    On August 8, 1996 in the Church of Santa Maria in Buenos Aires a consecrated host (the Eucharist) was reportedly dropped during Communion and, according to Church protocol, was placed in water to dissolve. Days later, it was said to have transformed into a piece of bloody flesh.In this episode, Ptony and Webby untangle the likelihood that this is a miraculous event at all.

    Miracles: Lanciano Itally Eucharistic Miracle

    The Eucharistic Miracle of Lanciano took place in 8th century Italy when a doubting priest witnessed the consecrated host turn into real human flesh and the wine into blood during Mass. The relics - still preserved today - have been scientifically analyzed and confirmed to be human heart tissue and blood type AB. This powerful sign continues to inspire faith in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist and draws pilgrims from around the world.
