He was the founder of WGGL FM in 1968, the first FM station in the Keweenaw Peninsula and one of the earliest in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. On the intellectual dissolution that is occurring in Western culture at large. This intellectual degradation has happened despite the rich tradition of reason that the West has inherited from prior centuries. The intellectual life of Christendom should have continued to grow more consistently, yet has in some ways peaked prior to and during the Enlightenment and come to decline with the rise of dualistic, reductionist thought which sought to uplift reason but has instead left it with nothing to stand on.
