⚔️ The Battle You’re Avoiding Is the One That Matters

Most people aren’t losing because life is too hard… They’re losing because they’re fighting the wrong battles. In this episode of The Babbler, Marshall breaks down a powerful and often overlooked truth from the story of David and Goliath in First Samuel. While Goliath stood waiting… Israel stayed busy fighting in the valley. And we’re still doing the same thing today. We fill our lives with activity, discipline, routines, and even good things… but avoid the one battle that would actually change everything. This episode challenges you to examine your priorities: • Are you growing… or just staying busy? • Are you fighting your flesh… or avoiding it? • Are you building the Kingdom… or just maintaining comfort? From prayer and personal growth… to church culture, marriage, and parenting… This message will help you refocus on what truly matters. Because when the giant falls… everything else follows. The Most Overlooked & Impactful Ministry? | The Puppet Pulpit ft. Rev. Micah LeClercq

Kids ministry isn’t just games, puppets, and keeping children entertained. It’s spiritual warfare. It’s trauma. It’s eternity in the balance. In this episode of The Babbler, Marshall sits down with children’s evangelist Micah to uncover the reality behind kids ministry that most people never see. From powerful altar moments to heartbreaking stories of broken homes, this conversation reveals why reaching children may be one of the most important — and most overlooked — callings in the church today. You’ll hear real stories of: • Children being delivered and changed at the altar • Entire families impacted through one child’s encounter with God • Trauma, abuse, and brokenness kids carry into church • Why fun and creativity are essential for reaching the next generation • The truth about what happens after the puppet show ends Micah also shares practical tools for ministering to children, including the “LABBS” method for praying effectively with kids, and why listening may be more important than speaking. This episode will challenge the way you view: • Children’s ministry • Evangelism • The future of the church Because the reality is this: We don’t know where these kids are coming from… And we don’t know who they’re going to become. But God does. And what happens in one moment… one service… one altar… can echo into eternity. 📚 Recommended Book from this Episode Me, Myself, and Bob by Phil Vischer thepuppetpulpit.com Facebook: facebook.com/thepuppetpulpit Instagram: Iinstagram.com/thepuppetpulpit YouTube: youtube.com/thepuppetpulpit If this episode impacted you, share it with someone who serves in ministry, works with kids, or needs a fresh perspective on what really matters.

The Throne of Grace | What Esther Teaches About Prayer 🙏

The throne room of God is not closed. You are invited. In this episode of The Babbler, we explore one of the most powerful spiritual truths in Scripture: our access to the throne of grace. Using the story of Esther and the king's golden scepter, this episode reveals how approaching God once carried the risk of death. In the Old Testament, only one high priest could enter the most holy place once a year. But because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, everything changed. Today you can approach the throne of grace boldly. In this episode we talk about: • The powerful story of Esther approaching the king • Why the golden scepter matters for believers today • How Jesus gave us daily access to God's presence • Why many Christians struggle to pray with confidence • The difference between our righteousness and His righteousness • Why prayer is more than just religious routine Many people avoid prayer because they feel unworthy. Others rush through it like a checklist. But God is not a distant ruler waiting to judge you. He is a King extending the scepter. If you will come to Him, He will answer. If you feel distant from God, discouraged in prayer, or unsure how to approach Him, this episode will remind you of something powerful. The throne room is open. Listen now and rediscover the incredible access we have to God through the name of Jesus. Now Is The Time ⏰ | Win Your World 🌎

