[slow down] is a podcast for the ones who feel life moves a little too fast. whether you’re a student, a creator, or just getting your life together, you know how chaotic things can get.this isn’t just talk — it’s reflection. it’s documentation. it’s about the creative process, personal growth, and everything in between. this is for the dreamers, the doers, the ones figuring it out and making it count. if that’s you... tap in and slow down.— d.

  1. 8

    [growing up and moving on.]

this episode dives somewhat into the real parts of growth — the awkward stages, the hard decisions, and the moments where you realize you can’t stay the same forever. i talk about what it feels like to outgrow old habits, old circles, and even old versions of myself, and how moving on doesn’t mean forgetting, it just mean improving yourself. it’s about finding peace in change, trusting the process, and reminding yourself that maturity ain’t just about age — it’s about what you choose to carry with you, and what you finally decide to leave behind.

  2. 7

    [loyalty and self-accountability.]

in this episode, i dive into how loyalty and self-accountability play a major role in the way we make choices and define our morals. we’ll look at how being loyal—to yourself and to others—can be both a strength and a weakness, depending on the situation. at the same time, self-accountability forces you to confront your actions, your slip-ups, and the standards you hold yourself to. together, these two traits can shape your decisions, your relationships, and ultimately the path you’re walking in life.

  3. 6

    [juh do it.]

sometimes we get caught up overthinking every little move — waiting for the “perfect” time, the “perfect” setup, the “perfect” version of ourselves. but truth is, that perfect moment don’t exist. this episode is all about shutting down the hesitation, quieting the excuses, and actually juh doing the thing. like nike said, just do it — but in our words: juh do it. i’m breaking down how action beats perfection every time.

  4. 5

    [wanting it all.]

in this episode, i’m really just letting my thoughts breathe. “wanting it all” is me being honest about that hunger we all feel — chasing success, chasing recognition, chasing better. but instead of rushing, i’m slowing down and unpacking what that really means for me. it’s not just about the future i’m working toward, but also about being grounded and appreciating the people i’ve already got around me.this one feels more personal and reflective, less about the grind and more about gratitude. it’s me reminding myself that while i do want it all, i can’t lose sight of the relationships and the moments that actually make the journey worth it. for some this may make sense, and for others, it won’t.

  5. 4

[support cost no $$ but only costs 1 second.]

support don’t gotta be money, a big speech, or something you save until somebody “makes it.” most times it’s as small as a second — a repost, a comment, a “bro i see you,” even just saying someone’s name in the right room. that one second can shift somebody’s whole energy, give ‘em the push to keep going when they were ready to fold. but people act like support takes something from them, like clapping for you too early means they losing something of their own. really, it costs nothing to show love — and it says way more when you don’t. the world got us thinking everything’s transactional, like “what do i get back?” instead of just lifting each other up because we can. but attention is the real currency now, and it don’t take much effort to spend it right. we scroll past friends chasing dreams, saving our claps for celebrities who don’t even know us. that’s backwards. the real power is making somebody feel seen before the world does. and that’s why i say support costs no money but only a second — because that little second might be the exact reason somebody doesn’t quit. if it costs you nothing, why keep it in your pocket?

  6. 3

[the creative process has drawbacks, i promise you.]

everybody loves talking about creativity until you realize it’s not all sunshine and inspiration. in this episode, i break down the messy, frustrating parts of the creative process from my personal experience + call myself out on my word — the burnout, the self-doubt, and the times you just want to throw it all away — and why it’s still worth pushing through. and like i said in the episode, remember to rest today.

  7. 2

    [pause for what tho???]

everybody telling us to “rest,” but don’t nobody tell you how. in a world that rewards hustle and grind 24/7, pressing pause feels like falling off. but what if rest ain’t weakness? what if it’s obedience? this episode is me breaking down burnout culture, unpacking why we tie our worth to productivity, and bringing it back to how to actually moves when we stop trying to do everything ourselves.

  8. 1

    [welcome to slow down.]

this just the warm-up. a little pilot episode to introduce who i am, what i’m about and what this pod is going to be, and why we need to slow down in the first place. i’m not here to lecture or fake-perform like i got all this wisdom. i’m the same as any one of you listening, maybe even worse. this here is about real life — documenting the ups, the lows, and the random conversations that make us better as people. if you want a fresh, new take on life, then tap in. and if you tired of rushing through life without even asking “why,” then yeah… this space for you.
