We live in a spiritual world, we should not ignore it or undermine it, but we need to know God's character and focus on him to understand HIM. We have overcomplicated, over sanctified and "perfect" the meaning of serving, of having a relationship with God, of representing him. When all this relies on the simplicity of willingness, the willingness of the heart, of the mind and of the soul. He ain't looking for perfection but people that are willing.

The importance of friendships is unquestionable, the impact they can have in our lives and the impact we can have on someone's life is big. The tricky part is knowing if that impact is positive or negative and what type of fruit it will bear.

God has a new name for you, a new identity, and a new purpose. It is scary to give up a name we have carried for most of our life, but God's promises are better than anything this world could offer.

There is no worst thing we can do that Godcan't forgive, can't renew and can change!

It is never too late for a new purpose, a new identity and a new name. He has promises with our name, but we need to walk before him faithfully and surrender. We have to be willing to be renewed!

He renewed the life of 12, common men, unliked people, but willing hearts. When we follow him he gives us a new purpose, a new identity and a new name!

The old is gone... The NEW is here! A renewal of mind, spirit and heart happens when we are in Christ!

The tomb is empty! He is risen! He fought darkness, evil, sin and won! He has overcome this world and gifted us the opportunity of eternal life!

The greatest love story of them all is the one of the King of Kings... The one of God made man coming to this word to die on the cross and becoming the ultimate sacrifice so we can have the gift of salvation. Because of this we are made new, we have been renewed...

Beaten, mocked of, filled of pain and still he interceded for us, and still he loved us. The earth shake, the veil torn, and he gave his spirit to God...

Matthew 26: 26-30His body and his blood, a supper to commemorate and celebrate his sacrifice, his not ye known victory and his love for us.

John 12: 12- 16The king makes his triumphant entry, a week that started with a donkey and palm ended with salvation and eternal life!

John 3:16This week we commemorate the biggest love story of them all, he died for you and me and resurrected for you and me.

Deuteronomy 6:5Depending on God means surrendering our own self, loving him with all our heart, all our mind and all our soul.

We are more comfortable depending on this world than the one who created it. God promises peace, happiness, love when we fully depend on him. And YES talking about it is easier than doing it but we can have the certainty he will be with us and whatever we feel we are missing HE WILL PROVIDE.

Isaiah 41:10When we surrender and recognize we only depend on God we have the certainty that he gives us strengths and upholds. The promises are in front of us we just have to say yes and unlock them.

Matthew 6:24When we are depedent on God we cannot be depending on this world. We need to start trusting in the creator of the heaven and the earth instead of the ones who just live in it.

John 15: 5When we depend on our father he makes sure we bear good fruit, but apart from him we have nothing. The thing is to receive this promise we cannot be dependent to this world, no one can serve two masters.

Proverbs 3:5-6Trust in God, without leaning in our own knowledge. But why should we? What are the benefits? What is trust?

2 Corinthians 4:6We are commanded to be light in the darkness, but sometimes we forget that the light isn't ours but it comes from God. When he shines his light in our hearts we are capable to speak the truth.

Fake News travel faster than good news and most times we are the ones carrying this fake news instead of the news of life. We have been sent to be the light of the world and carry the good news the darkest places of the earth, the question is, are you up to the challenge?

Matthew 9: 37-38We know the good news, but are we willing to share them? Many are in need yet few are the ones willing to take on the work.

Acts 13: 47 We have been commanded to bring light to the darkest corners of the earth! Right now that may seem to much at a young age so the challenge is to bring light to the darkest corners of your world, people that you love that have not seen the light. Because sometimes the darkest corners are right beside us.

Matthew 5: 14-16We are the light of the world! There are so many people living in darkness, settled with a life without hope. We have the blessing of knowing the truth and we have the responsibility of sharing it.

Matthew 7:21There is one way to Salvation and is through Jesus, but sometimes we are more focused on having a relationship with religion than with him!

There is one way to righteousness, one way to salvation and it's not in the shape of a Golden Ticket or define by our merits. The only way is Jesus, he has gifted us by grace this opportunity and through faith we are saved!

Romans 3: 22-24The truth is that in our own strength we are always gonna fall short. Nothing we do is enough to earn righteousness, there is no way to earn it because it was freely gifted to us by Grace!

Ephesians 2: 8-9We have been saved by grace THROUGH faith, there is no salvation be acts and even if it goes against our humanity salvation is something that cannot be earned, but is GIFTED.

John 14: 5-6Salvation is one way and one way only, let's talk about how society has manage to propose multiple ways that get you to heaven!

How can we be equipped to fight and not succumb to our own desires? The path to purity is hard yet not impossible, let's talk about ignoring those distractions and fighting those temptations.

Hebrews 2:18He has not only loved us, but experienced our same battles so we can ask him for help! The question is why wont't you?

Matthew 26:41Jesus gives us the strategies and instructions to battle this world and even when it is hard to not conform to it he gives us the tools to resist it.

James 1:13-15God cannot be tempted and he cannot tempt us, so who be the one putting those battles in our mind?

Psalms 119: 9-11 So we live in a sinful world and we are going to be tempted, how can I fight it? How can I stay in a path of purity in my youth?

Romans 6:13-14We are set free of those chains of sin and we can be instruments of good to the one who has make us righteous. Your story is a testimony of how the death were brought back to life and now live because of grace!

We live in a corrupted world, a world that offers a life full of pleasure, fleeting pleasures. And even when we recognize they are bad, unfulfilling and momentarily it is so hard to let go of them. Proverbs 24:16We are going to fall many times, but those who are in Christ will rise every single time. Don't be defeated, don't settle to defeat, but every time be renewed in spirit!

Being in a relationship with God does not makes us immune to sin, but it provides the tools to resist and fight. In him we have a continuous renewal of our mind, a constant path that leads to him!

We are no longer slaves of sin because Christ has set us free. It doesn't matter how big your sin is, how "dirty" your past was you are set free!

We are in a constant struggle with sin, and many times we just don't want to give it up. Join me this week to discuss this battle of flesh and spirit.

No matter what is it that you sow with tears you will reap with joy! That is what God promises for our lives!
