As of late 2004, I moved to using Reason to better improve quality. The main goal of my music is to improve upon my musical production knowledge, so that my music may take on a new dimension of life.My music has been described as "powerful", "melodic", and "emotional". It is not often I push the boundaries of music. I merely strive to make my music as enjoyable to as many people as possible.

Sigh of Excitement
During an old one hour compo, The Nightstalker channeled fellow Outpost member Nifflas with a bit of Rhodes piano action. Now, this instrumental piece has been transcribed into Reason and released as a full single. Trumpet and saxophone trade riffs over bass, two electronic pianos, and occasionally some light strings. The last half minute of this one is truly something special for fans of The Nightstalker.

New Zepsi Industries (remake of Zepsi)
A new take on Zepsi's "Zepsi Industries" from the game #modarchive Story by Nifflas (available at http://nifflas.ni2.se/?page=Miscellaneous). This version was remade entirely in Reason, but holds close to the original, extending it into a full release, with a new riff to enjoy as well.

Cent Credits
A piano variation of Cent Main Theme, written and performed by roncli, The Nightstalker.
-
59
Cent Main Theme
Written for the game "Cent", currently in development. The song serves as the game's theme for the game's main menu, delivering a high energy rock theme with a clear hook to identify the game.
-
58
Everytime
The Nightstalker presents his first vocal work in two years with "Everytime", a powerful pop tune featuring vocals with 3-part harmony, synth stabs, light percussion, and a fantastic oboe to help close out the song.
-

One and True (with slammy)
slammy and I for years would say to each other, "You know, we really need to do a co-op." We'd send files around back and forth, but nothing ever really took off. That is, until slammy sent "One and True", something that had a great melody and a lot of potential. There was a lull in production for a few months, but once we picked it up again in January of 2005, there was no stopping this one. Some nice pop/folk, with some sweet melodies and sounds. Everything flows together nicely, and the dynamics of this song bring it to life.

Song of the Cross
This is The Nightstalker's first full release using Reason and Sonar. Based on a recent one hour compo, the title does not have any religious connection to it. Rather, it refers to the empty patterns, displayed as +++'s, or crosses, in ModPlug Tracker. The myth is that liberal use of +++ patterns makes you place better. Unfortunately, it didn't work for this one, but the melody was good enough to extend into a full production!

55
Smoke (with troupe)
troupe: "Kind of a xerxes-inspired cheesey electronic tune."
-
54
The Streets of Olympia
The Nightstalker is back in the driver seat with his third release of 2004, "The Streets of Olympia". Originally written for Xtremebuilder's Olympia Gold 3 Racing MOD for Descent 3, this piece features some high flying melodies, with support from strings, a fast paced drum beat, and The Nightstalker's beloved piano.
-
53
Respect
Another one hour compo favorite of The Nightstalker, this soft piece features piano and synth melodies, layered on top of an organ and a moving beat. A nice laid back, relaxing track!
-
52
Module Sixteen
The Nightstalker returns to form with "Module Sixteen", his first release in over a year. This new age piece features exciting surprises, including a memorable melody, a pounding beat, a trademark piano solo, a lovely violin, and... a hammered dulcimer? Working his magic, The Nightstalker puts a number of unusual elements together in this fantastic piece.
-
51
Awakening
Close your eyes and imagine the perfect dawn. That rosy sunrise, the morning breeze rustling through your hair, and the first touch of warmth on your face. Now open your eyes and listen to "Awakening", The Nightstalker's first original work in over 18 months. Featuring top quality instruments, including strings courtesy of Outpost's HomesickAlien, this song is a laid back melodic ballad, reminiscent of The Nightstalker's earlier compositions. Feel the "Awakening".

