If you fail to reframe your limiting beliefs, your actions will forever stay in alignment with those beliefs, and you will ultimately lead a life of regret. But if you take responsibility for your thoughts and work to shift them to more productive ways of thinking, you could quite literally shift your life and make meaningful progress towards your goals.

So it is definitely worth considering..How is choosing average actually holding you and your family back?

12. "Get A Good Job. Save Money. Retire." Sounds Safe. Feels Like A Prison
We've all heard it. "Go to school, get a safe, stable job with good benefits, save your money and one day retire." The golden ticket path we were told to follow by our parents, teachers, political leaders, and others. While this message is well-intentioned, it comes from an outdated and limited school of thought.Unfortunately, these limitations are placed on us as kids, long before we enter the awareness of reality. Thus, we end up repeating the cycle. Working jobs we hate, to pay bills we can barely afford, raising our families to survive instead of thrive. In today's episode, I break down the hidden cost of not pursuing a passionate, impactful life and why you should absolutely avoid following the path of others.

06. The Importance of Seeking Support
Chances are, you are in a position where having support would benefit your life. Whether you have yet to address past traumas, you struggle with taking purpose-aligned action, or you just aren't sure what the path to your goal is, having someone there to support your growth is a priceless asset.Unfortunately, so many people who could benefit from a therapist, coach, consultant, etc, avoid seeking out help. They think they don't need it. Yet that thought is actually one of the things holding them back from pursuing self-mastery.

05. You Don't Know the Truth
As humans, we are always making interpretations; if we weren't, we would be asking for clarification literally on everything we hear and experience. Sometimes these interpretations hold us back from achieving what we want. Whether that is comfort in the workplace, a deeper relationship with somebody you love, or the abundant life you know you are capable of achieving. In this episode, I dive deeper into what these interpretations could look like and how you can be more self-aware towards not only your own interpretations, but the interpretations of those around you.

04. Stop Avoiding Accountability
One of my favorite quotes is " People are sometimes more willing to accept the pain they know than to face the fear of things they don't. But that doesn't mean people can't change." - Bruce D Schnieder It can be very easy to sit and blame our circumstances on external things like our bosses, politicians, our kids, etc. Everyone is dealt a different hand, but those who succeed accept the hand they have and play the game anyway. They understand that their circumstance don't change their responsibility to themselves and their family. Those who fail blame the hand and those with better ones. They fold. They choose to believe that they are at the effect of their world, not the cause of it.Will you play or fold?
