This episode also features Nisha Satyamorthi, a model as well as an actress. Having been crowned Miss Universe Malaysia (Top 10) 2015 and Miss Malaysia Pancontinental 2015, today, the beauty queen is also a mother of a 2-year-old! The heart-tugging episode also reveals Nisha’s struggles into postpartum depression, upon the delivery of her first born. In Episode 11, the PRI-TEA ladies find out about her journey into motherhood thus far as well as her secret into slaying motherhood!

Instead, they choose to ask their listeners the following question: What is your outlet/avenue to express yourself best? The duo aim to acknowledge that this discovery in life, starts with an adventure and can possibly lead to a series of misfortunes, especially during times of distress. Hence, they go on a journey of revelation on what it meant to them, as they first started to hunt down for their fair share of a pie! This episode also features Malini. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a full time job, Malini brings the notch up a little further with her dedication to set aside most of her time to put out art pieces for the world. Based in Singapore, the Malaysian Artist specialises in contemporary art and custom artwork. In Episode 9, the PRI-TEA ladies find out how she has gone around nailing her self-expression over the years of exploring, discovering and honing her craft.

Hence, the duo whisk out some love, glitter and sparkle to bring an Episode that honours self-made individuals. Indeed, here’s a huge shoutout to all the wholesome girl boss energy out there. At Sit Still, Look PRI-TEA, Priya and Priyanka pride themselves for making the commitment slightly less than a year, as they basked in the glory of starting a Podcast of their own. Hence, they go ahead to share their bitter-sweet venture of running their very own brand today. This episode also features Mahalakshmi, better known as Maha. Formerly the 5th Runner Up in Ms Vasantham 2014 (Beauty Pageant), Maha has since come a long way after entering the Singapore Tamil Media Industry — Vasantham. Today, she is not only a highly influential personality in the social media arena, she is also an entrepreneur!  Maha had first kick started her journey as a freelance hairstylist, acquainting herself with the intricacies of hair care. After years of chemical damage to her own mane, she immersed herself in extensive research and practice, eventually transitioning into her beautiful crown of curly hair. This labour of love paved the path for her very own brand, Mane Game Singapore. Maha is also the Co-Founder of Mane Heaven Singapore. In Episode 8, the PRI-TEA ladies find out about her early exploration days into the Singapore Tamil Media Industry and later, delved into her self-sustained business line today.Disclaimer: This Episode was recorded in late 2022 before Maha was crowned as Mrs Influencer at the Mrs International Global 2023 Competition.     Send us Fan MailKicking off the brand new year, 2023, the PRI-TEA ladies are up for discussion on the following topic: The Defining Moment. For some, this could have been a moment worth looking back and celebrating. For others, this could also mean living with a permanent battle scar for the rest of their lives. Whatever it might be, the question remains as to how this moment has unravelled a better version of oneself. The duo are up for some tough discussion, as they open up their hearts to the way life has chosen to play out. This episode features Don Aravind as well. Aravind  started experimenting with video cameras at the age of 14. This interest pushed him to pursue a formal training in both traditional and digital filmmaking. He has since worked on more than 25 short films as a screenwriter and director. Aravind currently directs for television and commercial content while still contributing to the independent film arena. Having studied and worked together over the last four years, Priya and Priyanka have commonly shared conversations with pivotal figures in their life. Be it the one who started the friendship of this duo, the one who allowed them to work in their first documentary film or the one who shaped the early phases of their career, the conversations are fondly remembered for the good it brought upon them. Over the years, these conversations have since become a distant memory. Hence, ‘What do I do now’ prides itself in picking up conversations from where it was last left. The duo have since embarked on a joint journey of tracing back the special humans in their lives, coupled with a dilemma they are dealing with currently.  They would then post the question —‘What do I do now’,  in order to rekindle the due perspective and insights of these pivotal figures.     EPISODE 6: The Adulting Mayhem

One that can be defined as a transition from teenage years into the early years of adulthood. With adulthood becoming a puzzle to crack from then, the mayhem begins. This episode features Revathi Kalai. She is a senior financial consultant who left her “safe & secure” job previously, in order to pursue her ambition today. Having won prestigious awards, such as the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), Revathi continues to be known to many as a successful financial consultant. She is also a well-versed figure on social media, titled as ‘Finance with Rev’, her videos highlight how one can equip themselves to be financially savvy. In Episode 5, the PRI-TEA ladies find out from her how the adulting mayhem ride can be dealt better by knowing what goes behind pursuing a dream job and how to approach dealing with financial matters.

