This week the girls open with their Reely Undead series for the month of October. Throughout the month they will carry on the theme of contagion, quarantine and ZOMBIES (and maybe some vampires.) The first movie in this series is the classic Night of the Living Dead, directed by George A. Romero. In this episode, the girls talk about one of Stanley Kubrick's most famous films, The Shining. Based on a novel by Stephen King, this movie follows Jack Torrance as he adapts to life with his family at The Overlook hotel. In his demise, Jack eerily mirrors Ted Bundy, Meaghan's ex, and Meredith finally gets to have a song from The Monkees in the podcast.

Welcome to part two of the Halloween October Spooktacular (Doesn't Have an Official Name Yet) Extravaganza! In this episode, we talk about one of Meaghan's favorites, Ernest Scared Stupid. What began as a character for regional commercials, the character Ernest evolved into a television series and multiple movies including Ernest goes to Africa, Ernest in the Army and more! Overall, Meredith is surprised from the quality of the movie. 

In this week's episode Meaghan and Meredith watched Halloweentown for the first part of the Halloween October Spooktacular (Doesn't Have an Official Name Yet) Extravaganza. Meredith feels a little nostalgic and Meaghan thought Bette Midler was in this movie, if that tells you anything about this episode.
