{Super} Married

We're one year into this podcast thing, and 6 months into parenthood! Despite some technical difficulties with sound, you might still find this episode interesting. 

Today we learn that James doesn't really know grammatical terms, and it's a bit embarrassing. New parenting goal: make sure the kids are able to do Mad Libs better than their dad.

We're back (again) after a bit of a break while we tried to figure out this twin parenting thing. This week we dive into marriage, Hamilton and Cincinatti sports - it's sure to be a thrilling listen :) 

Our wonderful babies have finally arrived! We snuck a few minutes out of our hectic baby schedule to share about their birth...now we're going to take a nap. 

Kate struggles to contain her laughter, as we discuss our early childhood friends. On a less funny note, we talk through a tramatic experience from the week and how each of us handled it.

Kate bakes cookies while we talk about entering into the final weeks of pregnancy...things are starting to get real around here! 

Take a break from politics and enjoy the latest updates as we enter the final month of pregnancy. The babies are almost here, but we still made time to host a pigs in a blanket party! 

In this episode we learn just how good Kate is at describing her favorite childhood restaurant(s). We also battle sickness, and start thinking about packing our bags for the hospital. 

With only 8.5 weeks until the babies are due, we wanted to take a moment to talk about spending quality time together, and also look at our life motto's (among other things). 

Trying something a little different this week with our first "Super Short" episode. We look back to early on in the infertility journey, leading up to our first visit to the fertility doctor. 

Full disclosure, we don't like the "Keep Calm" trend...but Kate is keeping pretty calm with this pregnancy thing so we'll give it a shot. We also discuss asking for permission from your spouse and people's reaction to that approach. 

This week we had the chance to put on a work event together, but also struggled through the added stress of pregnancy combined with moving and house projects. 

We're back after a slight delay due to moving and technical challenges! The pregnancy journey continues, leading to the challenge of knowing when to slow down, and we look back on the Olympics in Rio! 

It's time for the world to learn the gender(s) of our babies! We talk about other things as well like introverts and extroverts, and our favorite childhood toy, but we're most excited about the gender reveal. 

This week on Super Married, we dive into what we're proud of, and watch swimming in the Olympics. In baby news, Sprinkle (Baby A) gives us a health scare, causing Kate to have her first Mama Bear moment.

Baked goods seem to be a theme for this installment of Super Married. We share the nicknames of our babies and discuss angry parents that kick cakes. Oh, and we're moving because apparently babies need a bathtub.

We made it to episode 2 (and upgraded our technology)! This week we had the joy (and stress) of announcing our pregnancy to the world, but made sure to take time to celebrate with amazing food.

The pilot episode introduces the concept of Super Married and the baby surprise that is going to shape our lives.
