The Bob Muir and The Enemy Below Podcast

Here finally after delays and a vacation and other stuff. We talk about Trump, coming attractions and new planets - we honor Bill Paxton's memory and the bad movie is Goldface The Fantastic Superman.

Back a bit quicker this time - Bob and the Bandit - The Enemy Below is still living a happy and productive life so well why bother with this muck yes? Anyway Bob and The Bandit talk about Trump (who isn't really) - Valentines day, the upcoming movies - Logan, Ghost in the Shell, Kong of Skull Island, the problems DC is having with their extended universe films, then we note the passing of John Hurt, and finish off with another movie the Bandit couldn't finish (it's not a test it really was a painful film) The Monster of Piedras Blancas. Just sorry as all get out this took so long. We had tech problems (our recording equiment ate no less than two complete podcasts) just getting the time to edit this as the end of the year went on was another problem but it's here at last. Plan to do better going forward. We talk about Trump (this was recorded before he took office so we didn't know how bad it was going to get) Rogue One and the passing of Carrie Fisher - Bob burbles about the podcast  Welcome to Night Vale which you should listen to (after you listen to this) and the Bad Movie is The Day the Fish Came Out a would be Dr. Strangelove style film just does not work. Sorry this took so long as well but it's here at least - Bob and the Bandit discuss the end of the summer movie season what happens to directors when they get too famous, the new Japanese Godzilla film, King Kong, the new TV season (which is well under way now we know) a few weird things going out out there in the Galaxy and we say good bye to Gene Wilder- the Bad Movie is a Roger Corman film - Queen of Blood. And we're back - we keep trying but we will be on a more regular casting schedule for sure (or we hope) Anyway Bob and the Enemy Below discuss the new Star Trek film,. some superhero themed Sex Toys and then some creepy stuff about how the founder of Paypal wants to live forever and will use the blood of the living to do that. Sorry for the Delay - in this episode Mr. The Bandit and Bob talk about how bad the Fantastic Four films are and why - and lament the misuse of Doctor Doom - we also jabber a bit about this and that including the odd tendency of wildlife scientists trading pictures of Animal's junk - We the passing of Yvonne Craig (TV's Batgirl and Female lead in Mars Needs Women) and Melody Patterson (Wrangler Jane of F-troop) - which leads to a side bar where we talk about TV Themes and the words to some that you'd not expect to have words. The Bad Movie is Mosquitoman - and what a shock - it's dreadful. Doom contemplates getting a new agent.

And back again - this week it's just The Enemy Below and Bob - What happened to Mr. The Bandit well you'll have to listen. We talk about odds and ends and the failure of the Fantastic Four and can this franchise be saved? The Bad Movie is one that the late Christopher Lee called one of the worst things he ever did - 1977's Starship Invasions . Enjoy! I'm going to fire my agent the instant I finish this film.

Hi Bob is back from the wild highlands of Scotland where he manged not to see the Loch Ness Monster which is talked about a bit. The lads talk about a bunch of things including the passing of Christopher Lee. The Bad Movie is about a mutated killer rabbit and such a shock it's not very good -the title is Beasterday. Enjoy!

Well we are back - we talk about Mad Max, Hawkgirl, Agent Carter, Grodd, Zombeavers  - the wonders of science and the passing of John Nash and Anne Meara and there is a weird side bar about Gilligan's Island - followed by the Bad Movie - El Santo & The Blue Demon vs the Monsters - lots of monster and  is just insane. Sorry it took so long but here's the podcast - The Enemy Below wasn't able to make but the Bandit and Bob manage to jabber about the New Avengers Movie, Batman v Superman, Movies these days - the new CW Show featuring Hawkgirl - the Suicide Squad version of the Joker. Also the Flash and the odd trend of Strippers at Funeral (it's a thing in China) - Science is the process of breeding a Mammoth and searching for Aliens and going to Mars has another problem where cosmic rays fry the brains of the astronauts on the way to the planet. There is some talk about having strippers and the song that should be played at Bob's memorial service. The bad movie is Man-Thing, and it's rather bad. There is some more silliness and then the podcast ends. Enjoy...

Hi - between allergies and doing other things managed to get this edited - we talk about Daredevil and his costume - There is a special guess where the heck the bandit is contest, prize to be decided. There is talk about a human head transplant  - we honor - once we remember the passing of Stan Freberg and others - the bad movie is the very very odd Mystics In Bali. Enjoy!

Hi - back after a bit - sorry - we talk about a lot of TV stuff - the Flash and all that - Bob expresses childish petulance over the lack of Gorilla Grodd. We note a bit about Science (as in the Mars landing folks are going to die) and the like - we note the passing of Gregory Walcott who was in Plan Nine From Outer Space - the bad movie is the god awful Enter the Ninja with one of the silliest Death Scenes in history. Hi - the lost episode has been found - we are sadly without the Enemy Below this time. Anyway Bob and Mr. the Bandit talk about this and that mostly Agent Carter - Which we Liked - Gotham - which we're kind wishy washy about - we discuss the problems with pre-quels in general - and look forward in a very nerdy way to the Flash's upcoming encounter with Gorilla Grodd.  In the science section we speak of tripping dinosaurs and the dangerous side effects on rabbits of legalized weed. And bid a sad farewell -as has the rest of the world - to Leonard Nimoy - and the bad movie is something that seems to been plotted by giving a six year old a lot of sugar and taking down what they said - Ninja Apocalypse. We note the ending of the Fantastic Four Comic book in what seems to be a  bit of corporate pique. We talk about DNA in the Subway, how much SETI is starting to sound more like Match.com than ever - we note the sad passing of David Carr and Lesley Gore and the bad movie which pretty much breaks everybody's brain is The Outcast with Nick Cage. Hi after a bit the whole gang is here - we talk about the Oscars and handicap them a bit, we are told about The Enemy Below being in grass skirt, Bob finds the image disturbing. We talk a bit about the Ant Man and Daredevil and Fantastic Four trailers (Bob hates the idea of Dr. Doom as a hacker) - and the new Terminator film . There is a bit a Nazi cows redux followed by talk about AI and welcoming our new robot overlords - the bad movie is, at least for this next week - in theaters:  Jupiter Ascending. And it's not that good. Really. And as we fade out we talk a bit about Bob Dylan's new album of all things Frank Sinatra covers. Enjoy!   Jupiter Jones doing what she does best in this film. Hi we're back at last technical problems seemingly a thing of the past except that Mr the Bandit was not able to make this recording - he promises he'll be there next time.  Thank you all for your forbearance here. anyway Bob and the Enemy Below speak much about this and that Bob launches into a short of history of hard liquor in the early days of the Untied States and then the news that Scarlett Johansson has been given the lead in the live action Ghost in the Shell movie. We give our impressions of Agent Carter - who we both agree is played by the stunningly attractive Hayley Atwell- we are are bit nonplussed by the Ant Man trailer - are they really going to take this seriously? We examine science gone wrong in the saga of the Nazi Cows and the bad movie is so bad Bob doesn't really want to talk about it - The Love Guru. That's Ms. Agent Carter to you!
