The Prickly Pair is an Americana duo based in Nashville, made up of Irene Greene and Mason Summit. The two met as students at the USC Thornton School of Music, where they teamed up for a class assignment before eventually becoming a couple. After pursuing separate musical paths, they came together to explore what they could create as a duo. Since relocating from Los Angeles to Nashville, they have continued to develop their sound; with their latest EP, The Prickly Pair, being released in 2025.

Timbo is born and raised in Music City, USA, and as a singer, songwriter, performer, and guitar player, he is a much respected and beloved part of that community. His debut EP, Brand New Feeling, was released in 2020 to critical acclaim. He has subsequently released several singles, the latest of which, "If Your Bed Still Rocks at Night", was released in March of this year.

Ben Robinson is a bass player originally from Greenville, South Carolina, now based in Nashville, Tennessee. He works as both a live and session musician, performing across a wide range of styles. Since moving to Nashville, he has become an active part of the local music scene, playing on stages and sessions throughout the city while continuing to develop his career as a musician and songwriter.

Lucas Eason is a singer/songwriter from Houston, Texas, now based in Nashville, Tennessee. His debut album, San Marcos to Houston, was released in 2016. His latest single, “Due Time,” was released last year.

Dennis Crouch is one of Nashville’s most respected and in-demand upright bass players, known for his work with Johnny Cash, Robert Plant, Elton John, Alison Krauss, Willie Nelson, and countless others, as well as a longtime collaborator of producer T Bone Burnett. A cornerstone of the sound on Raising Sand, Crouch has helped shape some of the most timeless records in modern Americana.

Ben Chase is Canadian songwriter and performer. Originally from Prince Edward Island and now based in Nashville, Ben works as both an artist and a writer. He has had multiple songs reach #1 on the Canadian iTunes Country Charts and has continued to build his own catalog of releases. Since moving to Nashville, he has spent time writing and collaborating with artists and songwriters around town while developing his career in both Canada and the U.S. His debut album, That Was Then, This Is Now, was released in 2023.

Jessica Willis Fisher is a singer/songwriter and author. She first performed as a member of The Willis Clan before stepping into her own career as an artist and writer. She has released two albums under her name, Brand New Day (2022), and Blooming (2025). Her memoir, Unspeakable: Surviving My Childhood and Finding My Voice, was released in 2022.

Luke Uzzell is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter originally from North Carolina. A Navy veteran, he moved to Tennessee to attend Belmont University, where he studied songwriting. His EP Good Things Take Time was released in 2024. Now immersed in the Nashville music scene, Luke collaborates with a range of country artists, continuing to develop his sound and craft.

Ashley Abernathy works as a Production Coordinator for the Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville, Tennessee. She has worked in Artist Relations, Hospitality, and as a Personal Assistant in the music business.

Alex Buchanan is a Nashville-based bassist. He performs regularly around town with artist such as Austin Stambaugh, Zach Bryson, Dani Rae Clark, Jim McGuinn, and others.

Bird is an English/Irish cellist, singer/songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. She’s written and collaborated with artists including Andy Dunlop (Travis), James Dean Bradfield (Manic Street Preachers), Charlie Sexton (Bob Dylan), and John Paul White (The Civil Wars). Her newest single, “The Boy And The Swan,” was released on January 23rd, 2026.

Andi Jane is a Nashville-based singer/songwriter, pianist, and washboard player known for her genre-bending blend of classic country, bluegrass, and cabaret-style Americana. After co-founding the Americana duo Catfish Seminar, she emerged as a solo artist in 2023 with her debut single “Hide The Key.” She followed that with the live EP The Great Peacock Farm, and her debut album is set to release in 2026.

Zach Bryson is a Nashville-based singer/songwriter. His album Beauty Songs For Sweet was released in 2022, followed by Live at Little Hill Lounge (2024). He continues to build a name as an independent artist in the Nashville scene.

Jeremy Ivey is a Nashville-based singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who first emerged playing in bands like Buffalo Clover and touring as guitarist for his wife, Margo Price. He has released solo albums including The Dream and the Dreamer, Waiting Out the Storm, and Invisible Pictures on ANTI- Records. His new album, Its Shape Will Reveal Itself, releases February 13 on Soggy Anvil Records.

Jay Bragg is a third-generation songwriter and showman that moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 2015. As frontman for North of Nashville, Jay opened for acts such as Dierks Bentley, Gary Alan, Brothers Osborne, and Chris Stapleton, and as a solo artist, he opened up arena shows for Alan Jackson.

Jim Gray is the founder of Gray Artist Services and Redwood Highway Records, where he works closely with artists on development, branding, and long-term career strategy. He joins us to talk about the state of modern artist development, the tools independent musicians actually need, building sustainable careers in today’s landscape, and the philosophy behind Redwood Highway.

