Probablemente lo primero que nos vienen a la cabeza cuando pensamos en la palabra Caridad sea esa actitud de compasión y solidaridad hacia el prójimo, especialmente si este está pasando por un momento difícil de sufrimiento o adversidad, y la verdad es que esta definición no está del todo alejada de la realidad. Sin embrago he aprendido que la palabra Caridad proviene del latín Caritas o Caritatis, y significa amor incondicional. Lo interesante de esta etimología es que deja relegada a lo superficial la concepción de Caridad como mera Solidaridad. Teológicamente se nos describe la caridad como un amor puro, ese que solo podemos experimentar de parte de nuestro Salvador Jesucristo. For me, movement means being dynamic, being active, finding the momentum needed to move forward in the several aspects of our lives, the opposite of stagnation and sedentary lifestyles. All of this involves finding motivation and drive, accompanied by great willpower to progress and evolve as human beings, both personally and professionally. On this occasion, I would like to present a cover of the opening theme of the anime ORB: On the Movements of the Earth, a historical, science fiction, and mystery series that debates the heliocentric theory, proposing that the earth revolves around the sun and the implications of such claims in medieval times, when it was considered heresy by the church and political power. Para mí el movimiento implica ser dinámico, estar activos, encontrar el impulso necesario para avanzar en los diversos aspectos de nuestra vida, todo lo contrario al estancamiento y al sedentarismo. Todo esto implica a su vez encontrar motivación e ímpetu acompañados de una gran fuerza de voluntad para progresar y evolucionar como seres humanos, tanto en el ámbito personal como profesional. En esta ocasión quiero presentarles un cover del opening del anime ORB: Sobre los Movimientos de la Tierra, una serie del género histórico, ciencia ficción y misterio donde se debate la teoría Heliocéntrica que propone que la tierra gira alrededor del sol y las implicaciones de tales afirmaciones en la época medieval, cuando era considerado una herejía por la iglesia y el poder político. Es un gran placer estar con ustedes en ocasión de participar en el Hive Music Festival, algo que había querido hacer desde hace tiempo y que finalmente hoy tengo la oportunidad, sé por buenas referencias que este concurso cuenta con mucha receptividad y calidad por el talento que se demuestra en cada edición. Estamos en la semana 151 round 1, y que mejor momento para compartir mi presentación con la comunidad. Viendo las participaciones de otros usuarios puedo ver que este festival musical tiene una dinámica muy buena, que nos permite ver cada semana grandes talentos del ecosistema de Hive expresando su arte. Pienso que estas iniciativas enriquecen mucho a los músicos de la plataforma porque nos ofrecen una gran oportunidad de proyección, diversificación y desarrollo. Para esta ocasión les traigo un cover en guitarra electroacústica y voz de la canción Somewhere Only We Know de la banda inglesa de rock alternativo Keane, perteneciente al álbum Hopes and Fears, lanzado en el año 2004. Esta canción, como podremos recordar, se hizo muy popular a principios de los 2000, época en la que el rock alternativo tomó gran auge a nivel mundial. A mí en lo personal me trae gratos recuerdos y me transporta a una etapa muy bonita como lo es la adolescencia y sobre todo la manera como disfrutaba la música en ese entonces. Esta hermosa pieza nos habla básicamente de la añoranza de regresar a un lugar especial con un valor emocional y sentimental profundo para una persona y para quien entendemos es su enamorada, un sitio muy personal que solo ellos conocen y solían frecuentar, alejado de todo y de todos, en el que posiblemente puedan reconectar y darle una nueva oportunidad a una relación que parece estar pasando por dificultades. Generalmente cuando escuchamos la palara Rumor tendemos a darle una connotación negativa, y es que si puede considerarse así, especialmente cuanto se trata de habladurías no comprobadas que pueden llegar a afectar la reputación de una persona. Sin embargo, creo que un rumor en general puede no tener necesariamente un significado negativo, sino simplemente tratarse de murmullos y presunciones sobre cualquier tipo de situación sea buena o no tan buena. En fin, todo va a depender de la intencionalidad y las circunstancias. Para esta ocasión les traigo una canción que me gusta mucho del gran Gustavo Cerati, quien ya no se encuentra con nosotros en esta plano terrenal pero que ha dejado una huella imborrable y un legado extraordinario en el rock latinoamericano.
