In this episode Justin connected with fellow film lover and maker Fernando Lino to  discuss his remarkable debut documentary film 'Retirement Home'. It's not a flashy in your face story, but rather a gentle journey into the experience of living in a home with all the melancholy and sense of joy of community that brings. Watching it reminded Justin of the work of the Maysles brothers, and it was a honor to be able to discuss all the hard work and passion he poured into making his own very thoughtful, restrained, and stylistic documentary.

The Joes are getting spooky again, the only question is are they bad to the bone as they check out the collab between two of the masters of horror on their respective mediums, John Carpenter and Stephen King. How will they fare vs the killer 1950's Plymouth, Christine!

FINALLY after a long hiatus, Avg Joe_e is back with a fresh and impromptu episode of Schlock Talk! He once again welcomes Jenna, from the LLamageddon episode and the Christmas Specials, to talk this cheesy, vengeance B movie with some Bitchin' 80s vibes and girl power!

The Joes return and travel to the far east to investigate one of the most hypnotic movies of the Japanese new wave era in Cure before heading to Gotham to try to determine who's the baddest baddie in the beloved sequel Batman Returns

Joes are back with a new season and some format changes First off they head to the antebellum period of the south to check out Victor Fleming's Gone With the Wind Then off to China during the Western Imperialism of the late 1800s/early 1900s for Jet Li's Fearless 

The Joes are heading down to the Florida Keys, to Key Largo to precise, trying to stay as cool as Bogie trapped in a hotel during a hurricane with no central air! After that they get miniaturized and into some zany adventures in the 80's sci fi comedy romp Innerspace