Joe Wunderle is a songwriter and guitarist originally from northeast Ohio, now based in Nashville. He’s released albums including Nowhere From Here (2020) and Times Are Strange (2021). His newest album, Here To Stay, was released earlier this year. Joe blends folk, country, blues, and bluegrass, with live-recording projects like The Magnolia Sessions capturing his stripped-down approach to music.

Chris Weisbecker is a drummer and producer that has worked with artist including Sterling Drake; Hannah Juanita, Teddy and the Rough Riders, Tony Hannah, Jim McGuinn, and many others. Originally from New Jersey, Chris moved to Nashville in 2019 and has since become an integral part of the country music scene and beyond.

Will Allison is the upright bassist and front man for the Nashville trio Wild Bill and the Bruisers. The band has built a deserved reputation for rowdy, unforgettable live shows that have made them one of the most exciting acts in Music City. Their debut album, Cuttin' the Mustard was released this past year.

Sarah Rudy is a West Virginia–based singer/songwriter, guitarist, and the frontwoman of the indie/alt-rock band Hello June. Hello June’s latest album, Artifacts, was released in October 2023 to strong notices from outlets including NPR and No Depression.

Jack Settle is a Nashville-based country artist originally from Oklahoma. Since 2017, he has released an EP, a full-length album, and several singles, including his 2023 single “Prairie Land.” A 2024 finalist at Tennessee Songwriters Week, he has taken his songs to local venues like the Bluebird Café, and he has performed across ten states.

Goldpine is a husband-and-wife Americana duo based in Nashville, Tennessee. Their high‑energy performances and tight harmonies have taken them across the country, from intimate listening rooms to major folk festivals. Known for their rich harmonies and heartfelt songwriting, they blend folk, country, and roots influences into their sound. Their latest album, Three, was released last month.

Nathan Belt is a Nashville-based country artist and the frontman of Nathan Belt & the Buckles. Originally from Texas, he has become a staple on Lower Broadway, performing at iconic spots like Robert’s Western World and the Nashville Palace. His latest single, “I Had My Heart On Something Else,” was released in last month.

Peyton Heben is an A&R coordinator and an artist manager originally from Fort Myers, Florida, and now based out of Nashville, Tennessee. He works in helping to develop and guide talent from behind the scenes in the world of country music.

Casual Drifter is the musical project of Ben Land, a songwriter based out of Nashville, Tennessee. Blending elements of country, folk, and rock, his work draws from a wide landscape of American songwriting tradition. His latest single, “Goin’ For Broke”, released a few weeks ago, and he has more new music dropping shortly.

Parker James is a vibraphonist, percussionist, and composer based out of Nashville, Tennessee. His album, Afterglow, featuring Paul DeFiglia and Caleb Breaux, was released in 2024. He is a bandleader and also an in-demand sideman and session musician.

Jack Studer is a singer/songwriter based out of Nashville, Tennessee. His debut, self-titled album was released in 2022, and his newest EP, Diggin' for Dirt, was released this previous year. He has a growing presence in the Nashville scene, with his sound blending country, folk, and rock influences.

Dillon Johnson is a Nashville-based drummer currently touring with Colton Dixon. Originally from Kansas City, Dillon’s played massive stages across the country. Whether in the studio or on the road, he’s built a reputation as a solid and dependable player in the pop and Christian music scenes.

Eliza Thorne is a singer/songwriter originally from North Carolina, now based in Nashville, Tennessee. She has collaborated with artists like Gabe Lee and Timbo and has been carving out a name for herself in the city’s songwriting circles. Her debut album, Somebody New, was produced by Mose Wilson and released last year.

Sterling Drake is a Montana-born, Nashville-based singer/songwriter whose music blends classic country, Americana, and Western influences. Drawing inspiration from artists like Willie Nelson, Townes Van Zandt, George Jones, and Ian Tyson, his songs reflect a strong connection to tradition and place. Beyond music, Sterling is actively involved in land conservation and mental health advocacy within rural communities. His latest album, The Shape I’m In, was released earlier this month.

Cristina Vane is a Nashville-based singer/songwriter whose music fuses Delta blues, Appalachian folk, and rock. Born in Italy and raised across Europe, she is a skilled slide guitarist and banjo player. Cristina cut her teeth busking on the Venice Beach Boardwalk before releasing her debut album, Nowhere Sounds Lovely, in 2021. Her latest record, Hear My Call, was released earlier this year. She has shared the stage with Bob Weir, Wynonna Judd, and Cass McCombs.

Mallory Eagle is a singer/songwriter originally from Oklahoma City. She began performing at a young age, singing in church and at bluegrass festivals before joining the band Cimmaron Station at 17. After earning a degree in vocal performance from the Academy of Contemporary Music at UCO, she released her debut album Red Dirt Home in 2018. Since moving back to Oklahoma City via Nashville, Mallory has become a standout voice in the Americana and country scene, known for blending honky-tonk, country rock, and bluegrass. Her latest album, The Neon Waltz, was released in 2024.