    EPISODE 5: Deepavali Special with Elakeyaa Selvaraji

    Send us Fan MailIn the month of October, the PRI-TEA ladies are up for a time of celebration as they embrace the festival of lights. In line with Deepavali, Episode 5 goes out as a special episode with the PRI-TEA ladies. After a 4-year-gap since their anchoring days back in Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s Campus Radio Station —Radio Heatwave, where the duo hosted in Tamil, this episode serves as a comeback with their discussion exchanged in Tamil. This episode features Elakeyaa Selvaraji. Elakeyaa started out her career with Mediacorp as a Tamil journalist and moved her way up to take on several roles. Elakeyaa is a well-rounded media professional with extensive experience in TV, digital and current affairs newsrooms. She covered ‘live’ breaking news events such as the passing of Singapore’s founding Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew, the 2015 Singapore General Elections, anchored key shows such as Ask the Minister – Budget programmes and hosted weekly current affairs programme “Ethiroli” for more than 3 years. She has interviewed key political figures such as Minister S Iswaran, Minister K Shanmugam, and travelled overseas with former President Tony Tan to New Delhi for media coverage. Currently, she anchors CNA’s (Channel News Asia) Asia Now bulletins. In Episode 5, the PRI-TEA ladies have an hour long discussion with Elakeyaa, centering the episode around her solely.

    EPISODE 4: Redefining Beauty

    Send us Fan MailIn the month of September, the PRI-TEA ladies are up for discussion on the following topic: Redefining Beauty. The duo travel back in time to discuss how they had previously defined beauty back then, as 16 year olds. This in fact falls as contrast to the beauty standards and the views they hold for themselves today. Eventually, paving the path into successfully redefining beauty for themselves now. This episode features Lavania Priya as well, a freelance professional model. She has held titles of being former Miss Universe and Miss Earth finalists for Singapore, Miss Glamorous titleholder of Miss Indian International (2012). Her expertise includes being a certified professional makeup artist and fashion stylist. Currently, also the owner of Lavly lips and Lirio Vania. This year, the #MomBoss was crowned as the 2nd Runner Up for Mrs Singapore World 2022. In Episode 4, the PRI-TEA ladies dig deeper into Lavania’s pageant journey and times that she felt tested to redefine beauty for herself.

    EPISODE 3: Perspective

    Send us Fan MailThe last solo episode is completed with Priya’s finale in the month of August before the duo join forces once again. Titled "Perspective: Prison or Passport", Priya sits down to share her journey in turning her own prison into her passport. The saying you live and you learn has never been truer as she opens up about her path in learning when to let go and when to hold on. This episode features Rajesh Kumar, a Fine Arts Graduate who is the co-founder of a contemporary bar in Singapore, Patina Bar. Priya grills him on his entrepreneurial journey, starting out as a local artist who eventually started his own bar and how he has incorporated his talents into ensuring Patina’s authenticity.

    EPISODE 2: The Underlying Truth

Titled as the underlying truth, Priyanka takes the opportunity to get vulnerable on this platform as she opens up her heart for listeners to get deep and close with her, over the last few months of 2022. Afterall, you don’t get a rainbow without a little rain, do you? This episode features Aswani Aswath as well, a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English Literature and a minor in Theatre Studies. She holds a Masters of Arts (Distinction) in Creative Writing from Goldsmiths, University of London. Priyanka talks all things creative with her, zooming into her recent play staged earlier this May: Strawberry Girls. One that was written and directed by Aswani, discussing menstruation being an awkward topic to bring up among the Indian community.

With Episode 1, being a comeback episode for Priya and Priyanka, since their journey as Radio Heatwave jocks came to an end in 2019, they open up on their evolved identities over the years. They also celebrate their 5 year-mark as friends and #hustlers in the media industry. This episode features Vithya Subramaniam as well, a doctorate student in Anthropology at the University of Oxford. She is currently back home in Singapore, on fieldwork. The PRI-TEA ladies find out about Vithya’s take on the topic of the month and highlight her project studies, centering around the materiality in the making, authorising, and perpetuating of 'Indian-ness' in Singapore.
