Soulbound

Doctor Jaylin Glaslow is a well renowned historian aboard a space station known as the Deck. When he learns of robots who have begun to think and feel without the aid of AI or manmade devices, he is sent out to investigate why these robots have developed sentience through interviewing them on a desolate planet known as Last Stand, a place uninhabitable by organic life, but a great place for inorganic life to hide. Every week he interviews a new robot to learn about their planet and their past, hoping that maybe one day he’ll figure out what makes them work the way they do.

    Soulbound Returns

Hello world, long time no see. Or hear I guess. This is Olivia Jeske, the creator of Soulbound, here to give you a few updates. You may be wondering why we went radio silent. Well I’ve got good news, bad news, then good news again. We originally went silent because I needed to graduate college and wanted more time to focus, which, I have now done! That’s the first good news. The bad news was that after graduating college, I needed a job. And that part took… about 7 months? Give or take a few weeks? The good news is that I now have a job! So we are back on schedule to start producing more episodes. I’ve got the next four episodes all written out, the next episode mostly edited, and I’m scheduling our recording sessions as we speak. We’re also approaching our two year anniversary, and coming up on 2000 total streams across all episodes, which is a very wild metric for me to think about. Thank you for all the support, it means a lot to me to know that people care about my silly robots. In honor of these milestones, we’ll be launching our website sometime soon. I’ll let you know when exactly when we're ready. You’ll be able to find our cast list, a catalogue of episodes, and transcripts on the website, which will be updated regularly. Fair warning the transcripts might take a while to all be fully uploaded, we’ve got a lot of folks who like to improvise lines and were manually redoing a lot of our scripts to ensure they’re as accurate as possible. Thank you for being patient with us as we get everything back up and running. Our schedule is a bit erratic at the best of times, but I’m a firm believer that mental health should come before work. All this to say, Soulbound will be back this Friday on February 27th, and we will continue to try and release episodes every two weeks until the end of season 1, which should be about 11 episodes from now. Unless I decide to add more. Thank you again for listening. Good luck out there.

    Soubound Updates

Hello world! This is Olivia Jeske, the creator of Soulbound, dropping the curtain for a moment to give you a few updates on the series.  Firstly, we’ll be changing our upload schedule, starting October 16th we’ll be uploading biweekly on wednesdays instead of mondays. We’re a bunch of college students doing this for free in our spare time, and a new term just started so we have to swap things around. Thank you in advance for your understanding.  And secondly, we recently hit a thousand total listens across all of our episodes which is just an amazing milestone. I’d like to thank you all so much. This whole thing was started as a final project for an audio editing class and we’ve received an overwhelming amount of support for the series as a whole. Quite frankly I’m astounded by the amount of you choosing to stick around to learn about all my very silly robots. I’d love to encourage you to leave a comment or write us a review. Tell us who your favorite robot is or what you think is going to happen next, maybe even send us an email. We’d love to hear from you all. But that's the update, no new episode this week unfortunately, but we’ll be back on the 16th. Thank you all for the continued support, and as always, good luck out there.