Forgotten
Long time, no scene. Some may have already forgotten about what has happened, and have moved on in life. But you never forget the good that has come of your experiences, for that is what will make you a better person. I will never forget.
-
49
Forty Hours
Born of the famous One Hour Compos, "Forty Hours" is The Nightstalker's first new release for 2002! Featuring a strong melody, moving strings, and a driving techno beat, "Forty Hours" is sure to keep you moving.
-
48
Lifeline (with AlexG)
AlexG presents some funk, and The Nightstalker helps liven it up in this old school release.
-
47
Message From Beyond - We Exist (with HomesickAlien and Evolution)
Evolution and Outpost member HomesickAlien team up to create "Message From Beyond - We Exist". This thumping trance tune features many spacey sound effects and chilling melodies to give that creepy, look-an-alien's-behind-you feeling.
-
46
The Last Piano (with Dr. Q-Cumber)
Doctor Q-Cumber is the best Outpost One Hour Compo contestant in the group. "The Last Piano" is one of his one hour compo contributions, and I couldn't help but notice the emotion and the beautiful melodies the song contained. After discarding the ugly piano sample and replacing it with my own, I decided to add some light strings to the piece to make it sound more airy. I am quite happy with the finished product, as is DrQ. We hope you enjoy this quick musical journey.
-
45
You Are Not Alone
Best described as an instrumental ballad, this piece thunders through in 9/8 time with a driving piano melody, wonderful harmonious strings, and a wonderful ballad-like percussion. You'll find yourself humming the theme in no time.
-
44
Remember When I Held You?
Depression. Anger. Jealousy. If at any time you feel any of these feelings while listening to this song, then it has served its purpose. I hope you can hear me crying, yelling, and screaming over a love lost. This is the most dynamic, complete, and emotionally driven piece yet for The Nightstalker. Featuring a lovely string section, excellent piano support, a thunderous guitar, and the perfect percussion to go along with it.
-
43
Cancerous
Love is the most pleasurable experience in the world. But if you're not careful, it can also be the most dangerous weapon as well. To many times, people use love to take advantage of others, and the result can leave the victims with an empty, cancerous feeling.
-
42
Wild Ride
Combine the best elements of alternative, techno, and classical piano, and throw in a bell just for fun! "Wild Ride" was originally a one hour compo tune that didn't place to well, but with improved samples and more instruments, "Wild Ride" is indeed a complete and enjoyable song.
-
41
Das Floot Shakhroot (with Mister X and Evolution)
The Nightstalker again combines with Mister X and Evolution for a more serious piece, "Das Floot Shakhroot". Expanding their musical horizons, this is a tracked remake of a real ethnic Indian tune that makes for a very interesting listen.
-
40
Another Day Past (with Distortion)
The second co-op between The Nightstalker and Distortion results in this Electric/Alternative vocal piece. One of the darker tunes of The Nightstalker, this one features music written by Distortion, and lyrics added by The Nightstalker.
-
39
Memories of the Past
By far, the most professional work by The Nightstalker to date, "Memories of the Past" consists of a beautiful string harmony with driving and emotional vocals and a nice piano to add flavor to the piece.
-
38
More Emotional (Than Anything)
Another instrumental rock piece in 6/8, the intent of this piece was to pour as much energy and emotion into the tracker as possible. The result was a high-energy, exciting piece of music that's fun to listen to.
-
37
Amy Acuff Intro
This was meant to be the intro music to Amy Acuff's website. The music was completed, but unfortunately the deal never went through, resulting in an unused piece of music that was released in 2000. A very short 13-second piece, this is a good riff of rock.
-
36
Eye of the Storm
A short collection of orchestral movements depicting the events before, during, and briefly after a major storm, probably a hurricane. Written completely from start to finish in about three hours on a sleepless Wednesday morning. I hope I wasn't completely delusional to write something and release it in the same day. I don't think I was.
-
35
Would You Come With Me (with Mister X and Evolution)
