I always find it very fascinating how life always brings us back to moments in our lives where we can look back on. Yesterday it marks Valeria's 2 year anniversary since her last episode and wow...has my little sister surely bloomed.

We met by accident in CSUSM and somehow still continue to manage to be present in each others lives. Mason is considered to be one of the brightest Political Science minds I've ever met during my time in college. He was there for me when I needed a gentle reminder to not give up. As we both transition into this new chapter of adulthood, one thing remains clear and that is that we will always hold a special bond together. As I say goodbye to the nonprofit internship that I started earlier this year, I wanted to take the time to recognize the hard work the staff at Pathways to Citizenship bring to the community.
