Chris Worp is a global executive turned conservation-focused entrepreneur. After leadership roles at The Ocean Cleanup and Signify, he is now based in South Africa, where he combines conservation work with mission-driven ventures.  In this episode Chris tells us about his move from corporate life to conservation, and an idea he is developing for a new platform that puts a common data model underneath conservation work so that 1) projects can be matched to the right professionals and the right funding, 20 contracts are pre-populated from the data, and 3) every completed match feeds a learning loop that makes the next one better. Where conservation currently runs on networks and reputation, the platform builds a system that works for projects that are too small to be visible and too important to be ignored.
