 lost against bottom-feeder Wolves at Molineux.  The boys dissect another chapter in the Jekyll-Hyde story of Liverpool’s season. Anytime you think they’ve turned a corner, they hit a wall.  Here comes another curve against, you guessed, Wolves on Friday.  Which team will show up?  Your guess is worse than ours, so listen up.https://www.youtube.com/@RedHeadsPodcast/videoshttps://www.instagram.com/redheadspodcast/

  9. 27

    Nottingham Forest (a)

Strap in — or better yet, lie down — as the boys break down a drab but ultimately delirious last-minute winner against Forest. What looked like a slog turned into scenes, and they’ve got plenty to say about how it happened, who stepped up, and what it means moving forward. From there, it’s fixtures galore. The lads talk run-ins, size up the competition, and debate who’s actually got the bottle (and the schedule) to land a top-four — maybe even top-six — finish. Pretty please be Liverpool.

  10. 26

    Brighton (h)

The reds look to make it three wins on the bounce in the face of another new manager bounce as they make their way to the East Midlands this Sunday. James and Ian review the Brighton 3 nil, cover a tightening title race, and preview this weekend’s matchup with Nottingham Forest. By next week, there ought to be a new sheriff in town.

  11. 25

    Man City & Sunderland

It’s the countdown to the countdown, and Liverpool start by counting off a win against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light. Oh yeah, and a loss at home against Manchester City. That was pre-countdown. Join Ian and James as they recount a tense pair of fixtures that leaves them within touching distance of the Champion’s league. Game on.

  12. 24

    Qarabag & Newcastle

When it rains, il pluet, and that means ten (dix) goals across two (duex) games in one (deliciuex) podcast. It’s an episode you won’t want to miss as Ian and James cover Qarabag, Newcastle, Man City, and Jimmy Jackets, with plenty of bad (good) French in between. Eikitike and Wirtz. Ooh la la.

  13. 23

    Bournemouth (a)

This week’s Red Heads could use a drink, preferably something stiff, as Liverpool ends the world’s saddest unbeaten run with a 3-2 defeat at Bournemouth.  Can Slot stop the rot or has he lost the plot?  Can Mo bag to reclaim his swag against Qarabag?  If you’ve been feeling down, it’s a group stage final round preview that won’t leave you feeling Wirtz.  In fact, this’ll make it a little better.  ‘Ave that.

  14. 22

    Burnley & Marseille

The Reds make a show of Marseille at the Stade Velodrome, but not before the boos ring out at Anfield following a predictable 1-1 with Burnley, yes, that Burnley. Ian and James talk having no fun at home, having a fun Euro trip, and what the future looks like for Slot’s Jekyll and Hyde outfit. Can Slot keep his jobby from Xabi? Find out during this week’s episode.

  15. 21

    Arsenal & Barnsley

It’s eleven straight unbeaten making the Red Heads giddy for the weekend’s visit from Burnley to Anfield, but first the lads discuss a nil nil thriller at the Emirates, the succulent Ekitike Wirtz connection, and a coaching conundrum that promises to to stick around until the summer. Let’s make it twelve on Saturday.

  16. 20

    Fulham (a)

This week, Liverpool FC find new and interesting ways to disappoint us, scoring a 90+4’ minute winner before succumbing to a 90+7’ Fulham equalizer.  Ian and James discuss the red’s Charybdis-like struggle, a January window to forget, and a headliner matchup with Arsenal this Thursday.  Do hashtags belong in descriptions? #GoFightWin Up the Reds, Up the Red Heads.

  17. 19

    Leeds (h)

This week’s Red Heads asks if it’s New Years or Groundhog Day after Liverpool’s drab nil nil draw at home against Leeds, who’ve managed to take 4 points of the red men in as many weeks.  James and Ian also review the 2-1 wins against Spurs and Wolves and discuss what it will feel like to sit through another 19 games of uninspiring footie.

  18. 18

    Brighton (h)

In this week’s episode, the boys say “Mamma Mia!” to a well-deserved victory in Milan, break down the lasting impact of the Mo Salah comments and his departure to AFCON, and cap it all off by discussing the five-game unbeaten run—culminating in a confident 2–0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion, powered by goals from Hugo Ekitike aka Hugegoal Ekiteamyay

  19. 17

    Leed United (a)

It’s a fiery Salah extravaganza on this week’s Red Heads, with his substitute appearance against West Ham and absence at Leeds culminating in the interview heard round the football world. We break down the collapse at Leeds and what comes next for Salah’s future with the squad.

  20. 16

    West Ham (a)

Winning helps, and Liverpool’s 2-0 win over West Ham at London Stadium helped the Red Heads through another killer ep. James and Ian discuss Liverpool’s Salah selection conundrum, Wirtz’ sparkling link-up play, and a number of hits from Aaron Eckhart’s illustrious career. Sunderland up next. Up the Reds.

  21. 15

    Nottingham Forest (h)

Back to the Red’s regularly scheduled programming with a second straight 3-nil loss, this time at Anfield. Ian and James waste no time letting you know the performance was bad, the form is bad, the season is looking bad, but the episode? It’s good.https://www.instagram.com/redheadspodcast/?igsh=MWZiNmNqYXRqeXB0bg%3D%3D

  22. 14

Int'l Break 03 - There and Back Again

The Red Heads take their time this week to really dissect Liverpool’s ailing title defense, potential winter window transfers, and the vicissitudes of fate. It’s a heady brew of the focused realism you search for and the belligerent optimism to help get through the last of this international break. Keywords: Liverpool, Premier League, Champions, Konate, Guehi, Semenyo, Hobbiton. Welcome home.

  23. 13

    Aston Villa (h)

It’s a special edition of Red Heads recorded just moments after the final whistle of a professional 2-0 win over Aston Villa at Anfield. Brentford (a)

  25. 11

    Manchester United (h)

With Liverpool losing to United at Anfield for the first time in 9 years and 4 straight for the first time in over a decade, the lads look to find some sweet solace in the knowledge that you win some and, truly, you lose some. That’s football. Ian hosts, James commiserates, Frankfurt awaits.

  26. 10

    Int'l Break 02 - Kit Rank

It’s that time again! James and Ian are joined by their dear friend Caleb White (@fisformovies) to rank… kits. That’s right — we’re ranking 14(!) Outro song: Twists & Turns & Headtrips - Milk Music (2017)

  27. 9

    Chelsea (a)

Strikes, celebrity deaths, Liverpool FC losses. Do all bad things come in threes? This week’s Red Heads sees Ian and James confront the Liverpool slide head on, just as Arne Slot will do from the home office while his boys are across the globe on international duty over the next two weeks.  It’s just one point back to the top. No one’s getting too carried away.Outro Song: Hey Lover - The Daughters of Eve (1965)

  28. 8