The clock is ticking. Jesus is coming back. And there is still room at the table. Episode 40 of The Babbler is not a theology lecture. It is a wake up call. In this episode, Marshall delivers a passionate and urgent plea for personal evangelism in the final hour. Drawing from Mark 16, Luke 14, 1 Corinthians 15, and Romans 10, this message centers on one undeniable truth. We are commanded to go. Go into all the world. Preach the gospel to every creature. Compel them to come in. This is not about feelings. It is about obedience. In Mark 16, Jesus makes it plain. These signs shall follow them that believe. If we are not seeing the signs, maybe we have not given them anything to follow. In Luke 14, the servant returns from inviting guests and says, Lord, it is done as you commanded, and yet there is still room. Heaven is not full. The blood has not expired. There is still space at the table. In Romans 10, Scripture asks one of the heaviest questions in the Bible. How shall they hear without a preacher? That preacher is you. This episode confronts fear, complacency, rejection, and distraction. It calls believers to step out of comfort zones and into highways and hedges. It challenges us to consider how we will feel when the Lord returns and someone we could have reached is on the outside looking in. You will also hear: • Why signs and miracles follow movement • Why evangelism is a command, not a personality type • What it means to be steadfast and unmovable in the work of the Lord • How rejection does not mean failure • A powerful real life story about knocking doors and finding someone who was waiting If you have felt inadequate, unqualified, or worn down by rejection, this episode will remind you that someone is waiting on you to speak. Right now is the time. If they have breath, they need the gospel. Listen. Share. Go. Feed My Sheep 🐑 | The Heart Of A Soul Winner, Caden Russell

If evangelism feels intimidating, irrelevant, or “not your thing,” Episode 39 will change how you think about soul winning forever. In this powerful conversation on The Babbler, special guest Caden Russell shares his testimony of drifting from God in college, hitting a breaking point at 3 AM in a gym parking lot, and being radically restored by the Holy Spirit. More than a worship leader, Caden carries a burning passion for authentic soul winning for today’s generation. In this episode you’ll hear: • How God resurrected Caden’s life when everything seemed dead • Why *authenticity* is more attractive than polished performance • What Jesus meant when He said, “Feed My sheep” (John 21) • How evangelism looks different in a social media era • Why compassion must lead to action • Real stories of souls genuinely encountered and won • How to share the gospel with generosity, courage, and wisdom Caden and Marshall also talk about how God is moving on university campuses, how doctrine matters *with* love, and how revival isn’t just for church buildings — it’s for hearts everywhere. If you’ve ever felt nervous to share your faith, unsure how to have gospel conversations, or like revival has passed you by, this episode is for *you*. When Sowing Is Slow 🌱 | Stony Ground vs. Fertile Soil

If it feels like nothing is growing, this episode is for you. In Episode 38 of The Babbler, Marshall tackles a tension every minister, leader, and faithful believer eventually faces. What do you do when you are sowing seed but not seeing results? When others seem to have instant revival, instant growth, instant numbers, and you are just… planting? Drawing from Mark chapter 4 and the parable of the sower, this episode contrasts stony ground and fertile soil. Some seeds spring up quickly but wither just as fast. Others disappear underground for a long season before ever breaking the surface. The difference is not in the seed. It is in the soil. This is a message for: • Pastors and evangelists tempted to measure success by numbers • Bible study teachers who feel unseen • Campus ministers and P7 leaders sowing faithfully • Church members serving quietly without recognition • Anyone weary in well doing Marshall speaks candidly about the pressure within Pentecostal culture to produce visible results. He shares real stories from nursing home ministry, small struggling congregations, and moments that felt fruitless at the time but later produced lasting impact. This episode challenges the idea that immediate response equals lasting revival. You will also hear a powerful illustration involving Norman Borlaug, Henry Wallace, George Washington Carver, and a chain of seemingly small acts that ultimately helped save two billion lives. The lesson is simple but profound. What you sow today may produce fruit you never live to see. Key themes in this episode: • The parable of the sower explained • Stony ground revival versus rooted discipleship • Obedience over metrics • Why instant growth is not always lasting growth • Faithfulness in hidden seasons • Trusting God with long term impact If you are doing everything you know to do and still not seeing visible results, do not grow discouraged. The sower’s responsibility is not to control the soil. The sower’s responsibility is to sow. Your obedience matters. Your faithfulness matters. What you are planting today could impact generations. Not Forgotten | The God Who Sees 👀