Lyle Brewer is a guitarist, composer, and educator based in Boston, Massachusetts. Known for his virtuosic technique and genre-spanning style, Lyle has released multiple solo records and collaborated with a wide range of artists, as well as having previously played guitar for the band Neighbor. In addition to performing, Lyle is on faculty at Berklee College of Music, where he inspires the next generation of players with his unique musical voice and thoughtful approach to the guitar.

Hannah Juanita is a country singer/songwriter from the state of Tennessee. Now living in Nashville, she has toured heavily around the country since the release of her debut album, Hardliner, in 2021, headlining and supporting acts like Kaitlin Butts, Nick Shoulders, Emily Nenni, Summer Dean, Jesse Daniel & Kelsey Waldon. Her newest album, Tennessee Songbird, was released this past year.

Trent Gilbert is a guitar/pedal steel guitar player, songwriter, and producer based out of Nashville, Tennessee. Originally from South Carolina, he moved to Nashville to pursue a career in music, and has since become a major part of the country music scene in town.

Robbie Muzick is a singer/songwriter originally from Elyria, Ohio. He started playing guitar at the age of 6, and by 7, he was already on the road with his family’s Southern Gospel band. Robbie moved to Nashville, Tennessee, in 2010, and since then, he has become a staple workhorse in the music scene.

CJ Solar is a singer/songwriter from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to attend Belmont University, where he graduated with a degree in songwriting. Prior to graduating, he signed his first publishing deal. He has written songs for artists such as Jason Aldean, Jerrod Niemann, and Justin Moore, as well as #1 hits for Morgan Wallen and Jameson Rodgers. As a performing artist, CJ has opened for artists including Lynyrd Skynyrd, .38 Special, Gary Allan, Hank Williams Jr., and Chris Janson.

Patrick Weathers is an actor, comedian, and singer/songwriter born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. While living in New Orleans, he began working alongside acts such as The Meters and Run-DMC. From 1980-1981 he worked as a cast member on season 6 of Saturday Night Live. Since his departure from SNL, he has released three albums, and he continues to act and perform, such as in the Will Ferrell comedy, The Campaign. He also has a successful career in the art world, owning several galleries, as well as functioning as a major art dealer for the Picasso family.

Brett Strader is a guitarist based out of Nashville, Tennessee. He works with many artist in the country scene in town, as well as works as a freelance session player for styles of music ranging from country, rock, and jazz, to classical, and everything in between.

Rick West is a self-produced, multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee. His latest, lo-fi recorded album, Genuis was released in 2024. He has also released two collaborative albums with Scotty Malcolm: Rick & Scotty's Mind Melt Tape, released in 2021, and Rick & Scotty's Secret Color, that was released the same year.

Sam Kossler is a professional, touring pedal steel guitarist, now based out of Nashville, Tennessee. He has performed with various acts throughout the country.

Kat Iris is a singer/songwriter based out of Nashville, Tennessee. She works in the music industry as a marketing manager for an artist management company, where she deals with social media promotion, album campaigns, and graphic design. She also works as a freelance photographer/videographer in the Nashville music scene.

Mose Wilson is a Tennessee-native singer/songwriter, guitarist, and producer, now based in Nashville. His debut, self-titled album was released in 2021. He has produced for artists including Hannah Juanita and Eliza Thorn, and has also played guitar for many in the local country scene. His new album is set to be released later this year.

Sarah Johnson is a singer/songwriter from Dallas, Texas. She moved to Nashville, Tennessee this previous year to continue to pursue her music career. She has since become a part of the country music scene here, where she and her songs have been happily welcomed,

Mark Thornton is a guitarist, producer, and engineer based out of Nashville, Tennessee, where he runs his studio, Sidekick Sound. He has played and produced for countless artists, and notably as Jerry Reed's guitar player for more than a decade. Mark is a pivotal and vital part of the Nashville country music scene.

Matthew Welde is singer/songwriter and guitar player from New York City. After years of splitting time between New York City, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where he still currently resides and is an active part of the local music scene.

Daniel Haymore is a pedal steel guitar and banjo player from the foothills of North Carolina. He is currently based out of Nashville, Tennessee, where he performs for various artists.

Sweet Megg is a vocalist and songwriter originally from New York City, now based in Nashville, Tennessee. Since her debut jazz album, Under the Moonlight was released in 2020, Megg has released a total of five albums, with a new original album, produced by Mose Wilson and Dennis Crouch, set to be released later this year.

Kyle Cox is a jazz songwriter/performer based out of Nashville, Tennessee. While his entrance into the music scene was through the folk-Americana fringes, he has since fully embraced the modern jazz standard. His newest single, “Do You Think That Santa Celebrates Halloween?”, released November 29th.
