We talked about her poetry, and she read an original poem on my show.  Monica Lee Floyd is an award winning artist, alternative model, and author living in Savannah, Georgia. Originally from New York, but living in Florida for some time, her artwork has won awards in the Strawbridge Art Competition, Space Coast Art Festival, and been displayed in the Brevard Museum of Art and Science. “Savannah Gothic” is Floyd’s first book of gothic poetry, and her second book is completed and awaiting publication. She is currently writing her first fiction novel. She has three brilliant children who she adores, and a cat named Hera.
