Talking with Bunjie, the Death by Bunjie Podcast

In a Zoom trial run, the host joins Old Grumpy Hunter (Gary) to discuss crossbow hunting, arrow performance, and Gary’s use of the calculators on deathbybunjie.com, while also recapping a frigid Tioga Boar Ranch hunt where Gary took a large hog with his setup. LOL In all seriousness, it’s a good topic to discuss, and I hope my explanation clarifies what he might have missed. The Fourth Ever Death by Bunjie Meat & Greet is in the books! I am happy to say that in my opinion, and Bunjie’s opinion, it was a success! Twenty-two hunters joined me and Genevieve and The O.B. in the woods of Tioga County, PA. We braved the cold weather—a whopping 1º when we left for the Ranch, and it reached a balmy 15º for a high. Genevieve and I were out there for an hour waiting on a shot, but it paid off. Other hunters struggled through the cold with dead batteries, but we persevered! One such Meat & Greeter was Old Grumpy Hunter, aka Friend of Bunjie Gary. He and I chat about what worked and what didn’t on this outing.

I got a comment on a video from “@deanmccabe8783,” compaining, “Me or my grand kids don’t need to see a picture of a dead buck with blood all over and a big gash in its chest? Show some respect for our game animals or I’m canceling my subscription!” I’m not sure what part of “Death by Bunjie” you don’t understand, but that picture of a smiling Genevieve with her Ohio buck is, well…Death by Bunjie.
