The classic story of love, death, redemption, and forgiveness. When the Otis Family moves to England, they buy the legendarily haunted Canterville Family estate. The ghost, Sir Simon Cantervile, instead of being an object of fear, becomes an object of scorn as the Otis Family refuses to take him seriously. Sir Simon is miserable until he meets Virginia, the Otis's only daughter. She shows Sir Simon kindness and leads him to peace.

Miles Standish and his band of warriors go on the defensive to secure peace and freedom for the villagers of Plymouth.

John and Priscilla have a long-needed talk about their relationship.

The Mayflower is preparing its return voyage to the homeland, and John Alden intends to board the ship. His resolve is shaken, however, when he sees Priscilla. The Pilgrims of Plymouth watch with sadness and resolve as their only means of rescue from the hardship and danger of the new world sail away.

The friendship between Miles Standish and John Alden is shaken when the Captain learns of Priscilla's choice. John Alden plans to leave Plymouth, and Miles Standish plans for war.

John Alden reluctantly goes to Priscilla to give her Captain Standish's proposal. Priscilla's answer surprises him and shakes him to his core.

Captain Standish declares his intention to ask Priscilla to marry him. He asks John Alden to deliver the message.
