Sermons from Pinelands Baptist
by Pinelands Baptist Church
Reproducing the full life of Jesus by discipling one another in missional congregations where everyone knows your name.At PBC our longing is that people encounter the Lord Himself. We regularly pray that someone who joins us will be drawn to some inescapable conclusions:“God is really among you!”“Look how you love one another!”And that after ministry their sense would be that “God did that!” This leaves us dependent upon God because ultimately it is about whether He does this or not.We are passionate about the “finished product”, which ironically is something that will never be finished in this life. That “product” is not a big congregation or a new building or great services or a profile in the community. The “product” is ultimately personal and concerns who and what we are becoming. We believe that we are on this earth to discover, live out and pass on what it means to be whole-hearted followers of Jesus.Sunday services are:CLASSIC - 9am (WhatsApp)EXPLORE - 9am (Pinehurst Pr

10.05.26 (Evening) Exodus 6v20; Exodus 2 v 1-10
This Mother’s Day sermon explores how a mother’s faith can shape the course of history. In the midst of fear and uncertainty, Jochebed, the mother of Moses, understood that the child she carried ultimately belonged to God, and her faith moved her to act with courage and trust. The message also highlights the quiet, unscripted courage of the women God used to preserve Moses’ life - even when it meant defying the law. Their faithfulness became part of God’s greater purpose. As parents, there comes a point where we reach the limit of what we can do for our children and must place them into God’s hands. Do we trust Him to carry them where they are meant to go?

10.05.26 (Morning) Genesis Ch 16
Genesis 16 -The God Who Sees Me. This Mothers' Day sermon explores the story of Hagar, a slave and foreigner in a patriarchal society. She is called to walk a painful and difficult road, yet in the middle of her suffering, God meets her personally as “the God who sees me.” Though overlooked and mistreated by people, she is fully seen and known by God. In contrast, Sarah exposes the gap that can exist between speaking about God’s promises and trusting Him in everyday life. This sermon invites us to turn toward the God who sees us in our wilderness moments and to respond with renewed faith, trust, and passion.

03.05.26 (Evening) Living in the In-Between. Acts 1: 1-14
In Acts 1:1–14, the disciples find themselves in the space between promise and fulfillment . What does it mean to live faithfully when there’s no visible proof yet? The Christian life is not built on having all the answers, but on trusting the One who does. This sermon explores how we hold onto trust in seasons of waiting, asking: will you trust God in the midst of unbelief, pray before you see results, and obey even before you feel ready?

03.05.26 (Morning) How Do You Deal With Doubt? John 20:19-31
This sermon confronts the reality of doubt in a world filled with suffering, unanswered questions, and personal pain. Faith can feel fragile, yet doubt is not foreign to the Christian life; it often walks alongside faith. The story of Thomas reminds us to show mercy to those who doubt. This sermon explores the tension between questioning and trusting, asking honestly: am I wrestling in faith, or turning away in disobedience? Through this, we reflect on the fragility of faith, the assurance Christ offers, and the ultimate glory of a faith that endures.

26.04.26 (Evening) The Story of Ruth
Inspired by the story of Ruth, this sermon reflects the truth that God is sovereign and in control, no matter what we face. What may seem like ordinary moments or ‘divine coincidences’ are actually part of a greater plan unfolding. Through every step, God was orchestrating a story that would ultimately point to salvation for the world. It’s a testimony of His unfailing love, woven through every detail - reminding us that His promises remain true.

26.04.26 (Morning) Freedom Fighters In God's Kingdom
Inspired by Galatians 5:1, Psalms 187, and Luke 22:49–53, this sermon reflects the call to live as freedom fighters in God’s Kingdom. As Christians, our freedom is rooted in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It’s a freedom already won, yet not fully realized - something we continue to grow into and walk out daily.

03.04.2026 - Good Friday 2026
This sermon explores God’s deep and deliberate desire to eliminate sin through the incarnation and sacrificial death of Jesus Christ. It reveals that salvation is not a passive act, but a profound and costly process-one that involves a supernatural battle between righteousness and evil. Through the coming of Christ, God steps into human history to confront sin at its root, ultimately overcoming it through the cross. Through Matthew 1:21 and Romans 5, we see Christ’s mission to save and the depth of God’s love displayed on the cross. Isaiah 55:5–6 calls us to respond urgently, reminding us that this victory invites us into redemption and new life.
