There are many different styles on Radio, but when you hit CCM, things tend to feel a bit dull....There is no denying that the majority of Christian songs on radio are starting to morph into one another and sound the same. They all seem to follow a similar thread in messaging and sound, turning more and more away. You want to play music with others, but either no one was time, or you can't find people dedicated to meeting consistently. However, the answer may just be under your nose. It can be a huge struggle to find a place plug in and play music consistently with others. Between conflicting schedules and not knowing tons of musicians, finding a group that you can get together with is often a loft challenge. This is where the worship team comes in. Even with our greatest efforts, we're bound to get writers block eventually, when we just feel sapped creatively. Songs can be a great way to process emotions. Writing your feelings and questions into lyrics can be therapeutic.Like journalling or talking with a friend, writing songs about how you feel can help you really get it out.
