It's the curmudgeon you love to crush on (I know that doesn't quite work but go with it) Marc McDonald (formerly of the now defunct Shlock Treatment podcast which he quit quite a while before it ended because... reasons) is back on the show and as hilariously miserable and confused as ever! Hear the two of us drop inexplicable Lovejoy references while discussing the cult and, some-might-say, lost Scorsese Masterpiece, King of Comedy! Plus grouchy comedy and half-assed music! This time it's VERY exciting as it's a film in which they star together, Quicksand, directed by the maker of The Long Good Friday, clearly one of Caine's cigar and cognac buddies. Jim and I tackle the last of our 4 Sleazy Spader Springtime movies with The Watcher from 2000 that co-stars Keanu Reeves. It's absolute nonsense, cliched madness that's got its share of plot holes, questionable acting choices, crazy uses of stunt doubles and some unpleasant dancing. We also learn about the Director's love of late 90s editing effects, the Spader Sleaze-a-torium and hear the two hosts bicker like old people at Bingo who misheard the rules. ENJOY!

It's our second week of sleazy Spader springtime and we are trying to wrap our burger stuffed heads around the madness that is Dream Lover.
