I'm so excited and I just can't hide it: I recently improved one of my VST plugins and got it working correctly. This particular pluggy has two modes: one for stutter effects and another for timestretching and pitchshifting (the pitchshifting was screwing things up prior to the improvements). I was so happy I fixed it that I couldn't resist showing it off. In this real-time demo, one instance of the plugin is used, and to demonstrate what it can do, I put together the dopest beat I could muster. NJOY!

"After Hours" is from 2003 and was my entry into Radiohead's remix competition that they called "The Loophole." It was not selected as one of the winners (possibly because its sheer awesomeness was too much to handle). The gist of the competition was that you had a selection of around 80 .wav files of varying content to download, which you were then free to remix into pretty much whatever you wanted. You then uploaded your track and Radiohead themselves (or maybe some random guy) selected a group of winners that was rotated every few months. I downloaded all of the .wavs (with a 56K modem, no less) and spent a lot of time mucking around with them, seeing what I could come up with (this was back when I was unable to completely finish a track, mind you). I hunkered down with the arsenal of audio tricks I had taught myself and created this meandering, schizophrenic (dare I say it?) masterpiece (I dare).
