7. The country cholo: Armando from "The Bow Hitch" Built out of necessity.
I got to meet Armando last May at the Soldier Hollow Mountain archery event. To say Armando and the rest of the crew was welcoming would be an understatement. It was the 1st event I took the 1stPhorm outdoors crew to, and an event we would create some lifetime friendships at. I was happy with the fun, family vibe of the whole event, but what I was most proud of was the work I have seen individuals, like Armando, put in to bettering themselves and those around them since that event. Today’s conversation, we dive into Armando's up-bringing, personal lifestyle, business and more. You can learn more and support Armando at the following links. 4. Clinton Kingston 40 attempts to find victory.
From being a full time dad, a loving husband, and a former fat kid, Clint has a great story. My hope is that some of you can gain some perspective from his story, I know I did.Clint loves the outdoors, it started with waterfowl and moved into big game, all along his dad grew up a vegetarian, and here Clint is packing out bull elk on his back.We find out that he wasn’t always super fit, and found himself in what he calls the darkness. He over came set backs, and one of the hardest losses life when losing his father, who he calls his hero.He gave the final workout in the November Knock down challenge 40 attempts securing his spot at the knockdown championship. All I can say is after getting to know him I have great deal of respect for him, and I have no doubt in my mind that his Hero looks down on him proud as hell.
