Sesame Street: Talk, Read, Write
Sesame Street Beginnings: Talk, Read, Write! is part of Every Day is a Reading and Writing Day, a bilingual (English and Spanish), multimedia initiative produced in partnership with the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF), that provides parents, caregivers, and facilitators with tools to support young children's early literacy development. This video is designed to help young children along the exciting path from listening and speaking – to reading and writing! It includes tips, information, and activities for making language and literacy a fun part of everyday life for children and families. Children and grownups can also enjoy watching the lovable Sesame Street Muppets as they reinforce important literacy messages through song and dance. Talk, Read, Write! was originally developed by Sesame Workshop and funded by The Prudential Foundation, and has been has been reviewed and endorsed by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
