It's my dad's birth week so OF COURSE I had to sit down with him for even just a baby interview to chat with him about life lessons, his conversion story, his favorite child (me) and so much more. My dad has always been a quiet guy, but he has his moments where he can be funny and you guys LOVE when I have him on! Big yikes NATION! This week, all the way from London town we have KIERAN on the pod aka Priscilla's boyfriend, and my dad lmao we chat about his trip here and how he likes it so far, tummy troubles, moving, managing long distances, and SO MUCH MORE! We even rate each other's accents because we just had to! ALL ABOUT LONDON!!! I sat down with two of my best friends and roommates for five weeks, Mickelle & Bre, and talked about our time in the UK! We chat about costs, funny stories, the most memorable moments, and life lessons learned while away from Utah. this week I had the opportunity to sit down with a literal icon, Deborah Colimon!!! Deb is someone I've looked up to since I met her. We talk about how we first got to be friends over her Love Island water bottle, her childhood in both Florida and New York, a little bit about her conversion to the LDS religion, her BYU experiences, etc. Deb was kind enough to share some of her experiences as a woman of color here in Utah and offers advice to other women of color in dating, school, and professionally. When I tell you this was one of the best interviews I've ever done, I truly mean it. ENJOY<3

YOU GUYS! I've been meaning to have Mickelle on the podcast and it's FINALLY happened! Mickelle is someone I've known for over five years, truly one of those friends where you can go so long without seeing each other but picking up right where you left off. We talk about how we lived together, Harry Styles, Taylor Swift, Glee fan fiction, Texas Roadhouse, and our study abroad coming up this summer. I just have to start with the fact that I LOVED recording this weeks episode. I got to sit down with Isaac and talk about his experiences growing up in both Korea and Utah and how it shaped his youth. We both discussed what it's like growing up biracial and recalling our first experiences of people being racist towards us. We talk about religion and how that's played a pretty big part into who we are today. I think this truly takes place as my favorite episode I've recorded so far! We get to talking about our dreams and life plans and how we need to remember our childhood dreams and make them a reality. Isaac is very knowledgable, personable, open minded, and relatable and I think those are just some of the things that made this such a great conversation.
