    "Support your friends"

If you are on social media, you have probably came across a rant video or two where influencers/entrepreneurs are speaking bitterly about about fake friends and the lack of support from loved ones when they start a new business or start content creation. While many people agree with and mirror the sentiments in those the videos, I dare offer an alternative reason why your friends do not support you when you start a business or when you start your influencer journey. Sometimes, friends feel entitled to the support and fail to understand that it is optional and usually earned.Other times it is a question of interest in your specific niche or product/service, or an issue of reciprocal friendships. Sometimes, the lack of support stems from inadequate knowledge of marketing and social media growth strategies that could positively impact your business. Whatever the reason it for a lack of support, it is important for us to not regard our friends as haters of our business ventures and content creation engagements. We have to keep this in mind as we strive to grow as content creators and learn how to make friends as an adult 2025. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
