    "I Love You, I'm Glad I Exist"

Happy Valentine’s Lovers…Fin and I love love. Always have, always will - and so this week we call all the lovers out there to action. To the Good Ol' Days

When Finlay is settling in for a good old reminisce her voice changes, and I’m sure mine does too. We do those voices you do when you’re telling a story, evoking an emotional campfire and getting ready to gloss over the bad bits and cast a hazy glow on the good. But why do we do it? And why does history from on Nostalgia as a scourge of the mind? Is there any way to reminisce responsibly? Put on your rose tinted spectacles and cast a heady ear over this week’s Sunday Service. New Year... wait, New Month New Me?

For as long as I’ve known Finlay, she’s been staunchly anti the New Years Resolution. I, on the other hand, have always firmly believed that if I just think hard enough about it, I can transform my entire personality at the stroke of midnight on the 31st December. But what happens if it’s the 2nd February and you still not got started on your New Years’ Resolution? Is there any point getting back on the horse? And is there any value in wanting to set a goal and make a plan, even if you know deep down the weight of your own stubborn-ness means that the odds are stacked against you?Whatever the answer - make a resolution to listen to this podcast each week please! And subscribe wherever you get your podcasts… it’s got to be easier than taking up cross fit! This is a public episode. Climb Every (Cringe) Mountain!

What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you? I can tell you that Fin and I relieve countless contending moments every day and we barely touch the sides. But sometimes in life, you have to open your arms to the things that scare you, the things that make your cheeks flush red and your heart plummet. Sometimes… that’s the only way to get where you need to go.Also sorry about the crackle on this one - c’est la low-efford podcasting. This is a public episode. What's In A Name?

Today on Sunday service we interrogate: why is Finlay suddenly so possessive of her name? Why do people think Anna’s full name is her her middle name? Should we all have drag names? Are our personal brands beyond saving and is that something we should even have to spend our one wild and precious life even considering?Sit down for a deep dive into what being a person with a sound that indicates the sum total of their humanity means, as well as how we curate the impression that we give to the world. Basically: It’s hard to make yourself into a consumable soundbite and yet we keep trying (at least a little). If you enjoyed listening we’d love it if you could follow the pod and maybe let us know why you liked it.Thanks for listening, we love you, we’re glad we exist! You Should Be In The Club Right Now!

A couple of months ago, Finlay turned to me on Charing Cross Road and said “I just feel like I should be in the club right now”, and so the premise of our first episode was born. In many ways, Fin and I are the most fortunate people on the planet, we have a flat that we live in together, we have good jobs which we both like, and we have totally brilliant, bonkers, beautiful friends. However, we both find ourselves struck by the sense that we’re not enough, that we don’t have enough, aren’t doing enough, and are just generally behind on life… and when we speak to other friends we tend to find that they feel the same way. So in this first episode we dig into that and try and work out what exactly it is we think we’re meant to be doing, whether or not we should actually be doing it, and why it’s okay to feel confused and unsure and why in fact, it’s totally normal. If you enjoyed listening we’d love it if you could follow the pod and maybe let us know why you liked it. Thanks for listening, we love you, we’re glad we exist! This is a public episode.