If you have ever felt forgotten by God, this episode is for you. In Episode 37 of The Babbler, Marshall shares a deeply personal and biblical encouragement for anyone walking through a season where God feels silent, distant, or absent. Drawing from a recent Alabama District Men’s Conference and moments of personal prayer, this episode explores a powerful truth found throughout Scripture. God sees you, God hears you, and God knows exactly where you are. Using the story of Hagar in Genesis 16, we look at the God who reveals Himself as the One who sees. The same God who provided in the wilderness, heard prayers in prison cells, calmed storms, and answered desperate cries in Scripture is still working today. Whether you are serving in ministry, facing disappointment, struggling financially, battling discouragement, or simply feeling weary in your walk with God, this episode is meant to remind you that you are not alone. This conversation speaks directly to pastors, ministry leaders, and believers who are trying to remain faithful in difficult seasons. It is a reminder that faith is formed in endurance, that God’s silence is not His absence, and that every trial has purpose in shaping a deeper walk with Him. In this episode: • The God who sees Hagar and why that matters today • Encouragement for seasons when God feels quiet • Faith, endurance, and trusting God through uncertainty • Why obedience often leads through uncomfortable places • Biblical examples of God hearing and responding to prayer • Finding renewal when your walk with God feels dry If you need encouragement today, this episode is a reminder that the same God of Scripture is still present, still listening, and still working on your behalf. 🎙️ Ep. 35 | Break The Cycle ⛓️‍💥 | Go After It

You were not created to walk in circles. In this episode of The Babbler, we confront the exhausting cycle so many believers know too well: sin, repentance, repeat. Drawing from the journey of Israel in the wilderness and their crossing of the Jordan River in Joshua 3, this message calls listeners to stop circling unbelief and start stepping into promise. God delivered Israel from Egypt quickly, but unbelief kept them wandering for forty years. The promise was real. The victory was available. But only those willing to believe the report of the Lord entered in. This episode speaks directly to: Cycles of hidden or habitual sin Repeated altar moments without lasting change Unbelief disguised as caution or routine Fear of taking the next step God is asking for Standing at the edge of something new and hesitating From addiction to freedom, from wilderness to promise, this message reminds us that God goes before us, but we must follow. The Jordan did not part until the priests put their feet in the water. Faith required movement. If you feel stuck… If you feel like you’ve been here before… If you feel the Lord calling you forward but fear is holding you back… This episode is your invitation to break the cycle, trust God, and go after the promise. Praise is not filler. Praise is the doorway. In this passionate episode of The Babbler, we walk through Psalm 100 to uncover a powerful biblical truth: there is a way to enter the presence of God, and it begins with thanksgiving and praise. This episode challenges routine, ritual, and robotic worship and calls believers back to exuberant, biblical praise that is rooted in gratitude, obedience, and expectation. Found With Nothing to Offer | What Rescuing Theo 🐶 Taught Me About Salvation

What does a rescue puppy found on railroad tracks have to do with salvation, adoption, and the grace of God? Everything. In this heartfelt episode of The Babbler, Marshall shares a deeply personal and unscripted message inspired by Theo, a rescued puppy who came into his family with nothing to offer and yet became a source of overwhelming joy. Through this simple but powerful story, the conversation unfolds into a profound biblical truth: we bring nothing to the table, yet God chooses us anyway. Drawing from Romans 8 and Ezekiel 16, this episode explores the beauty of spiritual adoption, the mercy of a loving Father, and the reality that salvation is not earned but received. Just like Theo was rescued, washed, welcomed, and made part of the family, so too are we brought out of sin, shame, addiction, and brokenness and made heirs with Christ. The When and Where of Jesus’ Birth | Prophecy Fulfilled in Bethlehem | Christmas Mini Episode

