Beatty Carmichael, author of "The Prayer of Freedom", joins The Days of Noah for the first time, sharing his journey of faith as God gave him a gift of healing and then removed it, all for the purpose of showing Beatty a better way, a more duplicatable way that he can teach others.  It centers on the idea that, if an issue has a spiritual root due to sin, that it needs to be addressed spiritually in the way God prescribes in His word.  And Beatty found a 90% success rate of healing when applying these principles!  The second half of our conversation with conclude on the next episode, #179. Rod and Pete put a bow on this Mini episode topic with a final part 8, asking the question: when do we become "eternally secure" as believers in Christ? We may not be able to "lose" our salvation, but can we walk away from it? That's the very definition of apostasy. Should the early church fathers of the first 2 centuries AD be given greater weight in their biblical and theological commentary than their successors? We welcome Dr. Natalie Atwell, a mental health therapist who has a clinic helping people get healing while embracing a biblical and supernatural worldview.  So much of traditional mental health misses the mark when they don't consider the three rebellions of the Old Testament, how demonic spiritual forces literally hate every human being for us as image-bearers of The Most High God.  There is much even the body of Christ dismisses, such as deliverance ministry, and much it compromises, bringing dangerous spiritual practices into the church.  We have to strike a balance, led by God's word and the Holy Spirit, and understand the holistic reality of what we're up against.Check out EP 149 for the conclusion of our conversation.
