Saavan

Lucas Mokrani & Claire Lengaigne met during some holidays at a mutual friend’s place in the mountains a quickly started to work on some demos together. The ambivalence, between one’s rage and the other’s softness, is what makes Saavan’s sound : atmospheric layers of soft sounds meeting deconstructed rythms and strong bass. Saavan’s work seems to be heading toward one goal : creating the soundtrack of our memories. After two EP's and the release of their first album on Yotanka Records in 2022 : CHAPTERS, they've decided to change things up. In order to release music more often, and to stop worrying about which song could fit in a bigger project, they came up with a new challenge : one song every three weeks, for a year. "WHEN I FALL" the second of the series, is out now!
