We feel like this ep could be the demise of Teachers Talk Trash as we share our honest thoughts on Em Hen's latest rom com. We lament the bleak nature of online dating conversations, applaud but also cringe at Em Hen's inclusion of overly tall heroines and Cass questions why Jules still hasn't started Real Housewives of New York.

In this ep we discuss our thoughts on the Blake Lively/Justin Baldoni beef (2 months after everyone stopped caring), Jules goes on another rant about the criteria for an Oscar-winning performance and Cass leans into the Karen persona society has forced her to take on. It's not her fault, guys - it's society's. Formal apology from Jules for the excessive carrot eating in the recording, she was feeling snacky.

In this episode we discuss our 'Ins' and 'Outs' for the year ahead as we dive into one of Goodread's 'Most Popular Romance books' of 2024 with trepidation (Cass) and anticipation (Jules). In our latest and perhaps most chaotic instalment, we discuss the fine line between "hot protector" and toxic masculinity, ridiculous choices for character names and the inherent untrustworthiness of blonde men (is THIS why Jules is single??)

In this episode we chat all things enemies to lovers, 'wine man' and hedge funds (we're still not sure what Natalie does as a job and we're okay with that). A bonus ep because we were obsessed with this book and wanted to review it ASAP. For each category: 'The Plot', 'The Characters', 'The Funny' & 'The Spicy', we give them a rating out of 5 trashies.