In this Christmas mini episode of The Babbler , we explore the powerful when and where of Jesus’ birthand why the details matter more than we often realize. While we frequently reflect on the humility of the manger, this episode zooms in on God’s precision, revealing how Bethlehem and God’s divine timeline were not random, but prophetically ordained centuries in advance. Drawing from Micah 5:2, Isaiah 9:6, Daniel 9, and the genealogy through Ruth, Boaz, and King David, this message shows how a small, seemingly insignificant town became the epicenter of redemption. We trace how Daniel’s prophetic timeline intersects perfectly with the life of Jesus, proving that God is intentional with history, geography, and destiny. This episode is an encouragement for anyone who feels overlooked, out of place, or stuck in a season that doesn’t make sense. Just as God aligned the crosshairs of time and space for the birth of Christ, He is also ordering your steps. If you’ll say yes, even without full understanding, God can lead you exactly where and when you need to be to fulfill His purpose.  A timely Christmas message about prophecy, obedience, and trusting God’s plan, even when it disrupts your comfort.   #BirthOfJesus #ChristmasSermon #BiblicalProphecy #Bethlehem #Daniel9 #Micah52 #JesusChrist #GodsTiming #ChristianPodcast #TheBabbler Birth of Jesus prophecy Jesus born in Bethlehem Micah 5:2 explained Daniel 9 prophecy timeline Christmas sermon on Jesus birth When and where Jesus was born Biblical prophecy fulfilled Jesus genealogy Ruth Boaz David God’s timing and purpose Christian podcast Christmas episode

Biblical Government, Submission, and the Kingdom of God | Rev. Rowdy Boyte

What if God’s idea of government has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with submission? In this episode of The Babbler, Marshall sits down with Reverend Rowdy Boy, assistant pastor of New Home Church in Atmore, Alabama, to explore what the Bible really teaches about government, authority, and the Kingdom of God. This conversation moves beyond modern political debates to examine God’s original design for leadership, why Scripture points toward a monotheistic theocracy led by Jesus Christ, and how Christians are called to live under God’s authority while still functioning within earthly governments. Rowdy shares his powerful testimony of transformation, insights from Genesis, Acts, and the Gospels, and clarifies common misunderstandings surrounding Acts 2, “having all things in common,” submission, worship, holiness, and grace. Together, they unpack how the Holy Spirit empowers believers to live out Kingdom values without coercion, force, or political dominance. If you’ve ever wondered: • What does the Bible say about government? • Is theocracy biblical? • How should Christians view politics and authority? • What does it mean to live as a citizen of God’s Kingdom? Who Is God?❓ | Trinity to Oneness With Rev. Brandon Nero

Welcome to The Babbler! Today we explore one of the most important topics in all of Christianity: Who is God? 💪 Strengthen Your Stakes: Prayer 🙏

In this audio-only episode of The Babbler, we’re in a season of hunger and revival. I share fresh stories from local outreach—people saying, “We need revival right now”—and a call for the Church to step boldly into this moment. From Isaiah 54:2 (“enlarge the place of your tent… strengthen your stakes”), we unpack how growth requires strength, not just stretch. Part 1: Strengthen Your Stakes — Prayer. We break down two pillars: devotional prayer (Psalm 5; Matthew 6:6)—that set-the-day, behind-the-door time with God—and walking prayer (1 Thess. 5:17)—ongoing, turn-by-turn fellowship with the Lord through your whole day. If we expand without deepening consecration, we become “spiritual slime”—stretched thin and torn by the first strong wind. But if we strengthen the stakes, we can carry the canvas of harvest God is giving. If you’re hungry for practical revival, this episode will help you build a prayer life that lasts, so you can serve beyond comfort and sustain growth. 🎧 Audio-only (still image). 🙌 Share this with someone who’s been sensing the call to pray and reach. 📖 Scriptures: Isaiah 54:1–3; Psalm 5:1–3; Matthew 6:6; 1 Thessalonians 5:17; Psalm 139:8.
