I have dealt with Imposter Syndrome pretty much my whole life. This is what it's been like since I got into this business. 

Back in Jan of 2024 I did a show about AMR being done in San Bernardino County. A lot of people thought I was wrong because AMR was fighting it. They pushed it to the federal court system.  Here's what happened and why it's a good thing for the employees of AMR in San Bernardino County.   

We are all guilty of being a hypocrite at some point. 

Today we are doing things a little different.

I dive into the numbers of private EMS and guess what? You're not getting that raise you want. 

I am at a crossroads of what to do with The EMS Lounge.  It's the reason I've been gone from the socials lately.

I was brought up in the fire service by John Wayne. 

Your patients and your victims dont care about anything except whether or not you are competent and can save them.  That's it. Nogthing more, nothing less.

How good is your resume as a first responder? I'll bet it's better than you think.

I was recently, somewhat, challenged by Conduct_unbecoming to shift gears of the podcast. So, I took his advice.  When is the last time you trained for your job? Like, actually trained?

Do you have a group of people you are comfortable around? I do. 

For some of us, we are always in our comfort zone.

Out of all the conspiracy theories over the last 3 years, I would say 99% have come true. Listen to Tucky from rancid_commode go over some of the more famous ones. 

These podcasts nearly write themselves at this point. All these Chiefs are messing up so bad that it's making my writing easy. 

It's time to bring back bullying. My whole life I've hated bullying and always stood up for the little guys.  I think it's time we bring it back with the way ya'll been acting lately. 

Let's just let the hate build. I know most of you don't like this topic. So that's why I'm talking about it now. 

When your life is on the line, who do you want to be working with? The most qualified or the most diverse?

Continuation of last week's episode. I am tired of hearing that people don't want to work or that their feelings got hurt.  If you can't or won't do the job, then you need to home. 

In lieu of all the weak people in this world, This one is for you. If you are easily offended, don't listen. And just go home. This one will surely offend some people. 

I was watching the olympics and it occurred to me....we need to have the first responder Olympic Games.    

I would never racially profile someone but I do play the numbers.

Comedian Bill Engval had a joke about stupid people should have to wear a sign. I truly believe a lot of them do. 

This was recorded with my portable equipment. Sound quality is not the best. But it does talk about the bonds that are created through trauma.
