Day 19 -Courage Over Comfort — Fear is Normal, Obedience is Holy

Episode SummaryIn this episode, Noah Love invites us into a timely and transparent conversation about fear, obedience, and the holy courage it takes to follow God’s instruction — especially when it doesn’t make sense on paper.Through Joshua 1:9, Noah shares how “fear is normal, but obedience is holy.” He opens up about taking bold steps in business and faith — including hiring his first personal assistant even when the numbers didn’t seem to add up. The lesson?God’s direction rarely arrives in comfort. Courage doesn’t come without uncertainty — it’s choosing trust over logic and presence over panic. This episode is a call to every builder and believer to show up despite fear and trust that God has already worked it out.💡 Key TakeawaysFear is natural, but obedience is sacred. God doesn’t ask us to feel fearless — He asks us to move anyway.Courage begins where comfort ends. Growth will always stretch you beyond the familiar.Obedience guarantees provision. If God commanded it, He’s already accounted for it.Presence is power. When you stay in the moment, you give God space to move.🪞 Reflection Prompt“What bold step are you avoiding?”Ask yourself:Where have you been reasoning with God instead of trusting Him?What move has He already commanded that you’ve been postponing out of fear?✨ Noah’s Reflection“Fear is normal. Obedience is holy.God doesn’t need our logic — He needs our trust. When you move, even in uncertainty, you make room for His promise to perform.”Noah reminds us that obedience isn’t about having it all figured out — it’s about taking the next right step in faith. Day 18 -Direction Will Come — God’s Voice Isn’t Loud, It’s Leading

Episode SummaryIn Day 18 of Rooted & Rising, Noah Love unpacks the quiet yet powerful truth that God’s voice isn’t loud — it’s leading.Through Isaiah 48:17, Noah explores how divine direction rarely comes as a booming command, but as a gentle pull in our emotions, instincts, and daily decisions. Whether it’s a move, a relationship, or a business shift — God often leads through the small, sacred nudges we tend to overlook. This episode speaks directly to dreamers, doers, and believers learning to follow God’s whisper in a noisy world.💡 Key TakeawaysGod’s voice is subtle but sure. It’s not always audible — sometimes it’s the emotion, the restlessness, or the peace you can’t explain.Obedience begins with awareness. Pay attention to where your spirit feels led, not where your logic feels comfortable.Divine direction isn’t random. Every detour, delay, and desire has a divine purpose behind it.Your emotions aren’t distractions — they’re data. God uses them to steer you toward alignment.🪞 Reflection PromptWhere do you need divine strategy in your work?As you plan, build, and prepare for what’s next, ask yourself:What is God asking me to adjust? Where is He redirecting my energy?✨ Noah’s Reflection“God’s voice isn’t loud — it’s leading. It’s not meant to overwhelm you; it’s meant to guide you toward peace. Sometimes that direction comes disguised as rest, release, or redirection.”🙏🏽 Closing ThoughtIf you’ve been waiting for a sign — this is it.Direction will come. 📖 ScripturePsalm 1:3 — “He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.”🪴 Episode ThemeStay planted in truth — the fruit will come. This episode of Rooted & Rising reminds us that when we remain rooted in God, love, and truth, growth is inevitable. The blessings (the fruit) may not appear immediately, but staying faithful to the process ensures that what we’ve planted will eventually bloom.Noah shares personal stories of faith, recovery, and discipline — including how training his body years before his coma became a divine act of preparation for survival and healing. This powerful testimony reframes endurance as evidence of being “planted by living water.”💡 Key TakeawaysYour roots matter more than your reach. Rooted & Rising: Day 7 — Peace Over Pressure

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28I used to think rest was weakness. That if I wasn’t constantly working — for my clients, my company, my dreams — I was falling behind. But Matthew 11:28–30 met me in a season when I was burnt out, physically and spiritually. I was trying to be everything for everyone — and it almost cost me my life.“I ended up in two comas back to back because I was trying to be all things to all people.”That moment changed everything for me.It was the first time I truly heard God say, “Stop. Let me carry this.”🌿 When Rest Becomes HolyGod doesn’t just call us to work — He calls us to rest.We often forget that rest is part of the rhythm of creation.God worked six days and rested on the seventh — not because He was tired, but because He was finished. That same principle applies to us.There comes a point when we’ve done what we can do, and the rest belongs to God.“Rest is just as holy as work. In fact, rest is working — because when we rest, God gets to do His part.” 🕊 Release the HustleThere’s a lie we’ve all been sold — that hustle equals purpose. But the truth? Hustle without peace is bondage. When you’re constantly overextending, worrying, or questioning whether you’re enough, you’re operating from fear, not faith.I had to learn that the what ifs — the uncontrollable parts of my story — belong to God.“The inevitable, the unknown, the what if — that is the space where God exists.” And when I finally stopped trying to control everything, I realized — peace is the reward for surrender.💭 What’s Draining Your Spirit?Today’s reflection is simple, but powerful:What’s draining your spirit right now?Maybe it’s work.Maybe it’s your need to be perfect.Maybe it’s the fear of failing before you’ve even started.Whatever it is — give it to God.“Because it’s only draining you because it’s not yours to deal with.” Rest in what you’ve already done. Trust that it’s enough. And remember: You can’t heal or hear God in chaos.🌸 Final ThoughtYou don’t have to fix everything. You don’t have to know how it’s going to work out.You just have to rest — and let God do what only He can do.Peace over pressure. Whether it’s a career move, a relationship decision, or a spiritual pivot, this episode reminds listeners that even in confusion, God gives direction.Through personal stories about risk, expansion, and trust, Noah offers both honesty and encouragement — showing how divine guidance often shows up in the smallest nudges.Key Takeaways:🌿 Even in confusion, God gives direction.✨ Faith isn’t about perfection; it’s about presence.💡 Making a decision isn’t about knowing the outcome — it’s about trusting the One who guides it.🙏 God will never let you stray too far from His grace.Reflection Prompt:“What step is God nudging you to take this week?”Think about the decision you’ve been avoiding — the one that’s been quietly tugging at your spirit. Rooted & Rising: Healing the Wounds

