Today Dan and I did some much needed catching up after having made it through the holidays.  I give a shout out to my old 1138th En Co battle buddies, as Jan31 is the anniversary of a tragic ambush we dealt with 16 years ago.  We talk about the election year and all the trappings involved in what is sure to be a real mess.ultimately we set the stage for a great year.  Thanks for joining us on this journey!

This Episode of the compass explores our new favorite slogan: "Make America 50 States again".  As the ShowMe state, we are most interested in a bottom up model of governance where the federal layer responds to the will of the states.  We get to provide our methods over time and encourage other states to adopt our ideas based on merit.  ultimately we don't solve any of the major problems facing humanity during this conversation, though we take a very small step towards it every time we (in good faith) try. In this conversation, Dan and I take a crack at unraveling the ball of yarn that is "Crypto".  I am very happy with the result, though, what we need from here are another round of questions and a future episode focused on making the path forward seem more obvious clear and necessary.

IMO best episode to date!  We discuss 5th generational warfare. I experience the Mandela Effect live on air and recalibrate my understanding of the difference between the terms "lobster effect" and "frog effect". Along the way we reveal our new slogan "Make American 50 States again", and discuss the what, when, who, why, and how's of the concept.Audience interaction is something we are really interested in, and looking forward to scaling.  thanks so much to all of our early supporters!

Here we have the full post-competition episode with Dan Berlemann, myself, and James Williamson who got 2nd in his bracket at the tourney.  This should be a real treat especially for anyone who is thinking about competing, or who currently competes locally. We discuss everything we feel like we did right and wrong; including how we go about dealing with all the different aspects of the sport. From things we have complete control of, all the way to some things totally outside of anyones control.

Dan and I find a moment over the summer of 2023 to get together for a recording. It is very exciting to have this project off the ground and dropping episodes. Much more to come!
