This week we talk about the new season of the live-action One Piece (I’m currently on episode four), the upcoming Love Is Blind reunion, and the new season of the Ted series. We also give a life update after our halfway baby appointment and talk about taking a little break from the diet. A mix of pop culture, life updates, and whatever else we spiral into.

This week had some big milestones. I finally hit the 175 lb range and I'm getting close to finishing my cut, which means we talk about all the foods I'm excited to eat again. Jerika is feeling the baby move around a lot more and we're realizing we're almost halfway through the pregnancy already. I also picked up the iPad I was talking about last week!

This week had a little bit of everything. Jerika started feeling the baby move, which made everything feel even more real. I hit a new bench press PR while still losing weight and have been putting real time into illustrating for a children’s book. We also talk about some unexpected hometown drama involving the creator of Squatty Potty, and we get into the new season of Love Is Blind and our thoughts on the couples so far. Then we get into a big personal milestone — I hit another weight loss goal and made a one-year comparison video, and the difference is honestly wild. We also talk about experimenting with low-calorie swaps like egg whites and keto bread, trying (and slightly failing) to make protein cookies, making some fire air fryer chicken, and I share an awkward Walmart interaction... Episode 75 was a big one. We recap the Super Bowl, talk about my cheat day, and finally show the video from our gender reveal. After weeks of anticipation and unexpected changes to our plans, we were finally able to celebrate the moment properly. This episode is full of excitement, reactions, and a little game-day chaos. We talk about watching The Housemaid (so good Jerika watched it twice), craving pizza and allowing some flexibility with diet, and doing a full Sunday house clean to reset our minds. We also reflect on how chores used to be the worst as kids — and how now, as adults with our own place, we’re responsible for everything. Plus, Jerika starts crocheting a blanket for our future baby, which officially feels like nesting season.

This week was quiet — but in the best way. We talk about sticking to daily goals, staying consistent with good habits, and hitting 194 pounds while keeping things sustainable. We also break down the new show His & Hers and react to the insane plot twist at the end. Sometimes progress isn’t loud or chaotic — it’s calm, steady, and actually working. This episode is all about that.

This week we went to our very first baby doctor appointment and got to see the ultrasound — such a wild and special experience. We also talk about staying consistent with diet and weight loss, practicing discipline with trading (even when that means not taking a trade), and stacking small daily wins like keeping a Duolingo streak going. Week 67 was all about slowing things down. We watched Black Phone 2, got back on the pickleball courts on our days off, finished most of our Christmas shopping, and started wrapping gifts. We even went fishing on a whim (no bites, unfortunately), and ended the week around a fire in my dad’s backyard making s’mores. Cozy vibes, small wins, and enjoying the simple moments — this one’s a chill catch-up episode.

Episode 66 starts with Andre admitting he accidentally spoiled Jerika’s Christmas gift years ago — the biggest fold of all time. Then we get into the new FNAF 2 movie, the movies we’re planning to see next like Zootopia 2 and Black Phone 2, and a weird glitch where the song “Golden” by Huntrix plays EVERY time Andre drives to the gym. Movie season, simulation talk, embarrassment, chaos — classic A.J.I energy.

Week 65 is a mix of gratitude, chaos, and big goals. We recap our Thanksgiving dinner experiences at both sides of the family (and all the food we ate), and Andre talks about buying his first two prop firm trading challenges. We also break down the struggle of living with a broken heater all week and waking up in a literal 64° house until the AC guys finally fixed it today. Cozy, chaotic, ambitious — a perfect post-Thanksgiving episode.

Week 64 is our Thanksgiving Special! We try some questionable Thanksgiving-themed foods — including turkey ramen, pumpkin pie ramen, and Crumbl cookie pies — and give our honest reactions. We also dive into the best and worst Thanksgiving foods, the traditions we grew up with, and how Black Friday has changed from full-on chaos to online checkout vibes. Cozy, funny, and nostalgic — the perfect episode for Thanksgiving week.

Week 63 came with surprises from every direction. Jerika ended up serving Lil Xan at work, we talk about her cavity-filling dentist adventure, and Andre witnessed a hot air balloon land in a mall parking lot on the way to work — which definitely wasn’t part of anyone’s plans. The Dolphins finally grabbed a win, and we dive into weird celebrity encounters, our worst dentist memories, strange things we’ve seen while driving, and the wild types of customers you meet in food service. It’s a fun, chaotic, and all-over-the-place episode — just how we like it.

Week 62 had us living like high-schoolers again — literally. We finally got our hands on some cafeteria food thanks to my sister and tried it live on the pod. Between mystery meat and nostalgia, it was… an experience. We also talked about the souvenirs my brother and dad brought back from Peru (including a few surprisingly cool finds) and brainstormed some DIY Christmas gifts since money’s tight this year. From cafeteria chaos to crafty Christmas ideas, it’s a chill, funny, and very real episode.

Week 61 brings spooky season leftovers, bad luck, and some unexpected chaos. We talk about how our Halloween weekend went, share some childhood Halloween memories (including the year my family got the swine flu and had to trick-or-treat from room to room), and recap a fun bowling night with friends. Jerika’s been feeling sick this week and got hit with a speeding ticket in a school zone, rough week all around.