“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”— Psalms 34:18 (NIV)Healing is messy — but God is close to the mess. That’s not just a line I wrote for this devotional; it’s something I’ve lived. There were seasons in my life where I believed my relationship with God depended on perfection — that my prayers had to be polished, my Bible worn with use, and my emotions neatly contained. I thought faith required performance. But what I’ve learned, especially in my wilderness seasons, is that God doesn’t meet us in our performance. He meets us in our pain.🕊 When the Mess Met MercyThere were moments when I was sure I’d disappointed God — when I was lost in grief, shame, and cycles I couldn’t seem to break. But those were the moments He sought me out most clearly. When I felt broken, He sat with me.When I isolated myself, He sent people who saw me.When I thought I’d ruined it all, He whispered, “You’re still mine.”“I saw God sit down with me. I saw Him call me to greater heights… remind me of how much He loves me and how much all of this is working in my favor.” transcript_2025-10-23T14_08_15.…That’s what healing looked like for me — not a straight path or clean slate, but a slow, sacred reconstruction.💔 Healing Isn’t PrettyWe love to glamorize healing. We post about it. We talk about “soft seasons” and “boundaries.” But the real healing — the deep, God-ordained kind — isn’t cute. It’s not linear. It’s tears on the bathroom floor. It’s losing friends. It’s confronting truths about yourself you once avoided. And yet, it’s in that chaos that God draws closest. He doesn’t flinch at the mess. He sits in it with you — holding your heart steady while He rebuilds what broke.“Your mess is the space in which God will seek you.” transcript_2025-10-23T14_08_15.…That truth saved me.Because it means I don’t have to earn God’s proximity — I just have to be honest enough to stay where I am.🌱 Healing Means Asking New QuestionsFor years, I wrestled with questions like:“Was I not enough?”“Why didn’t they choose me?”“Why didn’t they change?”But the more I grew, the more my questions changed. Now, I ask:“What hurt them?”“How can I forgive them?”“How can I be part of their healing?”That shift didn’t come from therapy or self-help books — it came from sitting with God in silence long enough to realize that healing isn’t about getting answers. It’s about being made whole.🕯 Trusting God’s DistanceOne of the most healing revelations I’ve ever had was this:When God feels far away, it’s often because He trusts me.Like a parent removing the training wheels, He knows I’m ready. He’s not punishing me with silence — He’s preparing me for strength.“There are so many points in my life where I thought God had abandoned me. And I am realizing those are the moments that God trusted me so much with what He had called me to.” transcript_2025-10-23T14_08_15.…That perspective shift healed the ache of waiting. It helped me see that even when God steps back, He never steps out.💭 Reflection: Write a Prayer for the Parts That Still HurtIn this episode, I challenged listeners to write a prayer for the parts of themselves that still hurt. Here’s mine:“God, I thank You that I am loved. That I am capable of loving even in my brokenness.I thank You for trusting me enough to let me walk through healing without needing to be perfect.I thank You that my brokenness is not a barrier but a bridge — a way for others to see Your grace.”🌤 Final ThoughtHealing the wounds — especially the ones no one sees — requires courage. But it’s not a solo process. God doesn’t wait for you to come clean before He comes close. He meets you right there — in the questions, in the quiet, in the chaos. So, take a deep breath. You don’t have to have it all together. You just have to be willing to be seen.“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”He’s near, friend — always near.🎧 Listen: Rooted & Rising: Healing the Wounds (Day 3)Scripture: Psalm 34:18Prompt: Write a prayer for the parts of you that still hurt.Follow: @iamnoahlove | #RootedAndRising #FaithAndFocus #HealingJourney This is a public episode.