We get some crazy ideas sometimes. This is a prime example of one of those ideas. What totally intended to be a full song, "Would You Come With Me?" instead was perfectly timed for the Trax in Space 30 Seconds Compo.
-
34
Time With You
Described as "80's TV Theme Show Music", "Time With You" is a melodic piece with the pizzicato strings ticking time in the background. Various instruments portray the chorus, including a chime, a flute, and a clean electric guitar. A very relaxing piece from The Nightstalker!
-
33
As We Speak
One of the few trance tunes by The Nightstalker, As We Speak combines solid trance construction with a memorable melody.
-
32
Skin FX - 2000 Energy Mix (remix of [CSM])
Here is a remix of [CSM]'s fantastic synth wonder, "Skin FX". Original samples, as well as the entire song, used with permission from [CSM]. Very few songs out there with this type of beat can claim to be truly entertaining, but this melodic tune is that and more. Now, with a more souped up beat and a lot more energy, the 2000 energy mix is a must keep for melodic dance fans.
-
31
On Fire - Part VI - Fire Rekindled
"Fire Rekindled" is the sixth installment in The Nightstalker's successful "On Fire" series. A jazzy beat and some nice synth leads only add to the passion of the romance that is started again. You have come to expect an excellent piano arrangement as well, though, and The Nightstalker delivers, coupling melody, harmony, and the chord scheme into this wonderful arrangement.
-
30
Deadly Drums (with Distortion)
The original "Deadly Drums", released after the club mix, is the first co-op between The Nightstalker and Distortion. Distortion's musical talents favor industrial, house, experimental, and other related genres. This song seems to combine all those genres into one flowing piece of music.
-
29
Deadly Drums - Extended Club Mix
The original "Deadly Drums" is a bit more experimental, but for a minute and a half, I turned it into a techno wonder, and I really felt I needed to expand upon that idea. The result is this inspired club mix based on the original tune.
-
28
This Song Is For You
The third vocal piece by The Nightstalker is a unique combination of piano, strings, and a thumping bass line. The upbeat attitude is enough to brighten anyone's day.
-
27
Love and Flowers
Simply one of my best melodies I've ever written. This song is entitled "Love and Flowers", because it is such a sweet and relaxing song, that there's no better way to describe it. An excellent thumping slap-like bass takes you through the entire piece, intertwined with the lovely sounds of a xylophone, a beautiful bell pad, and an airy flute. You can't get any more atmospheric than this, so sit back, relax, sleep if you'd like, and enjoy "Love and Flowers".
-
26
Dream Ended
Originally entitled "Dream Ends Monday", this dream inspired piece was taken from a Zan One Hour Compo. With three different types of pianos, a synthetic oboe, and lots of changing melodies, the emotion in this is easily recognizable.
-
25
The Naked Mistress
Another piece taken from a Zola One Hour Compo entrant, this piece has one of those melodies that can grow on you. Complete with a piano and dream synth, this strange tune is quite catchy.
-
24
The Other Side
Originally a Zan One Hour Compo entry, this piece fills your ears with synthetic harmony, revealing what it's like on "The Other Side". All of the original instruments were kept in the piece, making for a small file size.
-
23
On Fire - Part V - Fire Of The Past
The critically acclaimed "On Fire" series returns with the fifth piece, "Fire Of the Past". This song features moving melodies, rolling synths, and a new theme for the future. Will this reflection have any bearing on the future?
-
22
Lifetimes - Extended Club Mix
A remix of the melodic wonder, "Lifetimes". Now in techno style, the Extended Club Mix brings you club synths, resonant basslines, and thumping drums. A nice first attempt for techno!
-
21
Forever and Always
This awesome piece is another full vocal track by The Nightstalker. This track includes some background vocals as well, giving the piece a very harmonic and personal touch. Love is a feeling best shared "Forever and Always".
-
20
The Sequel to Untitled
This piece was originally written for Zola's 2nd Sunday Afternoon One Hour Compo. This song actually took only 50 minutes to complete, and is in it's unedited version. I can think of no other way to improve upon this. Enjoy this slow ambient piece.
