There is no doubt in my mind that Parkinson's has changed me in so many ways. It has taken and given. It has changed me completely. I have redirected and rerouted the once automatic to manual mode. I don't see it as a struggle it's more of a challenge in what I am prepared to accept. It has enhanced my perspective of everything. It has given me the gift of creativity. I don't see life in black and white. I now see it in colour. My perspective of what I see has been enhanced. You have to come to terms with the implications of what living with Parkinson's will mean. It's a seismic change of lifestyle which can never be ready for but you have to accept it and change with it. You are dealing with a Chameleon. A changeling.It took me years before I had any inclination of what I would have to do. I had to sacrifice my soul to gain. I had to simplify my life. I would have to evolve with it. I would have to accept it as being a normal part of me and in doing so I was giving it cred
