The Chopping Block - In The Menus

This week on the podcast we relish the best couch co-op game Overcooked! We follow that up with reports of the Nintendo NX's launch lineup, No Man's Sky drama, and Overwatch news. We follow that with the possibility of a Mel Gibson return, a sequel is already greenlit, and we finish with Suicide Squad drama and my quick review of the film!

After taking a little hiatus Joey and I are back to prove to you that no matter how much you want us to leave, we're not going to. We are back fresh off the heels of SDCC bringing you talk of all the trailers that were shown including the Justice League trailer, Lego Batman, and many more! In gaming we talk about the impact of Pokemon Go, the possiblity of the Nintendo NX being a handheld hybrid, and we're on board for Sonic Mania!

We're back with the second half of our coverage for E3! This week we break down Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo. We also clean up and mention a few other things from E3 week!

E3 is now over! This week Joey and I bring you our coverage and reactions to all of the publisher press confrences that happened this week. We break down Bethesda, EA, and Ubisoft this week. Make sure you stay tuned next week for our coverage of Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo!

The gaming and movie news for the week of February 7th, 2016.We have quite a bit of gaming news this week. We talk trailers, rumors, and hype for some upcoming titles and eventsIn movies we talk about some trailers, including the most recent DC comics ones, and the Terminator sequels being removed from the studio schedule.Finally I show Joey the plans for Hannah Barbera comics for a new generation. Things go about as good as you'd expect.

Were are back this week to talk about the Oscars. We talk about all the major nominees. We also talk about a hashtag that's been making the rounds and frankly were split on it.

It's finally here! If you've been waiting for our take on Star Wars, I've got good news for you! In this episode we talk about some of our plans for the year but most importantly we talk about Star Wars: The Force Awakens. We talk about our thoughts and some of our theories on the film and the future of the trilogy. I don't think I need to say it, considering the current box office of the film, but there are spoilers in this episode. What do you think of our theories, or our thoughts on the film? We had our first annual award show! Everyone was dressed in tuxedos and we had a ton of celebrities in our audience. We got together and discussed the best, and a few of the worst movies and video games of 2015. Didn't get to join us for our special event? Good thing we recorded it all for you too hear! Joey brings his top 7 movies of the year and I follow up with 3 of mine and then I bring a list of the top 10 games of 2015 and Joey rattles off a few of his. I have good news and bad news. The good news is we figured out what made the episode from 2 weeks ago sound so bad. We have a great bonus block for you today!This week we talk about the ultimate movie kaiju mash-up, we discuss the eternal debate of graphics vs gameplay, and I made an adult decision this week.Sorry for the interference on the recording. I accidentally ran a trial version of a new program we were testing out. If you can stomach it you're in for a good episode this week! 

Warning! What you are about to hear is graphic and may not be suitable for all audiences. On a chilly, windy night some police officers were called to investigate a crime scene at an apartment in a local city much like your own. What they found there they never spoke of again. The only record of what they found that night is in their initial report. When they arrived the door was locked. Upon opening the door their accounts said there was an open window and what they could only describe as "a horrific, bloody mess". It was so horrific that none of them have ever talked about the events of that day. The only evidence found at the scene was a computer and a microphone that had recorded the whole thing. Even with this vital piece of information the crime remains unsolved to this day. Recently the police department has released the audio to the public in order to see if they can aid in the investigation. Initial analysis of the recording stated that the two victims were discussing their favorite Halloween memories, recurring nightmares, and were talking about some thing called "creepypasta". Then it happens.
